Stipe is the baddest man on the planet . What a fight that was !! I thought it was the best HW fight ive seen in a long time . Diaz made his comeback in a big way the UFC is better with a Diaz in the mix .

Glad to see Stipe back on top the heavyweight division.

I met him at the Barley House a few years ago before a game. Nice guy.

He has really big hands and badly swollen ears.

Stipe was decisively losing that fight until he changed strategies in the 4th. I think it's kind of rare to accomplish that. Big time fight and big time victory. They are calling him the best heavyweight of all time. Two class guys. Really hard to root against either one. Cormier is super class.

That whole card was really good. The last three fights were awesome.

Agree , i have a theory as to why DC didnt take the fight to the ground and that is he knew it was his last fight either way . I suspect he wanted to prove the last fight was no fluke and that he could win on his feet and he was doing so until Stipe made that adjustment .

Diaz is polarizing ( and fortunate that Pettis broke his foot early ) and makes his opponent fight his fight . Tough as nails .

I don't really follow MMA that closely but was interested in the DC - Stipe fight so went and watched over at a friends.

I walked away a Diaz fan.
