Sitting at home making $12,000/ week to watch NFL Red Zone on Sundays? He might coach HS or something but this is a pretty sweet deal.

I love that we have a front office that is willing to do outside the box stuff.

Rosen doesn't have the mental fortitude to be an NFL QB. Talent isn't the issue.

He thinks he is "too smart" to be a football player.

I liked Rosen early in the 2018 draft process and then quickly turned sour on him after listening to him speak. The guy is 100% a LA silver spoon douche bag.

Adrian Peterson to Detroit..."Peterson’s 898 yards in 2019 would have led the Lions in any of the past six seasons."

Tale of irony. Corey Coleman was released by the Giants. Then Damion Ratley was signed.
A Browns draft bust replaced by former Browns bum.
Daniel Jones has a trainwreck of a offense around.him.

LOL........Last night, I think it was clwb419 who predicted that the Bengals would sign Seibert and he would beat us w/a late FG.

I mean it's funny to even think about, because that would be such a Browns thing.

i didnt see he predicted that ... pretty astute! Haha and totally fathomable

The Browns, once again, have a great opportunity for a new low... "The kick" can live in infamy as the Browns lose on a last second field goal by a kicker they cut three days before.

If this happens, I may just have to accept our eternal fate and turn in my fan card lol.

Remember how everyone keeps saying every year "it can't get any worse".

We keep forgetting about all these scenarios that we haven't even fathomed.

The odds of this one happening are high. It's the Browns.

Seibert kicks go ahead FG with :53 to go. Baker leads a hurry up drive to give Parkey a shot at the GW 32 yard FG with 3 seconds left on the clock. Parkey blasts one off the right upright. No good. Bengals win.

The double whammy.

My head hurts.
Posted By: cfrs15 Re: Free Agency Part IV - 09/15/20 05:25 PM
They better get really close to the uprights so Seibert has a chance to make.

I look forward to Jojo Natson being able to return a kickoff or two this week if Seibert is playing.

I'll go with this... if and only if the play that leads to our FG attempt is the infamous Baker-shovel-pass-back-to-himself and it results in a huge completion to put us in range.

You have to take the fans to the pinnacle of "dark days are behind us" before you bring the hammer smashing down.

Posted By: Bull_Dawg Re: Free Agency Part IV - 09/15/20 09:18 PM
I think it's as much about them being curious about what our special teams are doing after the fake punt attempt as it is about his ability to kick.

Good move. Solid back who will be a good fill in for Barkley.

At least as a backup WR, kick returner, but The decision has not been made yet about punt returner.

He is in the mix for punt returns if they don't think Jones is ready.

D'Ernest is the backup Punt Returner, but the #3 Kick Returner.
Peoples-Jones is the backup Kick Returner, but the #3 Punt returner.

Natson was the starter at both spots.
We will likely see both D'Ernest and DPJ regularly, now.

For as good as he is, and for a position that's not the easiest to fill in the NFL... for 2 teams to go, "nah, thanks" is saying something.

Especially since it's safe to assume he knows he needs to "slow his roll" and endear himself to any suitors at this point.

We just needed a guy who can reliably catch punts.

When Switzer was in college I thought he was going to be the next great slot receiver. He never panned out.

He flashed a bit in Pittsburgh, but I think he had too many critical drops and I think some fumbles, but I could be wrong about the fumbles.
