Season is kicking off w/a great rivalry game. Da Bears vs the Pack.
Let's get it on!!!!
love a classic rivalry game to start the season!
Great job w/the National Anthem. Love it!!!
good lord these linebackers for the bears are so fast
bears o line not looking to good to start
Bears D: Aaron Rodgers who?
yea bro, two possessions now, and the packers o line can barely get leverage on the bears front 7. so much speed, and mack is just straight up running through their line.
Pettine signing.
Guy got a raw deal here.
LOL at the cheering for a 38 successful FG.
LOL at the cheering for a 38 successful FG.
Baby steps.
Pineiro giveth and then he taketh away.
He’s looked average for a while now.
He’s looked average for a while now.
I've been saying it the last two or three years but people always say he's the best in the league.
As much as I like opening night, it’s also a bit of a downer because we get to see the commercials that will be replayed 100’s of times the next 17 weeks.
He’s looked average for a while now.
I've been saying it the last two or three years but people always say he's the best in the league.
I think it’s those broken clavicles (each side).
I always loved watching Rodgers play. In his prime, the guy was a magician.
I don't think he's in his prime anymore. Granted, he doesn't have a whole lot of support, but he certainly looks like he's declined himself.
Either they are afraid of Trubisky passing the ball or he's afraid to pass the ball.
This is a defensive battle ... both fronts are amped up right now
Trubisky always gets all this hype but whenever I watch him I’m like meh. He’s barely average
should've been a pick.
what kind of lazy ass throw was that?
Trubisky...........Yikes on that throw.
That should have been picked. What was Trubisky thinking?
Rodgers with the first TD of the season
Jimmy graham opens up with a TD
Whenever I watch teams that use TE effectively and see how much it takes pressure off everyone, I wish we had better TEs. Outside of RG easily the weakest group. What’s funny is we usually have serviceable TEs. Njoku needs to show he can play between the 20s this year. I’m curious to see how Freddy uses them
That long throw by Rodgers look strange to anyone? Like if you looked at the release it should have went a lot farther
Rodgers has fallen into some bad habits with his footwork. Even on simple screens he is arm throwing. He is not getting aligned with his feet.
He looks like he is playing second base. I have seen this guy play exceptionally. But he is getting away from basics.
That long throw by Rodgers look strange to anyone? Like if you looked at the release it should have went a lot farther
I had the same thought.
I agree actually ... he like short arms it and flings it ... like he’s worried about he rush
He is not short-arming it. LOL
He is using all arm. His footwork was poor. He did not have a solid base under him and just used all arm to throw the ball.
That little dump off was nice.
I wasn’t talking about that throw in particular, but you’re correct on that one yes
He is not short-arming it. LOL
He is using all arm. His footwork was poor. He did not have a solid base under him and just used all arm to throw the ball.
The bears need trubisky to step it up
The bears need trubisky to step it up
Or step aside.
The Savage cat looks good.
I love seeing those clips of old coaches
The sack was his fault, too. He stepped right into it.
And yes about the almost pick. It seems like he doesn't read coverages very well.
so far, i like the refs allowing some very physical battles between receivers and the secondary without throwing flags.
Season is kicking off w/a great rivalry game. Da Bears vs the Pack.
Let's get it on!!!!
Yep, Yep, and you know what would make it really great, Al Micheals taking an everloving Vacation.
In 1990, I was ...
And all these years since,.. Every time there is a big football game.
BAM! there he is, like a...
That's a lot of years to hate this guys broadcasts.
Cheerio!
so far, i like the refs allowing some very physical battles between receivers and the secondary without throwing flags.
Good.
The bears need trubisky to step it up
I feel like, the Bears are the future, the Packers are the past, in this matchup.
Yep, Trub doesn't see the field very well.
we must be watching different games. if youre talking just defense then sure, i guess.
Have you read his posts lately?
Rodgers could not look more uninterested in talking to Lafleur.
LOL
Trubisky has some slow eyes
LOL...............Rodgers throws the Hail Mary. Dude does it his way.
