The last time a total solar eclipse darkened anywhere in Ohio was in 1806 and it won't happen again in Cleveland until 2444.

I already have hotels booked in Cleveland, Evansville, Ind, Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Dallas, Tx. I will monitor the weather as we get close to stick with one and cancel the others.

I hope Cleveland is clear. I know the place to go there. Never been to Poplar Bluff and haven't been to the others more than a few times to know the best spots. I guess just set up in the hotel parking lot if nothing else stands out on local search.

Schools around here are cancelling stuff for that day. Defiance OH has been planning for thousands of people to (out of towners/out of staters) to be there.

My bro and sis in law are coming from Colorado. Staying with us for a few days.
