I would stick with the Saints if I were you. Don't get sucked in if you can still avoid it.
Funny, but true.
caju, a lot of stuff went wrong. Too many personalities and me-first players. A coach who was in over his head and couldn't handle said players. Lack of discipline on both sides of the ball. An ill-advised partnership between head coach and offensive coordinator. The brawl that led to Myles Garrett's suspension. The end of season rebellion.
I'm skipping over a lot of things but you get the idea.
This is a great summary.
I'll add a little more...
A lazy attitude going into the season. It was all fun & games because the expectation from top to bottom was that this was going to be easy.
All chemistry destroyed on offense with the addition of OBJ... It made a WR in Perriman "expendable", he was a "go-to" the previous season. It helped put Baker's favorite receiver, Higgins, in the dawg house. We cut another dependable TE in Fells, then Baker hung Njoku out to dry in game 1 and he was, in essence, lost for the season. Callaway was off smoking a joint and laughing at the whole thing. Without Landry, we may be talking top five pick in the draft.
OBJ was still being told where to line up week 14
Freddy did his best to
always tip off the defense to his play calls, especially on crucial plays.
Baker became a fastball pitcher with bad mechanics and bad decisions.
The defense
folded after Myles flipped his lid.
Leadership sucked from the top down and did little to right the ship at any and every detour.