Dang swish, new supra looks dope.
Dang swish, new supra looks dope.
you mean the BMW's alternate version of the Z4.
Bmw pretty much built the supra. but for sure it looks really good
its always been odd to me when we start talking about how good QB's are when they get the ball out of their hands quickly.
aren't most QB's fairly good when they arent forced to think and read defenses?
what happens when QB's actually have to dissect the defense? thats a whole new level that trubisky and some others havent come close to doing.
Yep a lot of great 1 read qbs now working at car washes
Jimmy Graham looks better than he has in past years
Y'all have no ironic I find your and lead's comments to be. But, I'll let it go. LOL
The bears need trubisky to step it up
I feel like, the Bears are the future, the Packers are the past, in this matchup.
I disagree. I think the Bears take a step back this year and the Packers take a step forward.
Wow Bakhtiari just got annihilated ... don’t see that often ... the Bears front is getting after it
That #94 dude has jacked a couple of o-linemen tonight.
Both these qbs look like they didn’t play in preseason
something tells me there's more mack jerseys in the stands than Trubisky jerseys
That last play was an example of a playcaller out-thinking himself. Dumb as dumb can be.
Man, not sure about Trubisky.
Playcalling very conservative.
They don't trust him.
He’s holding the team back at this point
What? They should have ran it on that play instead of attempting a pass.
What? They should have ran it on that play instead of attempting a pass.
I agree.
Take my comments and apply them to the game in general.
that sack is all on rodgers. how you move that slow in a no huddle.
Yes, it was on Rodgers and the WRs. Dudes were probably not open. That's one of those plays where the OL gets blamed for the failures of others that I have been trying to talk about lately.
lol, 10 guys on the field AND a delay of game.
Nagy is a dumb ass for not giving Montgomery more reps. This cat has talent.
Williams had a great play on the sideline. I don't know why more DBs don't do everything they can to shove the WR out of bounds before he can get both feet down in that kind of situations.
horrible throw. had dude open. just deliver it accurately and you got the 1st
Why did the Bears go for it on fourth and ten instead of kicking fifty yard field goal?
Nagy does some good things offensively, but his in-game coaching decisions are probably the worst in the league.
Why did the Bears go for it on fourth and ten instead of kicking fifty yard field goal?
Emotional scars from double doink?
Maybe, but Nagy always make dumb in-game decisions.
where's my guy throwing the ball?
Broadcasters starting to clown on Trubisky.
I'm getting the feeling that someone is going to "lose" this game rather than "win" this game.
whoa. ok guys we got our first PI challenge of the season!
Trubisky makes some beautiful throws like three times a game.
That was a stupid challenge!!!
This is where we need an additional 15-yard penalty if you challenge a PI and lose.
I'm glad we had four pre-season games to get these teams ready to play at peak performance.
lol Gabriel!!
Oh snap comes back!!
Man this is about the most boring game. Neither team looks ready at all
This is my fear that we will look like this since we didn’t play our starters much in preseason either
I’m just hoping this game comes down to a Chicago FG.
well, if this game is any indication for what the rest of the league sees on sunday, guaranteed something about the preseason is gonna be a big issue.
this is not the product you want to see the first game of the season.
Maybe those two particular teams just suck.
Maybe those two particular teams just suck.
thats also a valid possibility
Maybe those two particular teams just suck.
I think both offenses suck. Their defenses are playing well.
Maybe those two particular teams just suck.
thats also a valid possibility
They might have two very good defenses too.
I don't think so. Bears were in the playoffs last year and both teams have pretty high expectations.
I think the 4 preseason game thing is a waste of time. Be rid of it. I say that because it's so long that coaches are now just doing everything they can to get through TC healthy.
this horrible time mismanagement from both offenses is hurting my soul
I think the 4 preseason game thing is a waste of time. Be rid of it. I say that because it's so long that coaches are now just doing everything they can to get through TC healthy.
