This guy, D.J Hayden out of Houston, almost died recently. In the article it says he tore a vein in his heart which doctors called "95 percent fatal", survived it, battled back in training, then comes out and runs a 4.33 40 at his pro day. Wow.

I love players that show they can overcome adversity like this. It seems as the the tear was a fluke injury and not due to any genetic disorder so he's cleared to play. Might be a good corner to pickup in the 3rd round if we don't land Milliner in the 1st.

Would also be fun to have Haden and Hayden as our corners :-P

I understand that he had a freakish injury with a torn vein in his heart, 95% fatal. Thank God he recovered. I wasn't able to find much tape on him but the UCLA game and the JUCO highlight videos I saw were impressive. Good back pedal, good breaks on the ball, good anticipation on where the QB is going with the ball, displayed the ability to press, very physical in his pass breakups and solid, willing tackler. It would be nice if a lot of teams got scared off of him due to his medical and he were available in the 3rd. If that doesn't happen then he's another top corner that could push other good CB prospects down draft boards and one of them, Gratz, Hawthorne, Alford, etc., might fall to the Browns. I did like what I saw though. Reports are he ran a 4.3 somthing at his pro-day.

We wouldn't know who gave up the freakin touch down. Cynical, I know. And of course we would know, but, just sayin.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.
