This is a dress rehearsal. What players will you target for more scrutiny? What do you hope will show up? Not looking for a full breakdown, but a focus on some real keys may help us see a position/players better.
My hat is off to those who break stuff down a bit and indicate what to look for. So. Talk among yourselves.
I personally want to see defense, specifically the corners and the pressure, especially MG. And our receivers mix and how effective they are.

Where/what group Jamie plays with is my one thing outside just loving the position group of linebackers as a whole, especially now we're stacked with legit talent there across the board.

I will be watching our rookies very carefully.

LT, Desmond Harrison

On D, not so much individual players but collectively, as a unit, I want to see them play with speed and relentlessness. I want them noticeably fast and disruptive.

On O, I'd like to see the line continue to get push in the run game, would love to see Callaway and Njoku make a few plays.

I am always trying to get a gauge on the Corners, its almost impossible with camera angles on TV and without knowing what they are running I can't gauge it by where they are "supposed" to be.

I will be looking at Harrison myself.

He was a big time recruit at Texas I believe but for whatever reason ended up at West Georgia. You don't become a top recruit at Texas and not have something going for you.


He might be that rock we can polish and turn it in to a diamond.

I have hopes for Harrison as well. I watched tape on him at West Georgia, and he was a man among boys, no real way to gauge him. He's probably at a disadvantage because of that. I don't expect much out of him this year, but next year and beyond....

Harrison had some moments last week aside from the one holding call. If he plays well this week it might be risky trying to sneak him onto the practice squad.

Interesting point about camera angles. I like some longer shots, like a field-wide pre snap view for formation and alignment. Don't get that often, and some of the work is split so often.
Tracking the ball and allowing for replay is good. But I like to see the backside of the field for other patterns and such. Gets myopic at times. Good point.

I agree. Coleman has had his chance. Same with the guy we picked up from Detroit. If after 3-4 years a player is stuck on mediocre you are probably better off going with a new mediocre player with the hope he moves up.