I think we saw the death of the preseason this year. I think we'll get one or two joint practices like we had with the Colts instead with scrimmages at the stadium to end the week.
I'm hoping this is true. I've been wishing for it to happen for years. I agree w/you that this is our best chance yet.
Ok, do the Bears tie it up?
I’m calling “loss of downs”.
Ok, do the Bears tie it up?
I’m calling “loss of downs”.
I'm guessing an across his body arm punt.
This review should be overturned in less than 5 seconds.
But no, we have to go to commercial. Boo!
Yuck. What a terrible pass.
That's your third and ten play with a TD needed to tie?
picked.
well, bears have all 3 TO's so maybe there's still hope?
picked.
well, bears have all 3 TO's so maybe there's still hope?
Even if they get the ball back they still have Mr. Biscuit at QB.
It was, but it was an even worse call. You had two plays to get a first down and you throw into the endzone against double coverage? Completely ignorant. If anything, you want to take as much time off the clock as possible and not give A-Aron time to move the ball down the field.
Williams had a great play on the sideline. I don't know why more DBs don't do everything they can to shove the WR out of bounds before he can get both feet down in that kind of situations.
While the idea was good, I feel like Tramon got there early. I was kind of surprised it wasn't challenged.
Another dumb call. Why throw it there?
Lafluer looks in way over his head. Like some kid who was good F madden and got the chance to coach for real
I'm wondering that also. Isn't GB ahead?
That looked like Rodgers' call at the line. Normally I say pass and end it for good but if you run the clock down you are punting to Mr. Biscuit with less than a minute left and no timeouts.
yo what is this guy looking at?
Well, I'm glad I didn't draft any position players from that game.
well, that was underwhelming
What a garbage performance by Trubs.
Best of luck to Pettine. I always liked him.
That was embarrassing.
2 yard gain
Horrible overthrow
Too tall throw
Sack
Bears’ drives tonight:
12 yards, punt
16 yards, FG
25 yards, punt
34 yards, punt
12 yards, punt
0 yards, punt
2 yards, punt
9 yards, punt
47 yards, downs
23 yards, punt
59 yards, INT
-11 yards, downs

That was seriously one of the worst NFL football games I have ever seen.
I hope we aren't as discombobulated as those 2 teams on Sunday.
That was a horrendous football game lol ... especially on offense obviously. I just don’t see “it” from Trubisky; he simply can’t pass consistently enough and the Bears play callers know it.
Even GB’s offense looked bad. Maybe chalk it up to no reps during preseason?
Bad way to start the year from a football standpoint
Sixteen baseball teams outscored the Bears on Thursday. - ESPN stat.

I have a feeling your going to see a lot of games like that this weekend. Sloppy, inconsistent, and just poor performance. NO ONE played in the preseason, and it shows.
As much as I hate the preseason, it looks like at this point a necessity to get these teams ready. Even one of the best QBs to have ever done it looked lost. Poor footwork, poor mechanics, and just bad throws by Arod tonight. Goes to show you. Even the best get rusty.
Sixteen baseball teams outscored the Bears on Thursday. - ESPN stat.
LOL
Also, sixteen fans watched baseball last night. - MakeBelieve stat.
One amendment to how poor the game was is that both those defenses are pretty damn good.
Agreed ... the first quarter of the game the defenses consumed the offenses
One amendment to how poor the game was is that both those defenses are pretty damn good.
Lol SB Nation: "Can't wait for the NFL season to start Sunday."
Tramon Williams said they wanted to make Trubisky play quarterback. Ouch.
Lol thats a pretty damning game plan
Tramon Williams said they wanted to make Trubisky play quarterback. Ouch.
j/c:
Yea, it was a pretty bad game. Flat & kinda dead.
Yeah, it looks like they’re using Cohen near the line of scrimmage to get it out of Trubisky’s hands quickly
I think we call him Genard Avery.
I think we call him Genard Avery.
Roquan Smith is more of a traditional inside/middle linebacker. Genard Avery is barely a linebacker at all.
