As of now weather is going to be 22mph winds and rain. Really going to need the run game in this one. Johnson may need to carry a bigger load than usual. Looking forward to seeing how he does

That is actually kinda great because their greatest threat to us was their passing game. If the weather takes that away a bit, that is more of a bonus for us than them.

One thing I think is necessary...it would be nice to see the rest of our DL step up in pass rushing. Vernon needs to show up. So does Larry O. Vernon is an underachier.

Couldn't agree more about that game . We got screwed on the spot as well as the fumble recovery. I'd like to see us get calls like that in a close game. NEVER!!! You mean like when DPJ pushed off on the game winning touchdown last week? Excuse me?

That is actually kinda great because their greatest threat to us was their passing game. If the weather takes that away a bit, that is more of a bonus for us than them. I live maybe 4 miles south of the lake, and the winds in my back yard are already blowing and gusting pretty strongly and everything is chill and damp. If this keep up, the running game will be at a premium. The team that gets away with big plays in the passing game will have a BIG advantage.

Game forecast is for wind 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40mph.
You don't throw long in wind like that.
So look for short passing plays with heavy running. Along with screens etc. all to compensate for the high wind.
This will accent the turnovers. Wet ball fumbles. High wind int's. Tips. Bad footing.
This game now good be all about the defenses. Along with who can run the ball.
This is a weather game. Field goals will be rough to make.
What team will deal with the conditions best?

Back in the day, we could easily call it Home Field advantage, but the reality is that we have so much turnover here on a year-to-year basis that our home turf is more familiar to some opponents than it is ourselves.

Back in the day, we could easily call it Home Field advantage, but the reality is that we have so much turnover here on a year-to-year basis that our home turf is more familiar to some opponents than it is ourselves. Traveling east and playing at in the morning Nevada time is the biggest 'home field' advantage we have this week. The weather may help us too as long as we are disciplined. 
The more things change the more they stay the same.
