Watching major league two during halftime

I feel like shobert getting tackled killed any chance of scoring a td this game because our offense cannot do it.

Great game plan by the coaches.

We had a poster claiming no one liked Freddie. Looks like the team is playing for him tonight.

I was really hoping Schobert would be able to get in lol for the same reason

I agree, Rish ... the offensive plan is much better, though Baker’s numbers aren’t there.

I also have liked our D using pressure up the gut

This defensive scheme looks a lot like what pats did to them

i dont care if we kick FG's all night, as long as we win!

Using the reason of they made things simple for Baker last year versus this year is no longer valid.

The re do of a 1st and goal after Chubb went in Standing up, got called back by an illegal shift, Baker had waved Landry, or ? into motion and he didn't get re-set by the snap,

The first down play went awry and Baker threw it away at the right side of the end zone, a player dived low for it, but mostly a throwaway.

3rd and Goal from the 2, TD to Demetrius Harris, wide open in the middle back left of the EZ, falling on the catch to the back of the EZ, 2 feed dragged, and he held onto it as he landed out of the back of the end zone.

You do realize that there is no way of knowing if the receiver ran the correct route?

He held the handoff, and forgot to hand it off, or
started to complete the handoff,

The rule is that once the QB gives himself up ..... diving to the ground .... sliding ... anything where he goes to the ground ..... as soon as he gives himself up, he's down.

The QB can't dive and slide for additional yardage. Once he goes to the ground, he's down right there.

Yeah the refs are bad. I’m convinced they are paid to keep scores within point margins for Vegas and Atlantic City. It’s not just the Browns all teams except the Patriots get hosed

Increase talent on O...Offense diminishes...makes sense.

Mayfield sometimes makes me think he isn’t the answer. If his first read is not open he is lost. Back to back sacks guys are open underneath

No one is open in the NFL guys are covered every play. Good QB throw their receivers open, so far Mayfield isn’t throwing anyone open.

I’m willing to wait but I have serious concerns with Mayfield. Mason Rudolph looked better today than Mayfield. Rudolph can actually read a defense something Mayfield has yet to show this year.

In all honesty, this offense kind of reminds me of last year's under Haley. Lots of long, slow developing plays, and with a banged up OL that's not the way to go.

D is trying its best to help us out though.

Remember the NFL history is full of flash in the pan QB, Mayfield breaking a rookie record means nothing. Scott Mitchell, Don Majkowsli, Dante Culpepper, even Derek Anderson. I’m not saying give up on Baker yet but there is reason to be concerned

Someone needs to teach the O-line what a hard count is.

I have lost exact count but I don't think Baker has been under center more than 5 or 6 times total tonight. We are running the air-raid college offense. Shotgun every down. Run only occasionally and never consistently.

Something with the offense needs to change. I don't know what it is but it needs shaken up and now. Whether that's personal changes, play calling or what.

They say the first series of drives or some of them are scripted. There was that one drive where everything looked beautiful, short, crisp passes, runs as well. Who designed those plays?

Well I am proud of the effort from a team missing 8 starters and I believe when we finally decide to make Chubb a focal point of this offense we will be hard to beat ... Playcalling with 1st and goal at the 5 killed us we should have run early we had 3 TO's

At least we have a tough defense. The offense just needs to catch up.

Still hurts...but the D played superb despite all the issues with injuries and going against a high octane 0

I think he's playing hurt since the first game myself.

We dont have the offensive line to run the offense we want to. Dorsey's fatal flaw was while he was out getting all these big names he forgot about the offensive line

Yup. Both our losses are on Baker. Everyone else has done their job

7-9 this year.

So is there any confirmation on what exactly is wrong with the O....system? Or is Baker really this bad, once opponents learned his tendencies?