Roquan Smith is the guy I wanted us to take with the #4 overall pick.
Can't say that I am disappointed with the Denzel Ward pick.
j/c
I watched the Bears/Packers game last night. Trubisky took a big step forward from 2017 to 2018. But if last night was any indication, he won't be taking that same step forward this year.
I saw it posted how this may have been a game about two very good D's, but I disagree. I certainly feel that the Packers D will be better with Pettine there but I don't see them as anything more than middle of the road on D. I just don't see the wealth of talent to launch them any further than that.
Chicago did a nice job of holding them to 10 points but it was the Chicago O, or lack there of, that gave the game to the Packers. It was simply a putrid performance on the part of the Chicago O.
For teams employing new coaches and systems, I think we'll see a lot of that early on. Combined with the teams that just have poor QB's.
i like all the subtle shots Rodgers took at the HC during the post game.
Trubisky didn't really take a step forward last year.
i like all the subtle shots Rodgers took at the HC during the post game.
He looked completely annoyed just talking to him on the sideline.
jc
so what game looks like a likely upset?
I'm going Panthers over Rams

I agree with your take on GB def. I don't think its bad, but I don't think its as good as it looked. I think that's more of the bears offense being, well putrid.
I do disagree that Mitch took a giant step. I think his numbers were inflated by that great def getting him a lot of chances and a dink and dunk gameplan that didn't allow for him to turn the ball over much. I could complete 67% of my passes too if all did was dump the ball to a RB or a wr 5 yards on a curl.
I have a good buddy that's a bears fan and I watched a lot of their games last year - I told him then MT would keep this def out a SB. He is late on 90% of this throws, doesn't see open receivers downfield (or just doesn't even look downfield). I think Nagy gets a lot of the credit for the year he had last year simply because of the game plan more so than Mitch talents.
I didn't see the post game stuff, nor did I see any of the sideline stuff, but I saw the coach give a brief interview in the tunnel before the game and he struck me as a total wanker; the kind of guy that expects respect but hasn't earned anything; that thinks more of himself than he has earned.
Yeah, I guess a "giant step" was overstating it. But compared to his putrid rookie year there was definitely some improvement.
Random: Tim Tebow has giant gorilla arms.
You shouldn't have backed down. Trubisky's QBR in 2017 was 29th in the league. It sky-rocketed to 3rd last year. That is a HUGE jump.
And I also agree that he looked putrid last night.
jc
so what game looks like a likely upset?
I'm going Panthers over Rams
Army over Michigan,
Seriously, saw it on the bottom screen crawl 2 hours before gametime, and I couldn't get my mind to not think, A whole army, sounds like a whole army vs the Michigan team,
Anyway, Army was up 14-7 last check.
I’m wondering if AB is trying to sign with Denver for Monday night haha

Sometimes people just have their minds made up and even facts won't change it. In times such as those I've found there are instances that it's just not worth the effort.
I bet he asks for his trade/release after week 1
lmfao, yep, the nfl is back!!!
what is this man wearing lolololol
The Jets with a very Brownsy loss. Win the turnover battle by four, lose by one.
Barkley is so freaking good
Ravens put up 59? Holy crap!
Looking around, there are many good teams ... we aren’t good enough to be undisciplined or not on our A game to beat a lot of teams
Everyone was bashing the Bengals, Giants, etc ... and both of them are competitive with contenders
Dallas has Dak, Zeke, Witten, Darwin, Gallup, Cooper, and Cobb.
and looking great so far
The Jets with a very Brownsy loss. Win the turnover battle by four, lose by one.
And they missed an extra point.
Yeah, Dallas is flying around here
so far in the 1st half, kyler murray looks like ass cheese
Bengals up on Seahawks at half
Bengals up on Seahawks at half
Browns last place in AFC North coming up?
hopefully the steelers join us tonight
Sooner than later it appears
Bengals up on Seahawks at half
Browns last place in AFC North coming up?
Baltimore was getting dogged by posters all off-season, but check out some of these numbers:
Won 59 to 10.
