Anybody think it is enough punishment to deter them? Or is just the cost of doing business in the NFL?

Filming us of all clubs? rofl

If there’s no 2020 season will they move the punishment of not filming to 2021?

Not making excuses for the Patriots, but what did they do that a fan with a phone couldn't do from the stands?

To add to that...............was it the Pats or a broadcast team? Also, does anyone really believe that the Pats needed more info on the the freaking Bengals to beat them? LOL

Only thing I can think of is the quality of the videos..

I think maybe...just maybe...it was not an isolated incident.

I think it's funny that they got caught cheating again...and the penalty got less severe. So NFL.

I think the (lack of) severity of the penalty has a lot to do with not tarnishing BB's image at what we could assume is the near closing of his career. If it was a younger, maybe not quite as successful of a coach I think it would be more severe.

Right, anyone could record the sideline to pick up signals, but it's not a big deal if you or I do it. It's a big deal if the Patriots do it (well, mild deal since the penalty was a slap on the wrist).

I think it's bullpoop that Bill claims he didn't know. Who else would want the Bengals signals? The coaching staff would want them and he's in charge of the coaching staff. Therefore, it's Bill.

I know the Pats are the NFL's favorite franchise and the NFL doesn't want any bad press, but this is crap.

Yeah, I'd think it would be KC with the Mahomes phenomena. Where did I put that "NFL Favorites" list?

Edit: How did that "I know..." quote get attributed to me? I didn't write that! Punchsmack did.

How about this just to play Devil's Advocate... could it be that the scouts involved could have been doing it to show BB their "genius"? Essentially cheating to pad their resume so that they could pull one over on Bill in order to gain position or status?

I just don't see how much Spying was involved as opposed to getting their own film for preparation. ??? Please educate me on this, thanks in advance.

Patriots Film Crew 1: What do you think that hand signal was Freddie just did?

Patriots Film Crew 2: Not sure, either it was 'Draw play' or 'Bring me a sandwich'

I don’t get it either. But they should have to give that 3rd round pick to the Browns. brownie
