Philly, other than SF, is the most injured team in the league. That would have to suck. Wentz is a guy who makes some dumb decisions because he plays hero ball, but he takes too much criticism given all the injuries the Eagles have. The Giants? LOL...they have the worst GM in the entire NFL.
That INT in the end zone was stupid. High risk, it was only second down and at any rate, make sure you get the FG. Situational football - not very complicated.
Yeah, I was watching him. He was getting owned often. Wirfs is supposed to be doing well, but I saw him get owned by Kalil Mack a couple times. But then who isn't occasionally owned by Mack. I don't know how Becton is doing. All in all, I'm pretty happy with Wills.
Those teams are pretty bad IMO. We easily could lose to either, but we shouldn’t. Especially if Philly loses Lane Johnson and doesn’t get Ertz back (and DeSean is out now too)
I'm watching that game, and the Steelers players are fired up. The enthusiasm level is off the charts. I wish this team could play with that type of passion.
You know what's great about the Pats not playing well? All the crying and whining that's going on listening to local sports talk shows. Boston sports fans have to be the biggest crybabies and fair weather fans in the country. If I'm wrong I'd like to know who's worse. It's like they think they have some entitlement to winning.
whoo hoo hoo hoo , Drew lock, earlier, saw that pressure was going to leat to the pick 6, that was an hour ago.
Just a second ago, oh my gosh if you didn't see, (Welcome to the NFL day for Drew Lock, )
Hilarious, Flee Flicker, Hahaha, you're supposed to tell the Qb, you are going to flee flick the ball back to him,
that's hilarious, that Rb, ran towards the line, knelt nearly down, flee flicked the ball back over Lockes head, the Chiefs were there to pick it up. that may be the funniest football play I've seen in 10 years. whew,
I think he honestly forgot, the Qb, that the ball would come back to him.
So justin herbert is definitely gonna be a top 10 QB in this league. he's has a lot of talent.
After Baker's downfall from his rookie year I'm reluctant to say that about any first year QB. Burrow has a weak arm. At some point that is going to bite him. And Herbert was trash in college. At least I think he was. His success so far is surprising to me.
I think if these guys can put together two good seasons in a row that will count for something. Kinda like Murray is doing this year.
I disagree w/you about Burrow. He does not have a weak arm. He might have the worst OL in the league. He is beating the blitz w/his smarts. He throws accurately. He is very intelligent. The kid is impressing the heck out of me. So is Herbert, but you didn't really dog him.
I know this is kinda weird, but their unis are so ugly more times than not. Tonight's version looks like they washed white cotton w/black, dark gray, and navy clothes in hot water. How the hell do you trot out that color?
They are talking about Larry Fitzgerald right now. The guy has proven to be one of the best WRs of all-time. I think he even more important, he is one of the greatest citizens to ever play in the NFL. Such a class guy. We tend to point out the negatives w/folks, but I think we also need to point out the great dudes. Fitzgerald is one of those guys!!!
This is not something I came up with. I heard it from Orlovsky or one of those guys who break down film on NFL shows. He said Russ is the best deep-ball thrower in the NFL and showed some tape as to why.
Others have agreed. Hassleback did a clip on it a few weeks ago where he showed Wilson's motion. It was one of those science things. It's how he has the front tip of the football way up on the deep ball delivery and it goes real high and then that point turns over and it comes almost straight down. Just like a bomb. I mean, a real bomb. LOL
I started watching for it and sure enough........it's a fact in my eyes.
Man, as someone who has been injured playing football................I loathe seeing bad injuries. People have no idea the stuff that goes through your head.
I think Arizona called that TO after the clock expired.
Secondly, gag job by Gonzalez. They would have been better off just not calling the TO.
Kingsbury iced his own kicker!
Play of the game was after the whistle: Larry Fitzgerald rips the ball out of RB Edmonds hands and sprints to hand it to his Center... so that they can clock the ball with :02 left. RB was on his back; without that, Cards lose.
There was a big debate here in New England whether it was Brady or Belichick that should get the credit for N.E. success. I always believed it was a combination of both. It's really getting to everyone around here that the Pats are struggling and Brady is doing so well. Great listening to local sports radio and here the whining!!!! Love it!!!!
I don't think Cam was ever a great passer. He didn't read coverages well and he wasn't all that accurate. He did possess a huge arm and he was strong as an ox.
He hasn't looked the same since he injured his shoulder a couple of years ago. While never be a really good passer, he is absolutely looking dreadful right now. Some of his passes look like worm burners.
ESPN has been reporting that there won't be a suspension ("sources"). I don't understand the NFL and the strange way they try to show commitment to a cause. How can there not be a suspension for that??

