I study quarterback play. Just something I have always had a interest in. Kind of a carry over from being a pitching coach.
In watching Brady. He never strays from mechanics. Never. Balance, feet alignment, shoulder alignment, arm slot, hip rotation, weight transfer, follow through. He never varies.
He could never play like Rodgers or Mahomes. Muscle memory would not allow it. He is a master.
I think I saw every start Greg Maddux made while pitching for Atlanta. He is my favorite baseball player. I always marveled at his consistency. His approach to pitching and his mastery of execution.
Brady is the same. What he is doing at his age is remarkable.
Damn...Daryl William's is playing LT, I always thought they were moving Taylor Mouton left and keeping William's as the RT...odd that Greg Little is inactive.

I understand wanting to look cool walking into the stadium (whether he looks cool or not is a different conversation entirely) but I can't imagine putting that thing back on after the game.

Lets hope there is a little ying and yang - Thursday night and Monday night bookend games are polar opposites! And Cleveland (and Jets) are more impressive. I'd say Cam is done. Debating if I should watch the patriots- dolphins game or the seahawks- Steelers game.
I plan to watch the Colts vs Titans game early while I DVR the Steelers game.
A lot of people seemed to be trying to say the Colts would still be a good team and compete for their division. I predicted the Titans would win that division after Luck bailed on them. I mean today's game won't tell that tale but it should be a good indicator.
To me, the Patriots vs Dolphins game will be such a blow out it won't be worth watching. I mean I watched OSU yesterday. One blow out game a week is pretty much my limit.
I still got the Texans winning the division since they won it last year.

As for Cam, his shoulder is injured which strongly effects his game passing and running. Probably should not play.
A lot of old refs I think retired they were pretty good most of them. These new guys, talk about the game being to fast for players, its too fast for the refs. Spotting, I remember the female ref is terrible. But the system for spotting is the worst. You have refs make guesses as they are behind the action and Assume the spot not knowing it 100%.

--Mahommes might end up being one of the best qbs ever. Dude is magical. He makes some bad throws, but dang, his ball placement on most throws is unreal.

I think the reason people aren't as high on Dak is because he sometimes has a tendency to miss really simple throws. Gimme throws that may be difficult for a guy off the street to complete but not a professional QB. He will usually have one or two of these head scratchers a game. He's off to a great start this season however. This is just my opinion based on my own personal observation of watching him over the years.
If I had to rank the three today would go like this...
Wentz
Mayfield
Prescott

I was listening to the SF Cinci game, and the Cinci announcers definitely made it seem like the Bengals gave that game to SF. Bengals really didn't do anything on offense or defense. They were giving mad props to Shanny though, with his playcalling and game prep.
I dunno if I ever actually said Lamar wasn't going to work in the NFL, but I will admit that I thought it really loudly. I'll stick with my original assessment that he's going to flame out until he actually starts playing against legit teams (Dolphins and Cardinals are not), but I'm getting myself ready to admit I was wrong. Definitely seems like Harbaugh has that offense just right for him (his stats look crazy, not a lot of pass attempts, but tons of completions, yards, and points).

After the 1st drive our O couldn’t have performed any worse .... our D played OK up til the mis direction “screen” to Henry ... they didn’t play great but had only given up 13 points til then ...
PENALTIES killed any chance we had ... on the Titans lone TD drive we gave them 4 first downs ... and at least one and more than likely at least two were after 3rd down stops ... both units were guilty of way to many penalties ... way to many ...
G-Rob isn’t very good .... our tackles are lacking ... we knew that going in ... but losing him killed us especially when his back up went down on the next series .... it was like an avalanche ... *L* .... actually it was after the “screen” ... Bake lost it and the D gave up ... there’s no spinning the D was disheartened at some point after that .... maybe it was after the 1st pick, the pick 6 ... who knows but they did give up ... we know Bake didn’t give up, he went the opposite way and pressed ....
The one thing that did bother the heck out of me was Freddies reluctance to adjust .... once we lost our tackles he needed to max protect Bake ... it don’t take a genius to know that yet Freddie did nuttin but keep throwing it all over the yard with no extra blocking .... this is what actually worries me the most ....
I don’t think it was as bad as it felt .... it was UGLY but not as bad as it appeared ....
Well .... excuses or a good synopsis or somewhere in between ....
And we looked so forward to that for so long .... *LOL* ....
