JA'WUAN JAMES
T, DENVER BRONCOS

Broncos RT Ja'Wuan James (knee) has been ruled out for the team's Week 9 matchup against the Browns.

James' absence is bad news for the entire offense, particularly Brandon Allen in his NFL debut. Still, the Broncos figure to lean on their run game more than ever. Royce Freeman has played between 47-63% snaps this season; Phillip Lindsay has posted a snap rate in the 40-56% range. Both have RB2-level workloads, but the Broncos' 28th-ranked scoring offense is hardly a fantasy-friendly situation to be involved in. Treat each as upside RB3s in this Week 9 spot at Mile High.

So it looks like we could be without both Beckham and Landry.....so that means higgins and calloway would be the starters correct?

I see it as a good test. Baker and the Online can show they can handle a good D front. The defense gets to show they can stop a run game.

Team needs to reset and build some momentum. Personally, I didn't think they'd come out at the start of the season firing on all cylinders, but I also didn't think they'd struggle as much as they have. I think they need to continue building as a team this whole season. Now that the brutal part of hte schedule is over, I'm looking to see steadily improving football each week. Denver is no pushover, and where they're strong they can cause trouble for our respective sides of the ball.

We weren't going to the superbowl this year, no matter how much the ding dongs in the media were saying. I'm looking for steady improvement each week, and am only starting to see it.
