Tyrann Mathieu tests positive for covid.
https://www.kmbc.com/article/kansas-city...9-list/37457212

Chiefs safety Tyrann Mathieu was placed on the Covid list for a positive test not a close contact.
It is not known if he's been vaccinated.
The Chiefs are 95% vaccinated at least

10 days 14 hours before kickoff.

This is a big loss for them if he misses our game.

It looks like he’ll be good to return on the Saturday before our game, unless he still has symptoms

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Wasn't he the helmet to helmet hitter on Higgins at the end of the first half last January?

He won't. And one of their podcaters is confident he's vaccinated. Unknown.
I'm more worried about, any Browns who may interact in close contact with him.

Chiefs' Linebacker (Willie Gay?) has a toe injury which they won't get in to, but I'd guess he's no more than 50/50.

https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2021/9/1/...responding-move

They talk like 3rd or 4th Wr Marcus Kemp who had 87 yards and a Td in pre season, would make it back to the roster in a move before kickoff.

The Chiefs will have 3 new faces, (but solid?) next to each other on the right side of their OL.
They kept 4 TE's on their roster and have a fullback.
(copy catting much?)

They also have 10 OL on their roster, (imagine that) but 2 have talk of injuries, that they talk like will both be ready for week 1, (pfft). If one of them is a Hernia, I doubt it.

The only Hit I remember is when TakiTaki Wrenched Mahommes neck, and left him punch drunk, on a short yards to gain play,

Which I worry they'll have to watch out that the Chiefs' don't try to target TakiTaki for some kind of revenge.

I think they really have to respect their rookie Center, (even though he's a rookie), Creed Humphrey whom the Browns should have, or even about every team in the NFL should have tried to draft, because he's probably going to be really really good. frown

That was Mac Wilson and it was a perfectly legal hit.

No Way it was Wilson. Are you sure about that? I remember it as Taki.
Oh it Was a legal hit/ wrenching of the neck tackle grab. But his team, the other team won't think so, they'll be looking for payback.

I'm pretty dang sure it was, TakiTaki, I don't have it in front of me. (Couldn't have been Wilson.)

I forgot how visibly out of it he was after that hit. Oof.

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.