Jackson was 17 for 20 for 324 yds, 5 TDs and 0 picks.
Ingram had 14 carries for 107 yds and 2 TDS
M. Brown had 4 catches for 147 yds and 2 TDs
Andrews had 8 for 108 and a TD.
It was Miami, but might be time to give them the respect they deserve.
Baltimore was incredible today ... and Lamar/that offense is dynamic

I think this was a combination of a seasoned coach and staff with a lot of continuity going against a team that is clearly tanking with players who are probably half trying.
That being said I'm not one of those guys who's down on Jackson or Baltimore.
Meanwhile Cincy with rookie head coach playing their ass off and look exponentially better than us
Dallas looks GOOD offensively
Cincy gave all Seattle they could handle today. Dalton looks a lot better under this coach
Bengals far better than the Browns today. It hurts my soul to post that fact.
Murray is TINY. He’s less than 5’9 if he’s an inch
I don’t know how that wasn’t pass interference on Sherman against Evans
This is why what the raiders did with AB was so bad
AZ came back to tie up. After a lions coached called time out that negated a Stanford first down.. man
Bengals just gave the Hawks a run for their money.
Seattle is the hardest place to win.
Dalton looked good and that was without AJ Gr
Anybody that has the Browns sweeping them or anybody in the North Needs
to rethink that
Murray just threw a dime to fitz
Murray just threw a dime to fitz
Someone needs to tell Murray he is short and played in the Big 12. It's not supposed to work this way!
Beautiful pass by Murray to get it
Lol yeah, that’s not what we want to hear today
Zane is going to end up kicking the game winner.
A little more salt in the wound.
Murray’s height bites him in the butt
Haden just got blown up by Gordon.
Maybe they’ve got a guard or tackle that wants out.
Jamie Collins just made a great play
I don't know who's going to stop the Pats.
Great O, great D, great coach, great QB.
Unless Brady's age causes some steep decline, they are just too much.
Other than being in the same conference as the Browns, I'm not one of those that mind the Patriots winning. I like Bill and Tom.
But I just don't see how they are going to be stopped.
And I'll add … Brady is so smart.
Pit has a really good D. Brady gets to the line, determines what the Steeler D is trying to stop on that play and simply audibles to a play that is the exact perfect counter to the Steeler D. So impressive.
It really is incredible to watch ... they get you in such bad mismatches and make your offense play you so left handed ... SO tough to beat
Maybe they’ve got a guard or tackle that wants out.
PFF rated the Dolphins the worst O-line in the league.........before they traded Tunsil.
Maybe they’ve got a guard or tackle that wants out.
PFF rated the Dolphins the worst O-line in the league.........before they traded Tunsil.
could they really be worse than what we saw today
The Dolphins are picking the wrong year to tank.
And you’re going to add AB to this team....
AB gonna turn that team into a crap show.
He carves up the 10 yards for a first down into manageable chunks then expects his playmakers to execute. It's a thing of beauty.
He carves up the 10 yards for a first down into manageable chunks then expects his playmakers to execute. It's a thing of beauty.
It really is.
Hard not to admire and respect that team, IMO.
I can't wait until we smash him into a bleeding pulp of hip fractures and concussions all on the same play.
The Dolphins are picking the wrong year to tank.
You're assuming they're only doing it for one year.
Remember we did it twice. Got the DE then the QB the next.
Big Ben only has 33 more passing yards than Julian Edelman at the half
Speaking of which, Myles had little to no impact on today’s game. I barely even noticed he played
Pats are putting it on the Steelers.
How can the Patriots be this good.
I don't understand this at all.
Burkhead looks like Barry Sanders!
Way too early snap decision ........
The Pats will win #7 this season.
I think when bill retires they should rename the Lombardi. Greatest coach of all time. And we fired him lol
How can the Patriots be this good.
I don't understand this at all.
They dont have to play against the refs like the rest of us do.
Maybe they’ve got a guard or tackle that wants out.
