Now ,Powerball and Mega Millions is sold in Tn where up until a few weeks ago. Power ball was Tn and Mega was GA.
I will usually give $3 a week for one or the other....it's pretty rare I spend over $6 a week....has to be some really big pots involved to get up towards $10 a week..

I play multiple games, but only play Mega if the jackpot is really high.
I never played scratch-offs at all until this past summer. I bought a $5 ticket in Willoughby on a whim---pretty much cuz the guy in front of me bought 80 bucks worth of this one ticket---so I figured I would throw $5 bucks at the same one and maybe I would get the winner.
While getting gas I scratched it to reveal a $500 winner on $5 bucks!!! It was really kool, I gave the clerk who sold it to me $50 bucks to be nice. Since then I probably buy a scratch-off once a week, usually on Thursday (our busy night at work). It usually depends on how much money I make that week. If I make a lot I will spring for a 5-10 dollar----if not I just might buy a $2.
I only play the Mega when it gets up over 80 Million.

I only play the mega, my wife buys a scratch ticket once in a while... and I laugh at myself for only playing when the jackpot is really high.. like winning $100 million is worth risking $2 but winning $30 million isn't.

lol, I've never understood why people will only buy a ticket if the jackpot is ridiculously high... as if winning $20 or $30 million isn't enough. They remind me of professional athletes.
I spend $6 a week on lottery tix... not every week but most weeks.

I very rarley play the regular and/or mega millions. My father won the lottery in 1986, so I feel my chances are lower because what is the chance that father and son would win???
I usually play with a work pool when one of them get really high.
I'll buy a few scratch offs here and there and the most I ever won was $500 of a $2 Bingo when they first came out.

I'll play Mega Millions once in a great while, if i get the urge or the guys at work get a pool. I used to play the $1 & $2 scratch offs almost daily when i worked next to place that sold them, won $100 a few times.

Because, the way I figure it, if I hit any large jackpot, it will take about every bit of luck I will ever have as long as I live ...... so I'm getting my money's worth .........

I just do instant picks.
I would say if you are the type who uses the same "lucky" numbers every time you play, you best buy a ticket for each draw.
Life could become pretty brutal if "your" numbers hit on a week or game you didn't play.
That would be about as bad as finding a old ticket with the winning numbers only to discover it had gone past the collection date.
I have found more than a few tickets I stuffed away only to rediscover past the 6 month limit.
I didn't even check them.... Just tore them up because I didn't want to find out I had a big winner stuffed in a sock drawer too long.
Sometimes ignorance is bliss.

There's a certain $10 scratch off that I buy occasionally......when there's only a few left in the roll. I've hit it for 100 twice and a 50 over the last year or two. I've only bought 10 or so. I don't play the lotto or any of the other drawing games.

I'm one of those people, been playing the same numbers for about 10 years.
The odd time I don't pick up my tix for whatever reason, I purposely avoid finding out what the winning #s are. That would severely suck.

I usually play pick 3. Not every day but when I think the numbers are right for a hit. I play the rolling cash when it climbs up over 250K and mega when its over 50m. I've played pick 4 in the past but not lately. Most I've ever won was on pick 3 straight/box for 583$

My wife might play 3 or 4 times a year. I stand in line with her and speak loud enough for others in line to hear me complain about the government already getting enough of my money and that the lottery is nothing but a tax on stupidity. She knows it is just my way of getting my kicks.
Fortunately I've always had a good job the past 34 years since I've been out of college and so I figure the good Lord has already provided me with an abundance. I truly wouldn't want to win.

Won $150 dollars on Mega Millions last week. 3 numbers + the mega ball.
Ohio is supposed to be getting Powerball in April.

j/c in here,...in my opinion playing your own hand picked numbers at least gives you the opportunity to avoid having the randon generator give you a set of numbers that has previously won. The chances of that happening are even worse than you picking the correct 5/6 in the first place.
Yes, the autolotto winner is from a random ticket most of the time--that's because most people play autolotto. There are certain 3, 4, and 5 digit combinations that have never hit, let alone hit more than once.
I'm talking six-digit Classic here.

Tennessee picked up Mega Million in Feb, so Georgia picked up Power ball.
Guess it makes sense....I didn't like having to drive in to Ga for a few of the super big Mega Million draws over the years.....but I did go the extra 10 miles to pick up a few dozen tickets over the past 10 years..now I can take a shot at both games here in Tennessee while at the gas station or liquor store.

Quick picks....can't remember the last time I stood there pulling numbers out my butt.
I did have a dream a few nights ago(really) the Browns home opener was against Cincy and we won 51- 23....or something close, so if we do indeed open at home against Cincy, pick the over and pick the Browns!

As aformer teacher married to a former teacher, I play & she does not. We hate the pitch that it goes to the schools like it is a monstrous amount, usually announced just before votes on crucial levies. Non-schoolies types need to know that we get enough to run about one week of systems on average, and that is mostly personnel and payroll. REALLY upset when I see loads of prime time commercials for bad and unpopular games on TV (both of us are) because it means more money being spent pointlessly on games and squandering "support" for various things could help the school. Also, we have resented stupidity of census. A0 We get a letter to tell us we will get a letter (send the other one a week earlier; B) the truly idiotic say nothing ads in prime time trying to "sell" the census. I have no idea what the lunatics who OK'd this spent, but dumb, no specifics, and filled with extra folks. My money should be somewhere else, like in my pocket instead.
