How do people get those quote boxes that say who said it when they're not quoting a whole post?

Seems like everyone can do that except me.


WE DON'T NEED A QB BEFORE WE GET A LINE THAT CAN PROTECT HIM

High;light and copy the portion of the text you want to quote. Then either use the quote brackets, or click the " icon on the reply screen, and paste the text you want to quote between the [quote}inserted, quoted text [/quote}.

(I used { instead of [ on the brackets so it would show up)

I just hit the QUOTE button and then DELETE anything that I don't want in the quote.

So put your cursor between "me" and the bracket for [/. Delete that line of text and you are left with:

This did it! Thank You! Funny thing is I've learned that you can change the name of the person you're quoting in the quote box too.