Ok so who looked worse week 1:
Us, dolphins, or Steelers?
I guess my moral victory for the week is that we aren’t the only ones who got stomped by 30+
Classic Belichick, up 33-3 with 6 seconds left and using a timeout.
Ok so who looked worse week 1:
Us, dolphins, or Steelers?
Dolphins
Browns
Steelers
We definitely are one of the few teams that deserve an F this week .. Dolphins, Steelers, and us. All three got embarrassed.
Of course, the Steelers have the biggest excuse being in Foxboro against the champs.
Ok so who looked worse week 1:
Us, dolphins, or Steelers?
Us. Dolphins were supposed to be bad, Steelers playing the champs at their house when they raised a banner, we played at home and got stomped.
Obviously the Dolphins looked the worst, but as you said, they were supposed to be bad (maybe not 60-10 bad LOL).
Who laid the biggest egg? Us by a long shot
I think when bill retires they should rename the Lombardi. Greatest coach of all time. And we fired him lol
Technically, it was Baltimore that fired him, not Cleveland.
if the team would have stayed modell would have given in to fans and fired him. Semantics. He was vilified here for doing BB things because of perceived treatment of Bernie. Back then he was still new and it was abhorrent. But now looking back its clear, its just him.. no cares given
j/c:
I want to comment on New England's OL. I don't think they are very good. I am not really knocking them, but McDaniels draws up a lot of plays where the ball is coming out in 1.8 to 2.1 seconds. Brady also does a great job of reading the defense pre-snap and will check into a play that beats the blitz, thus the ball comes out quick. When the first read isn't open, Brady goes through his progressions very quickly.
j/c:
I watched the first half of the Patriots/Steelers game, but that's all I'm gonna watch since it I already know the score, it wasn't competitive and I simply don't have the time.
At the very least we weren't the only team to get beaten up yesterday.
Kirk Cousins only had ten pass attempts yesterday and the Vikings won 28-12.
I remember everyone trying to tell me Trubisky was better than Watson.
Lolololol uh huh.
I've come to take my medicine. 2 awful games yesterday, both losses by 30 points. On to next week.
Our medicine is the same dosage this week
I've come to take my medicine. 2 awful games yesterday, both losses by 30 points. On to next week.
The aints have some serious holes on defense
This seems like a very fast game; both teams seem to be faster than we are. Maybe the turf has something to do with it?
Entertaining thus far though
Lol good lord Hopkins thought he was in wrestlemania
I remember everyone trying to tell me Trubisky was better than Watson.
Lolololol uh huh.
Watson looks very good - this is an enjoyable game and I'm sort of rooting for both teams at the same time. After they were robbed last year, hard not to wish the Saints well. Kamara is on my fantasy team ... so that's another reason
Was waiting for him to jump on a bench and do “you can’t see me”
LOL.............and he was pointing afterwards that NO was going to be penalized.
This has been a pretty good game. Much better than ours.
Brees' arm is getting weaker, but the dude gets rid of the ball so quickly.
Kamarra is what I envision hunt being for us
Kamara is so dang shifty and so good with his routes
Last year all the prime time games were boring, this year starting pretty good here
Booger is not very good. He's talking like he's still in the Booger mobile. Slow down and talk to the audience, not at them. You're not in the Booger mobile anymore splitting time with two other guys.
This game is a lesson in momentum shifts.
Big time .. this place is deafening right now. Houston’s OL looks quite bad too
This game is a lesson in momentum shifts.
the texans defense is so bad
That was a great run by Kamara.
He’s very impressive. That was like Barry Sanders-esque ... He’s a perfect fit for their team
That was a great run by Kamara.
Duuukkeee.
Love Duke. Wish we still had him.
I love Duke Johnson and I hate that we got Kareem Hunt to replace him.
And the Houston OL can’t hold up
watson still holds the ball too long
I'm a big Duke fan - but Hunt is a better football player. I think having him fresh second half of the season (assuming this ship gets turned around quick) will be a very good deal for us.
