Skunked again

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Color me surprised all over again.

So our draft picks double as our comps as well it seems.

We do get the Texans 3rd round pick after the Duke trade at least

I'd be curious to see how many compensatory picks each team has gotten over the years....I feel like we rarely get any...

We usually sign more higher value free agents than we lose, which is the reverse of the formula for how teams get extra picks.

I’d think these have more value now since they can be traded

You actually have to lose people more valuable than the people you bring in.... that isn't a situation that typically happens in Cleveland.

Is that based on the year prior or this offseason though?

Yeah, we blew threw a lot of draft capital over two drafts ... not that it hasn’t happened before lol

If we come away with a starting OT, LB and some depth at DT/S I’m happy

No doubt. A 5th round compensatory pick along with your 4th to get a late 3rd is better than a 5th round pick.

Just an example. Add the numbers any way you like. I agree.

It certainly doesn't stack up to past couple drafts, but between the talent available in FA and the draft, it should be enough to field a very talented team.

We had holes last year, but the main issue was coaching and culture. I feel we've already addressed the glaring issues (we made the moves, have to see if it works out with KS).

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

I'm just not sure how high he can count.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Well, yes. . . .but with linemen it can take awhile.

Sorry, Greg.

At least the Steelers got something for Le'Veons departure. And, oh yes, Minkah Fitzpatrick from the Dolphins.
