I was wondering, who out there knows whats new or will be coming out soon.
I have Wolfenstein, Black, COD modern, All Fears & a few others. (I know I'm forgetting some). I have read about Mass effect, but there seems to be some confusion about if it's FPS or 3rd person.
Any Idea's? I am getting bored with all the others. I have played 'em all over & over. Please help.

about the only one coming out soon that looks cool to me is Metro 2033. I wouldn't call Mass Effect a FPS.

Thanks, I don't know why, but a FPS is what I want. My son loves Evil 5, but told me I wouldn't like it because it was a 3rd person. I have GOW but it's just not the same. Know what I mean?

BAttlefield: bad company 2 comes out in march. I've been playing b:bc as my primary game for about 6 months now and I'm still completing the achievements online. What makes this game great in my opinion is the vehicles. Saturday I finished my 50 boat road kills. I almost got the 4 road kills from a helicopter in a round today. The squad-based combat is a nice touch, giving you the option to spawn on a squadmate or at your base.

Bioshock 2 is here today I think? Army of Two is out. There are some others coming early summer.
I like FPS and 3rd person so meh!
I know it is an older game . But have you played Bioshock? ( great game)
FarCry2? ( did not like it myself)
If you own a decent PC you can go the Crysis/Crysis Warhead route.
I never get bored of those games.
Does the xbox 360 have any of the Halflife series?

I appreciate the post as I've wanted to update my collection. I haven't bought a game in ages. I thought about Crysis, but I've been putting it off until I build a quad core. Bioshock (both) looks awesome. I've only played the very brief demo from Steam.
Bad Company series - finally ported to PC!! I have all Battlefield releases that included an updated engine and have collected gigs of mods. Love the sandbox approach with all vehicles and aircraft available on typically large maps. I've always looked at Bad Company as DICE's offering to the single player crowd and am looking forward to playing on the PC. Maybe this is my next purchase? I was checking some forums about it and someone complained that DICE was forsaking the console players....I thought, "please....PC is where DICE has made their money".
So it's prolly Bioshock or Bad Company. Then again, Battlefield 1943 is scheduled for realease soon also.
I don't know about the HL series on console, but I am still aching for the Black Mesa mod. It is a re-creation of Half Life on the Source engine. After 5 years of work it was due out at the end of 2009....still waiting.

Thank you for the info. I will look closer at the Bad Co. & look forward to the battlefield one.
Dong: Thank You. I know I am picky but I've been playing since Doom came out on the computer. But now I can't really get into playing on the computer anymore. I like the xbox the best.
