I like the Glandley pick by Minni.

If we are thinking safety they’re all still on the board

According to NFL.com, only two teams in front of us have Safety listed as a need: Giants and Dolphins
Posted By: Versatile Dog Re: Draft Day Thread cont - 04/24/20 04:14 AM
Can't spell his name, but that LSU RB who KC drafted is a tough dude. Quick cuts. Physical despite not being big. Can catch the ball. Not very good at pass blocking, but KC needed a back.

I would have went w/Dobbins, but that dude is a good fit for KC.

orange Crush you asked me How big do you think Taki Taki and Mack Wilson are?

Taki wasn't a first-round pick (3rd) or a starter and he is 6'1 and 238

Mack Wilson wasn't a first-round pick (5th) or a starter and he is 6'1 233

Patrick Queen is 6'0 a first-round pick, and weighs 229. we will see if he starts.

He'll be starting. The Ravens are the scum of the Earth. And I say this in all confidentiality, but they're a very well run team. They've had a solid FA, and Patrick Queen is a solid addition to a LB core that needed strengthening.

I wish them the absolute worst, but expect them to be our greatest challenge in terms of taking over this division
Posted By: Dawgs4Life Re: Draft Day Thread cont - 04/24/20 09:28 AM
- Patrick Queen to Baltimore angers me .. he’ll do so well there IMO. He’s their type of pick
- Safety (Chinn, Winfield, Delpit, McKinney) would be awesome

By the way ... did anybody see Mike Vrabel’s house haha?

He had a dude with a mullet, another in a costume, and a third taking an open-door dump in eyesight

Is there a up-to-date depth chart for the browns?

They really drafted Rodgers replacement tho

For that pick to work Rodgers needs to be gone in two years. I can’t believe they took a QB.

j/c:

I might be alone in this, but I really enjoyed last night's coverage of the draft. I know some folks were complaining about it on here, but I think things went smoothly for the most part. I also think there was less fluff and we didn't have to waste time w/dumb stuff like walking across the stage, hugging the Commish, and doing the back-stage interviews.
Posted By: Rishuz Re: Draft Day Thread cont - 04/24/20 02:27 PM
I find the hugging of the commish very uncomfortable to watch. Happy to do without that last night.

it was kind of interesting to see them working in the their homes.

in terms of the Packers, it was a pretty big surprise IMO. It’s about 2-3 years too early to make that move, especially for Love who’s such a gamble anyways

It looked weird, but when I heard the explanation it made perfect sense. Nothing wrong with taking the precaution.

Sometimes draft day can bring about not-so-good memories for some.

Loved that guy as a Brown .. very loyal dude

Now that is a cool post.

Is Rodgers' age really a concern? I don't get the feeling that he's approaching his expiration date.

He is a crybaby and a diva, but I kinda get his frustration.
Posted By: Dawgs4Life Re: Draft Day Thread cont - 04/24/20 04:36 PM
Yeah I mean Brees is 4-5 years older and Brady is older than that

Love to the Saints would make more sense than to Green Bay

j/c...

We love the draft.

Other fans love the playoffs and even Super Bowls. We love the draft. LOL...........it's funny and pathetic at the same time.
Posted By: oobernoober Re: Draft Day Thread cont - 04/24/20 05:51 PM
I may love piling on Cinci a little too much, but I think this year was an aberation. They had the top pick and there was THE quarterback available. Also doesn't hurt he's from nearby.
Posted By: Dawgs4Life Re: Draft Day Thread cont - 04/24/20 05:54 PM
I agree ... Burrow was a no-brainer. Even if he fails, nobody can second guess that one
Posted By: PrplPplEater Re: Draft Day Thread cont - 04/24/20 05:55 PM
It was on TV?
Posted By: PrplPplEater Re: Draft Day Thread cont - 04/24/20 06:58 PM
ok, I slept and I woke up... they should be back at this already. Why are we waiting????

Let's get this party going!
