Did they really think it wise to schedule this game at 8:00 PM?
Its bright and Sunny there right now and still only 23 degrees!

If ever a 1:00 start was needed it would have been this game!

GB wins this one and injuries abound.

Aaron Rodgers is too good. He will have a monster game and lead them to a super bowl

No disrespect to Joe Webb, but how am I supposed to believe that he's going to trump Aaron Rodgers in any way in this game? Nope. Packers win this one and go deep in the playoffs.

They must've known something; it's 29 now.

Watch how much push a real run-blocking line gets...

I guess that last play was Joe Webb doing his best Colt impression.

Is this a snark shot at the Browns o-line because of Trent being criticized?
Posted By: OverToad Re: MN v GB - 01/06/13 01:31 AM
This is criticism at our offensive line because they aren't very good at opening holes, but it's more about fans who only watch Browns football which haven't experienced seeing what a really good run-blocking line looks like.

Every RB who was the featured runner this year had very little success. Meanwhile, the Vikings have the perfect combination of a dominant RB who gets to run behind a dominant run-blocking line.

Hey did you guys know Joe Webb ran a 4.4 40 yard dash?

I was just making sure cause I didn't know if anyone knew.

Joe Webb. 4.4 40.

Just making sure.

What?! When did you hear THAT?! I thought it was a big secret. I hadn't heard!

How come he isn't a Raider?!

Oh and did you see those WR's blocking down field something a certain coach says is very important?

Webb doesn't know where to go with the ball, and when he does, he doesn't seem to know how to get it there.

Didn't Webb play a little last year and do pretty well? Or the year before?
Posted By: ThatGuy Re: MN v GB - 01/06/13 02:56 AM
Offense gets a penalty for 12 men in the huddle.

But I thought 12 men had to be on the field DURING the play for it to be called on the defense? Why was Minnesota penalized if they play hadn't been run yet?

Posted By: OverToad Re: MN v GB - 01/06/13 02:59 AM
The play doesn't have to be run. At any point when the 12th man is considered in the huddle it's a penalty.

You'll always see offensive huddles where one guy sits outside the huddle waiting, just in case.

In the words of the great Jim Ross

SOMEBODY STOP THE DAMN MATCH

I know.

I'm asking about defense.

I hope this ends any debate on running vs passing in today's league.
Posted By: OverToad Re: MN v GB - 01/06/13 03:21 AM
Paragraph break. I used the offensive visual as an example. Same thing on defense. If he gets in the huddle it's a penalty.

This Packers/Vikings game is looking as if it's an Anyone/Browns game.

We had maybe 2 games that looked that bad. I expected it even before I know webb was playing.

Umm ...... so how much push did they get? It was certainly far, far less than last week, that's for sure.

Not to worry he will watch the all 22 and let us all know what went wrong.
