Now for the top five. Number 1 will be the last one I mention.

Pats
Chiefs
Rams
Chargers
Saints

Bottom 5 in no particular order

Skins
Giants
Bucs
Cards
'Phins

Bengals are a huge question mark and can easily be added into the bottom 5. Esp as Green is now hurt.

Not sure about my top 5 in either category but I don't think it would be an awful bet to say the Giants will be picking number 1 next year.

I know SuperBrown is being silly and I think in our hearts we all want the Browns to be in the top 5. Hell, on paper they probably are. However, realistically they need to win and beat really good teams to prove that they deserve to be listed in present company.

I'm still not a believer in Mitch. I think his success last year was alot of smoke and mirrors.

That's sort of where I am - I am not a believer in Mitch. But he's good enough to win lots of games with that team.

This is a BIG year for my boy ... he was extremely INCONSISTENT last year .... hard to judge him due to the fact Fox handcuffed him his rookie year and last year was the 1st year in Nagy’s O ...

We’ll learn an awful lot about my boy THIS YEAR ...

This is where I’m at too ... just don’t see the consistency in Trubisky to rely on them

I’ve actually written it a few times ... decided to wait ... your not gonna like it ... try not to *L* to hard ..

1. Browns .... *L* ... its what i honest to god believe in my heart ... go ahead .. *L*,i know u want to .. thumbsup ... i can make the case, its not some homer BS ... i’m Still not used to being optimistic much less the most optimistic ... after years of being a pessimistic negative nance i’m not comfie with it yet .. *L* ...

2. Pats ... they’ve lost some talent but that never seems to matter ... Billicheck IMO is the best ever ... he will beat u with his or yours .... he’s that good ...

Your gonna love the next three .. *L* ..

3. Colts ... a lot of good young talent .. A LOT .. the chargers would be here if MG wasn’t holding out ... i obviously like the colts a lot more than most ...

4. Eagles ... they finally have a RB and a deep threat ... not a fan of Jackson’s but he needs to be accounted for .. sumptin they have never had a deep threat ... also really like there 2nd TE .... i like this team and I have no clue why teams are so high on NO ... they also have a big holdout but i see this one getting resolved in the short term as opposed to MG’s .. Thomas is holding out right now ..

I’m almost embarrassed to say this one and u know i don't embarrass so it must be real bad ... but its how i feel ...

5. Jags ... that D can still ball ... with Foles and IF Fournette has his head right .. they got a shot ...

Not many reply to me anymore .. that could be a good thing with that list ... *LOL* ...

As for the worst ... we’re FINALLY NOT ONE OF THEM so i pay no attention to that end of the spectrum ...

All i’ll Say about that .. CINCI IS GONNA BE HORRIBLE this year ... with or w/o AJ ...

Aren’t u glad u asked ... thumbsup

I agree that the Jags are a sleeper with Foles. 2 years ago, with better QB play they are in the Super Bowl.

As I said above as well...I think on paper the Browns are top 5, but they have to prove it before they are listed in company of Pats/Chiefs/Rams/Saints etc. AND, I am not even sold on Chiefs missing Hunt and possibly Hill (what's the latest on him?). Let's see how Mahomes does if he loses both.

EDIT: Chargers could be dangerous esp for the Chiefs.

Of course I am glad. I don't have a problem w/alternative opinions.

I don't think your list is bad. I had the Eagles and Pats in my top five and I considered the Colts. I wouldn't put the Jags up there right now, but I think they can be a big surprise team this year.

Their D is real and that team had internal issues due to the qb thing.

Thanks for playing. thumbsup

True.

I also want to mention that the Chiefs were a play away from beating the Pats in AFC Championship game when the refs thew a late flag for Dee Ford lining up offsides on the opposite side of the field.

U don’t think losing hunt will be a decent downgrade for that O? ...

Why not ....

Hill escaped with no suspension somehow ... its complete and utter BS IMO but they didn’t ask me ... *L* ...

I thought losing Hunt hurt them last year. But again, they were a play away from beating New England and that is w/out Hunt.

I expect their defense to be much better this year. I think a lot of their problems involved scheme.

I also think they have the best qb in the league. I think he even has "maybe" surpassed Rodgers. I think their WRs are good and Kelce is the best TE in the game. Their OL does a pretty good job and RBs are one of--if not the--easiest positions to find.

I could be wrong. It's just a silly prediction because there isn't much to talk about right now.

Were getting really really close ... for now my excitement has turned into fright ... very worried about injuries in TC ... i never wish time away but i literally can’t wait for 9/8 ... been counting the days since 10 seconds after Bake through the pick that ended the stilers season (positive spin on the L ... *L* ) ...

So u think Spags will help the d that much? ...

I don’t think they missed Hunt last year near as much as they will this year ... Williams did a very good job replacing him last year ... this year its for an entire season .... thats an entirely different story ... plus they don’t have ware or himself as backups ... Hyde is the man now ... big time downgrade there ...

I could be WAY WRONG on them ... I could be Bradyesque wrong on that one ... *L* ...

We’ll see ... as long as i’m right about the browns ... i’m fine completely missing on everything else .. thumbsup

Jags are a sleeper I agree. They have a big upgrade at QB and a motivated team with talent

The only part I could possibly disagree is including the Jets. They lost their QB to mono... if not for that, they definitely wouldn't be there. As soon as they get him back, they'll be out of the bottom 5. I think teams who's suckiness are of a more permanent nature are more deserving to be on there.

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Interesting you have the Bills top 5. They are looking pretty tough. I might not put them top 5, but they are looking close.

I considered the Bills top 5 too, though I dont think their O warrants it.

They play at Tennessee this week and I anticipate that’ll be a slobber knocker

They lost to the Pats by one score, after losing their QB to a concussion. They are 5th in points allowed, and only allowed 16 to the Pats, who hadn't scored less than 30 in any game to that point.

I am still not 100% sold on Allen, but they have player really well thus far.