Did anyone else see the Texans OL grab the DL by the throat as he was breaking free?
Yeah, Houston's OL isn't that good, but Watson does hold the ball too long. He's been doing better tonight w/that, but in the past, he has held it too long.
I do like the guy, though. He's tough. He is way more accurate than I thought he was. He's a great guy. He just seems like a winner.
I've noticed that a lot of these younger qbs hold the ball too long in the pros. I'm thinking that has a lot to do w/the offenses they run in college where they are schooled in going through multiple progressions quickly.
I'm a big Duke fan - but Hunt is a better football player. I think having him fresh second half of the season (assuming this ship gets turned around quick) will be a very good deal for us.
I know that he is [probably] better than Duke Johnson. It's more about his non-football activities.
DeShaun Watson routinely bails BOB out of horrible decisions.
Watching some of the condensed early games on game pass.
Baltimore looks impressive. Lamar had some great passes and Ingram looks like a good fit. Marquise Brown's foot doesn't seem to be an issue.
Earl Thomas looks healthy and motivated. That defense flies around and will put a hit on people.
Not sure I see a weakness. They are gonna be tough to beat if they stay healthy.
Fitzpatrick took a beating. I'm guessing retirement was sounding pretty good Monday morning.
That's what I want to see from Baker.
A missed PAT nullified by roughing the kicker. Next PAT is good. Didn't look like much contact to me.
Man, the Saints lose in some weird ass ways.
Wow, just an incredible performance here
Great job of managing the clock by Brees. Masterful!
Texans have to just be nauseous
OMG! What a GREAT GAME!!!!
Man, the Saints lose in some weird ass ways.
You mean win?
What a game.
Can you imagine having a Brady/Brees to root for for 15+ years?
Brees is a stud.
Smart. Poised. Ice in his veins.
Can we have that kicker lol (and QB)
That would have been good from 62 or 63.
Can we have that kicker lol (and QB)
Yes, PLEASE!
I just caught the fourth quarter but that was about as exciting an ending as you can get.
No doubt. The final possessions were incredible by each team.
Hell of a kick by Lutz.
What a game.
Can you imagine having a Brady/Brees to root for for 15+ years?
I cannot imagine having a QB of that caliber for 5 years. Don't think the Browns have ever enjoyed 5 straight years of great QB play in the modern era let alone 15.
I believe Baker can be that guy though. We need him to be.
I literally turned the tv on when Houston kicked off with 27 seconds left.
Glad I did.
Drew Brees doing Drew things... great kick....
Denver giving Miami a run for that first pick
Flacco was horrible last year for the Ravens. Now he's on a new team and he's worse.
Why are the Broncos kicking a field goal 21-6 with 8 minutes left? What's the difference between 21-6 and 21-9. Am I missing something? You need two touchdowns either way.
Psssssssssssst
Vic Fangio -- you need a two point conversion.
Joe Flacco has a cap number of $23M next year. If the Broncos cut him they will take on $13.6M in dead money in 2020, $10.2M in 2021, $6.8M in 2022, and $3.4M in 2023. What were they thinking?
I was very underwhelmed by Denver ... they don’t have much going for them at this point. Flacco is about as below average as it gets ... ala Eli Manning at this point

WOW ... just wow.
Elway wtf are you doing man?
I don't think Flacco played that bad. I thought their OC was struggling.

The drive before, HOU down 6, get the kick off with like a minute left, no timeouts. And they get a TD in two plays. I was shocked at the Saints defense there. Torched quickly. Too quickly, it turned out. As you said ... Brees.

There was times where he looked alright and times he looked like the worst QB in the league. It's the Flacco experience.
The worst QB in the league is in Tampa Bay, until proved otherwise.
He scored 21 points for San Francisco on a shocking 3 pick sixes.
Oddly enough, Jimmy G threw a pick 6 in the game as well.

Winston
only had two pick sixes. He had another interception (and two fumbles) that did not result in touchdowns.
Mibad, I thought it was 3.
