That might turn out to be a great fit for Rosen.
Sitting at home making $12,000/ week to watch NFL Red Zone on Sundays? He might coach HS or something but this is a pretty sweet deal.
According to sources informed of the talks, the Saints didn't feel they could compete financially with the Titans' offer – $12 million, plus $3 million in incentives – given budgetary reasons. So, they approached another team to find a workaround. (Sources didn't confirm the other team, which hereafter is referred to as "Team X", but it is believed to be the Cleveland Browns, who have ample cap space and a front office known for having a propensity for creativity, most memorably on display in their 2016 trade for quarterback Brock Osweiler.)
https://www.nfl.com/news/inside-wild-bac...adeveon-clowneyI love that we have a front office that is willing to do outside the box stuff.
Rosen doesn't have the mental fortitude to be an NFL QB. Talent isn't the issue.
He thinks he is "too smart" to be a football player.
I liked Rosen early in the 2018 draft process and then quickly turned sour on him after listening to him speak. The guy is 100% a LA silver spoon douche bag.

I remember Bill Polian's reaction to the Osweiler trade. Hilarious.
So true. Tennis prodigy - acts and plays like it.

Adrian Peterson to Detroit..."Peterson’s 898 yards in 2019 would have led the Lions in any of the past six seasons."

Glad he found a spot that might give him a shot.
Just another guy to beat.
Tale of irony. Corey Coleman was released by the Giants. Then Damion Ratley was signed.
A Browns draft bust replaced by former Browns bum.
Daniel Jones has a trainwreck of a offense around.him.

Teaming up with former Brown C.J. Board
I forgot about Board haha. He was a TC favorite
Interested to see where this pass-catching RB's contract falls with Zeke's last year and CMC's this offseason.
I'm hoping to read this about Chubb next year.
Quality player and human being. Love rooting for him.
Cool for Hopkins. I think it's also cool he did the deal himself.
He doesn't have an agent?
Why give up the agent's fee?
I'm just asking a question!
Is that a problem?
There are always a few players that do this.

Not at all. I just answered your question. I do hope that's not a problem.
.
Same post from MKC as Grateful's.
I guess all our good players sign with Houston these days.
Jackpot! Will he needed to be tested, like drugs or corona-virus? Because coaching from a recliner is sweet.
I remain a Josh fan.
okay ... we all know how this is going to end
okay ... we all know how this is going to end
LOL........Last night, I think it was clwb419 who predicted that the Bengals would sign Seibert and he would beat us w/a late FG.
I mean it's funny to even think about, because that would be such a Browns thing.

i didnt see he predicted that ... pretty astute! Haha and totally fathomable
The Browns, once again, have a great opportunity for a new low... "The kick" can live in infamy as the Browns lose on a last second field goal by a kicker they cut three days before.
If this happens, I may just have to accept our eternal fate and turn in my fan card lol.

Remember how everyone keeps saying every year "it can't get any worse".
We keep forgetting about all these scenarios that we haven't even fathomed.
The odds of this one happening are high. It's the Browns.

Seibert kicks go ahead FG with :53 to go. Baker leads a hurry up drive to give Parkey a shot at the GW 32 yard FG with 3 seconds left on the clock. Parkey blasts one off the right upright. No good. Bengals win.
The double whammy.
They better get really close to the uprights so Seibert has a chance to make.
I look forward to Jojo Natson being able to return a kickoff or two this week if Seibert is playing.

I'll go with this...
if and only if the play that leads to our FG attempt is the infamous Baker-shovel-pass-back-to-himself and it results in a huge completion to put us in range.
You have to take the fans to the pinnacle of "dark days are behind us" before you bring the hammer smashing down.
Just as I said when we drafted the kid..... big mistake drafting him and cutting Gonzo
I think it's as much about them being curious about what our special teams are doing after the fake punt attempt as it is about his ability to kick.
Good move. He should not have been unemployed.
Good move. He should not have been unemployed.
Good move. Solid back who will be a good fill in for Barkley.
He may be better than Barkley.
Barkley is very underwhelming to me, especially as a runner.

Honestly, was Ratley all that bad..
yes - 1 good play is all i recall.
I thought he was still with the broncos? Guess not.
I thought he was still with the broncos? Guess not.
T.J. Ward has not been with the Broncos since 2016 and has been out of the league for the last two seasons.
Oh..........guess I ought to keep up.
Just sticking this in here as we talk about replacements. Who goes in for Jo Jo Natson? Not sure about who might be wanted/ needed or moved up. I was hoping to see more of him.
(Apologies Damonshot; not hijacking your stuff. I just read this and hoped somebody might know.)
Donavan Peoples-Jones should be the next man up.
If we somehow end up with a winning record this season, it will be a miracle. We are so close, but there are so many obstacles to overcome...
Donavan Peoples-Jones should be the next man up.
yeah, seems like he’s gonna get his chance
Donavan Peoples-Jones should be the next man up.
At least as a backup WR, kick returner, but The decision has not been made yet about punt returner.
What about DaErnest Johnson or whatever his name is?
What about DaErnest Johnson or whatever his name is?
yeah he returned the punt after Natson was injured. He fell down and didn’t inspire much confidence haha. But he might be the guy
That is why I asked. Seems to me that we had stacked a number of hats on him for a number of things. I hope Peoples-Jones can step up and be a star. I might still be shopping. Thanks!
What about DaErnest Johnson or whatever his name is?
He is in the mix for punt returns if they don't think Jones is ready.
D'Ernest is the backup Punt Returner, but the #3 Kick Returner.
Peoples-Jones is the backup Kick Returner, but the #3 Punt returner.
Natson was the starter at both spots.
We will likely see both D'Ernest and DPJ regularly, now.
For as good as he is, and for a position that's not the easiest to fill in the NFL... for 2 teams to go, "nah, thanks" is saying something.
Especially since it's safe to assume he knows he needs to "slow his roll" and endear himself to any suitors at this point.
Wow, seriously... it was almost a foregone conclusion that he was signing with them. He must have walked in and punched the receptionist.
Thanx! That makes sense. I might still be looking for a burner, but we need a Sunday solution.
Maybe they don’t think he can get up to speed for this week but want to get him in the building. We’ll see if he gets promoted next week.
We’ve signed Ryan Switzer (WR - Steelers) to the practice squad ... I kinda like it

He was their returner for a couple years. Guessing it provides depth there, and he was an ok receiver.
We’ve signed Ryan Switzer (WR - Steelers) to the practice squad ... I kinda like it
We just needed a guy who can reliably catch punts.
When Switzer was in college I thought he was going to be the next great slot receiver. He never panned out.
He flashed a bit in Pittsburgh, but I think he had too many critical drops and I think some fumbles, but I could be wrong about the fumbles.
We just needed a guy who can reliably catch punts.
"The Jim Leonhard"

He was a Cowboy before he was a Steeler.

Gonna be a HC some day. I imagine he's heir apparent in Wisconsin, but could get hired away before then.

He was a Cowboy before he was a Steeler. he was drafted by Cowboys... traded to Raiders... then was a steeler before we picked him up...
