It seems we have some of the best tandem players at several positions. Can anyone think of teams that have better combos than the Browns? Certainly no one has so many quality tandems combined. Am I right or wrong?

Receivers
OBJ, Landry

Running back
Chubb, Hunt

DE
Garret, Vernon

CB
Ward, Greedy (TBD)

(extra credit)
Brains
Freddie, Baker

Crazy dude. I was just thinking about this on the way to work. I don't know that there are other teams that compare in quality, I DO know that this is a benchmark for the Browns that can only be compared to the two or three incarnations that we consider "glory days".

Long way to go for Greedy and Ward to reach the status of Minnifield / Dixon, but the challenge is there. It's a great thing for players that are often coined as "alone on an island" to look across the field at someone that says "I got your back".

just speaking on the corners..

Heck, Ward and Mitchell is a heck of a tandem alone.. I think people forget how great our coverage was before Mitchell got hurt last season.

Adding Greedy making them a possible great trio.

Like poker — trips to win! What cool thread; I had not considered this, but the pairs are awesome listed here. BM and Freddie. Does Dorsey have one?

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Well, that makes sense. He is getting lots of credit, but he can't be flying solo. Support and organization. The new GIGO — "Gold in, Gold Out." He seems to be the King Midas of Pigskin. LOL

Don't stop! It's just getting good!

Just for discussion sake, the Mack-Byner RB tandem was pretty strong, along with Dixon-Minnie at CB. We had some badass LB on that team too: Clay Matthews and Chip Banks on the outside, along with Mike Johnson and Eddie "The Assassin" Johnson on the inside. As far as coach/QB tandems, OC Lindy Infante and Bernie were all that, and then some. I will die believing that team should have gone to two SBs.
