Nate Orchard - LB - Bills
Bills signed DE Nate Orchard, formerly of the Browns, to a one-year contract.
Orchard was one of the main characters on this summer's Hard Knocks featuring the Browns but was ultimately part of final cuts. The 2015 second-round pick has never developed as a pass rusher but gets a change of scenery.

Happy for Nate. Good guy!
good for him. Hoping he plays well
I figured he would latch on somewhere.
Yeah, he really came across as a nice guy and great teammate on HK.
I though we might bring him back while Ogbah was out, guess not.

I'm happy for Nate. I don't think I've ever seen Browns fans so collectively happy to see a guy latch on somewhere else. Speaks volumes of Nate's character. He's just the type of guy you want to see have success, even if it's not with us.
Cheerin' for him the whole way. Best of luck.
Good for Orchard. Wish him the best.

Not to mention a fine family man.. I was pulling for him but I get it.
I usually don't care what happens to a player once they leave here .... but I have to admit that Hard Knocks really created a soft spot in my heart for Orchard. He seems like a great husband and father, and I hope he manages a nice career.
Ditto.
For all the crap characters that get the headlines in the NFL, there are a ton of guys like Orchard that are just good, happy family men living their dream, and I'm happy one of ours gets to keep that going a little longer.
Bests wishes, Nate (except when you play Cleveland)!

How long is he out? Not that he makes much a difference when he is in there

Orchard is a guy that's hard not to like. Hard Knocks often helps separate the wheat from the chaff in that regard. For the most part I usually wish our players the best when they leave. But in this case even more than usual.
I liked Orchard but he seemed a step slower than everyone else.
Go get 'em Nate. I'm pulling for ya!
funny we get rid of three defensive starters who quickly find jobs elsewhere and our run defense takes a plunge. I don't think it's a coincidence.
Without Ogbah, we'll see how the new DL we picked up contribute

3 defensive starters? Outside of trading shelton, who were the other starters?
Regardless, I think our front 7 will do a better job of containing the run.
Good luck to him, but I wish he was here. I get it. This is a role model-type who didn't lower our bar. Thanks for your work!
Good news. I like nate a lot. I think he has talent, just needs to put it together with a little better technique and upstairs.
Go get em bud.
Glad for him but I never liked him as a player ... JMHO
Nate may be a nice guy and I'm glad he caught on with someone but when He was here I didn't hear many good things about him. Regardless, good luck Nate!

Because there weren't many good things to have been said. As a 3-4 LB or 4-3 end.
Just glad he got picked up by someone. He seems like one of the good guys. Gotta pull for him in hoping that he does well.
