First off I am a huge fan of the show. Have watched it from the beginning.

But this is a new season after some time off.

Anyway Larry David creates scenes that only he would think of.

Funny. Damn laughed my butt off.

From my perspective that show has provided the funniest stuff I have ever seen on tv.

Don't want to ruin it for anyone who has not seen it but good god I was dying from laughing so hard.

"What are you doing? You're jostling that baby all around. I can't watch this."

"You happy with your tone? I'm not happy with mine. You can't do anything with it. You're like coffee and can add as much cream or as little cream as you like to mix it up."

Ted Danson leaving for his flight telling Cheryl he'll call when the plane lands....

Larry: "You don't have to call. If the plane crashes we'll hear about it. We'll know."

Was dying when Larry pushed over all those electric scooters.

Great episode and just an amazing show.

Haven't watched the second episode yet.

Really I about had a heart attack.

Was by myself and could not stop laughing.

Went to bed and could not get it all the stuff from that episode out of mind.

He had me in the very beginning when he took the selfie stick and broke it in half and threw it away.

Happy New Year.

So, I've never seen the show. Is this binge-worthy from season 1? The wife and I are looking for something new...

yeah, I would say its akin to a dirty Seinfeld but with no restrictions.

I haven't watched the new season yet.

But it is one of the funniest shows in the last 20 years, if not longer.

Absolutely.

If you liked Seinfeld. It is like that but with the gloves off - uncensored.

For my money the funniest tv show of all time.

No need to watch in sequence. Any episode stands alone.

Once you understand him and his character (he plays himself) nothing is sacred.

Absolutely one of, if not the, funniest shows of all time. Not the type of humor everyone will appreciate, however.

I've gone back and watch the series several times.

LD has a way to just take a normal, everyday task and turn it into comedy gold simply based on his obscure viewpoint of the situation. Or he can take something that really is not funny at all, and just make it hilarious.

For instance, of the funnier episodes of the series for me was a time where he gets a ummmm…...hair....stuck in his throat. The entire episode is based around this obstruction in his throat and its completely over the top hilarious, so much i cant even explain it, its just one of those things, you have to watch.

Or a time a older jewish fellow ask him to have a "survivor" over for dinner i think it was. would mean a lot to the "survivor". Larry is like yeah ok absolutely. Turns out its a guy from the actual series "survivor". And of course a real holocaust survivor is there and they argue over who had it worse - which typing, sounds ludicrous and obscene to even suggest, yet when you watch it - its just comedy gold. And theres not a person on earth that could that scene, and make it work as comedy other than LD.

No question LD will cross any border.

Fights with handicapped people. Fixes up a blind guy with a women in a burka.

Remember the hair throat episode also featured a fight at the Nativity Scene. After asking about how hot Mary was.

The episode where he goes to the funeral wake and the dead guy is in the casket with his 3 wood and LD steals it.

I mean he is a master of situational comedy.

He loves breaking social norms.

Now he wears a MAGA hat as a weapon to get away from people that he doesn't want to be around.

I really can not remember seeing anything that has made me laugh more and harder than Curb.

Steals the flowers from Funkhouser's mom's roadside memorial.

Always loved the scene, among hundreds of others, when he and Cheryl go to Starbucks.

LD: "Give me one of those BS coffee things, vanilla whatever, whatever you want, just one of those coffee things."

LD: "This is good. What is it?"

Starbucks employee: "It's a caffe latte."

LD: "What's that? Coffee and milk."

Starbucks employee: "Yes."

LD: "Oh my gosh! Who would have thought! It's milk and coffee, mixed together! We've gotta go there, sit down, have a doughnut, have a bagel!"

Also, this scene...

I think its funny, because the situational things he acts on the show, are things that people would think about doing, we just never would do.

Like the 3 wood thing in the casket - its something that if we were in the position, we would probably think about doing that, just never act on it. So he just takes things like that - things people would think about doing, but he will just do them.

What’s interesting is the show is completely unscripted. No dialog is written. Larry sets a premise and they roll camera. They’re all great improve comedians and know their characters well enough to riff in ‘their voice’ and within the premise Larry has set.

I'm a few episodes in, the improv is what stands out as the genius of the show so far. Good stuff!

Once Curb began when you go back and watch Seinfeld you can tell the episodes that LD had a heavy influence on.

"master of his domain", all the phobia's.

I know some people find it to offensive or don't like him (his character).

But to me his humor is priceless. In a way the roots go all the way back to WC Fields. Who by the way I loved.

Curb is phenomenal. I won’t miss an episode and know a lot of them by heart.

Really enjoying this season so far

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Just watched episode three.

There are always moments in Curb where I just burst out. Can not control the laughter.

Great therapy for anyone. I look forward to each episode.

Great fun when you find something that you get entertainment from.

Often when I watch an episode I find myself thinking about it for days. In how it was woven and ties together.

The situations LD presents and his way of handling them are over the top.

No comedy show on any form of tv has been as funny IMO.

Some HBO specials on stand up are great as well but they are not a series.

Curb stands alone.