Because it was only Andy Dalton. If it was Russell, Brady, Rodgers, he would get at least 2-3 games for that hit.

I don't really have that much of a problem with Gurley scoring late in that Detroit/Atlanta game. They were losing. I understand it would have been a chip shot, but I would not leave a game up to a kicker if I didn't have to. You should be able to prevent a touchdown after going ahead like that.
I have a bigger problem with the Penn State kid not getting down. They were up 1, and falling down short of the end zone just meant they would have kneeled down a few times, game over. Not the same situation at all.
Cards/Hawks was absolutely bonkers. Kyler Murray is fun to watch. Russell Wilson obviously having an MVP season but didn't play great down the stretch.
DK Metcalf running down Budda Baker was one of the most incredible things I have ever seen.
That was absolutely amazing, especially when you saw him just explode by Russell Wilson on the way.
I don't think they'd ever consider it, just because of how much potential he has as a receiver, but how scary would he look as like a strong safety? With how the league average with scoring just going up and up, being able to make plays with turnovers is becoming crucial.
He's so much fun to watch, especially with a great QB like Russ throwing to him. Russ throws probably the best deep ball in the league so it's such a great fit.
Watching the Bears last night .. their offense is SO bad. I think we’d beat them simply because our O would be bound to score after Garret has 5 strip sacks
I don't like to pile on coaches for play calling and clock management, but Nagy has perhaps been the worst HC I have ever seen at those two things. He blunders are frequent and disturbing.
j/c... yeah that was terrible hitting Dalton like that...almost just as terrible was the Cowboys hohum response to that hit.
I remember Hoyer with us (I think it was him) did the same slide and got killed in the process - I think the refs didn't even throw a flag let alone suspending anyone.
Yes, heard that no suspension just a big fine. wrong message, Larry O against Steelers just shoved a guy and he was suspended two games...smh
Wilson is incredible but I think the CBs took away his deep ball. That was a good game to watch.
Cowboys man do they stink and I know DAK was tearing it up but he wasn't winning games either. And we are not talking playing Steeler Ravens.

I don't think their defense is all that it is cracked up to be. I don't think it's on par with the Steelers.
Don't get me wrong, it's a good defense, but it definitely gets exaggerated because it's the Bears and there is this myth around here that they always have a good defense.

And that offense, yikes.
Mack seems injured to me, too. In fact, he hasn’t been the same since that first game at GB last year ... he DOMINATED it, but since then he’s been GOOD, but not transcendent

Hicks is good too. But man how many former Browwns are on that starting 11? Gipson, Skrine, Mingo... Talented guys, but that is not a top 5 defense at all.
I thought the Rams were better defensively last night. Donald was the best player on the field, as he usually is.
I would be shocked if we don't get Harrison Smith from Minnesota ... JMO
I won't be terribly surprised at all if we don't trade for anyone, unless there is a fire sale. I'm not sure a piece or two here and there will be enough to get us past Baltimore and Pittsburgh.... it will definitely help, but unless we can figure out how to score point on our own against them, it won't matter much.
This is going to sound harsh, but I will stand by this: Matt Nagy is the worst HC to have a winning record right now.
He's terrible. Some of his late-game decisions are mind boggling. Additionally, he has this one philosophy on how to run an offense but he hasn't had the right qb to pull that off. He never adjusted at all. Complete opposite of what Harbaugh and company did in Baltimore.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks so! Totally agree.
