I would say Baker probably has good reason to not like him.

So, that means Grossi should not have access to Berea? LOL

Did I say that? Or did you attempt to put words in my mouth?

I did.
Trooper asked if the browns could bar him (grossi) from the building.

Someone asked why.

You replied "because Baker doesn't like him." (grossi)

And I replied: Baker probably has good reason to not like him. (grossi)

Baker has alot of pull and cache.he insisted on
Fatboy Fred to the be HC.
I'm sure he can make sure Grossi can't enter the headquarters in Berea.

I'll say it... I'm surprised he's back and back so quickly. I assumed 'indefinite suspension' meant fired and really didn't think twice about it. I mean... I would've laughed at anyone who said (at the time) that he'd be back in 2 weeks. "Indefinite suspension" usually has a hefty weight to it.

Oh well. I do look forward to the day when we no longer have the opportunity to discuss Grossi, but that day isn't today.

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

You are such a musical snob.

Don’t you see the little Irish green dude? It’s Leprechaun magic that allows the bum to play from the south side. He probably just finished a bowl of frosted Lucky Charms and his playing is, magically delicious.

Here's my uneducated question. Why is it always played in the left shoulder? I understand design would play a part, but couldn't they essentially make a right handed and left handed version? I assume there are other reasons then.

Good question. Enquiring minds want to know, especially those of us that are left-handed. I have a lefty guitar but I can't have a lefty violin? Sounds like a violation of my civil rights!

Is this image on another thread as well?

I can't believe the elitist racism on display here...

Wickersham reports that Brown, who declined to comment on the matter to Wickersham, “didn’t think Haslam was being disrespectful with the Obama nickname, even if it caused others to cringe.” (Brown, like Barack Obama, attended Harvard Law School.)

So, Sashi Brown.. the recipient of Jimmy's alleged insensitivity didn't take it as an insult or to be derogatory.

But all the woke folks here either A) think Sashi should have been offended if not for himself but for the other people who "cringed" or B) was too stupid to know he should have been offended.

There's some interesting things about the Wickersham article, but it was clearly written with a predetermined agenda and all the examples throughout were not presented in full, only enough to "support" the predetermined agenda.

A full presentation of the "Obama" moniker would have included more background about how it came to be. For all anyone knows Obama was a huge hero or icon for Berry. OR maybe Berry is uber conservative and not a fan, but he and Jimmy talk politics on the side and its a friendly jab. I credit Wickersham for allegedly asking Brown about it, but when Brown says Jimmy wasn't being disrespectful.. that's the end of it.

Berry is highly intelligent, well educated, and has quite the professional reputation. I'd be shocked to find out if he honestly couldn't tell that he was being ridiculed to the point that he returns to the organization.....

Welcome back Knox

When I was just starting out, I begged my teacher to left me play 'switch-hitter.' My 9-yr old rationale: "all the action happens on the fingerboard, and I'm right-handed.

Uncle Bert assured me it would be okay.
Turns out, he was right.
Doing all that fast stuff in the left hand is child's play. The music is made in the right hand. That bow travel, the way we manipulate our grip, the change of bow speed/pressure... it's the soul of the music.

Our right hands are the singer's breath, the trumpet player's column of air. It took me all of 1 year to see how much our traditions were dictated by the predominance of right-handed people.

On the rarest of occasions, a player will grow up and advance playing "goofy-footed." They almost never rise to the level of steady employment in traditional ensembles. One in a half-million or so, I'd guess.

Reverse stringing is much more prevalent on guitars.
