The net is now rife with these types of joints... and I love every single one of them.

I want you to consider how much talent, skill, strategy and acumen it takes to synthesize Human Speech into a free-form Jazz improv jam.

The first one I ever saw was: Bill O'Reilley's Jazz Operetta.

We now have such on an entire next level.

This is just as fantastic.

We now live among geniuses who can toss off stuff like this on a drunken dare.

When I do my job, I just put my fingers where/when they tell me. On a rare occasion, I get to make stuff up on the fly- and people gasp. The real superheroes are the folks who can do stuff like this.

Word.
Madazz Skillz.

...and I thought I saw it all when we talked about Sun Ra in our history of jazz class at The University of Toledo.

The band is great. You can tell the lead singer is by far the least talented.

beg pardon... it's "Sun Ra and his Myth/Science Arkestra," if you please-

I loved poring over those album covers. Reading the liner notes.

A Sun Ra listening session was always an event. Bourbon was a must.

They still tour. They have been to Portland twice in the last year or so. They performed at the Portland Art Museum and they returned and played a gig at the Hollywood Theatre here in Portland.

I bought a bottle of bourbon this past weekend. I might emulate what you suggested.
