Who would have thought Minnesota would lose 2 in a row after opening 9-0, I do.
This marks about the 25th year they try to over egrandise, telling me Georgia is better than they actually are.
Tua Tagla---- broke a hip, (that's unusual, they did fall on him wrong)
A lady photographer got carted off of the sidelines in the Auburn Georgia game, after taking a knee to the head and going unconscious some minutes, the replay looks like it may not as been as bad of an impact as it could have been.
Clemson is going to Jump over the Buckeyes to number 2, on the "eyeball" test alone.
Top 6 remains the same except Clemson and OSU switch places at 2 and 3 because Clemson beat Wake Forest, who is 7-3, worse than OSU beat Rutgers, who is 2-8.. even though Wake Forest really isn't all that good.. it will probably happen.
Bama as a 1 loss team becomes a lot less attractive without Tua... but they are still Alabama.
With PSU barely beating Indiana and Minnesota losing, the big beneficiary will be #10 Oklahoma who beat #13 Baylor, they will jump a few spots. All OK has left is TCU, OK State, and probably Baylor again.. unless somebody loses, not enough to get back in.
This will only get real interesting if LSU or Ohio State loses at some point..

Not disagreeing with you, but I thought they were supposed to do away with this line of thinking of running up the score on teams to move up in the polls now? Although I believe it still happens.
In the long run it doesn't matter to me, as long as OSU finishes in the top 3 I'm good.
She still had the camera held to her face when the guy hit her and looks like he shoved the camera into her face. That's gotta hurt. Glad to hear she's okay. Probably has a black eye, or two.
You're right. I've bumped into things with a camera up to my face, and you probably have too. When tracking a subject, you're oblivious (and blind) to anything else around. She probably didn't even see that coming.

Yep. He plays for the Sooners.
And we are damned happy about it! _________________________
Yes, yes we are. Of course he kind of put us down 25 points in the first half against Baylor with two fumbles and an interception, but then he led a historic comeback in the second half. Where has the Sooners second half defense been all year? Almost all 3 and outs for Baylor with a fumble and an interception...smh.

Me too but as long as there are people voting, optics and strength of opponent will matter.
Penn State doesn’t look like much of a matchup for OSU.
Still has me worried, Ohio State may have put up 14-0 but Psu has pretty muched denyed them 10-14 more,
A fumble to change the Td to a touchback A breakup of a catch in the end zone near the end of the 2nd and a sack to stop any field goal or points on the last "last" plays of the half.

So this is a more competitive game so far.
Buckeyes just made it 21-0 on the first drive of the 2nd half.
Here's my all time favorite pump video for the game. It's from the 2004 game following Tressel's only loss to them and where our total domination began.
This game has everything. Third and goal, a lineman bats the pass back to the quarterback, who catches it and runs, only to be tackled by that same lineman. 4th and goal, they missed the kick by doinking it off the uprights.
If Georgia wins they’re in ... if they lose they’re out Utah needs Georgia to lose The other 3 teams are set IMO
I think that is pretty much it right there, although Oklahoma makes a decent case.
OSU and LSU could lose and probably still get in the playoff. I think if Clemson loses they don't get in.
Interested to see what the rankings will be. How far does Alabama drop? They should drop quite a bit if you ask me. No wins against the top 25.
How far do teams like Wisconsin and Oklahoma move up? Both of those temas beat a ranked opponent just yesterday, and Wisconsin has other wins in the top 25 too.
While I'm not a fan of MSU, this little article kind of brought out the sensitive side of me. I feel for the young man, and wish him the best in the future.
If you have a minute, click on it, read the article, and watch the vid. of him going onto the field for Senior Day.

If Georgia beats LSU Georgia will probably get the 3 seed and LSU falls to #4 seed.
If LSU wins Oklahoma/Baylor winner gets the #4 seed.
At this point you gotta be psyched if you’re one of those big 12 teams. I think LSU takes care of Georgua too. I don’t trust that team in any kind of big game lol
While I will admit to a little selfishness in my desires for the Sooners, I do not like the Sooners more than the Browns. OU could lose to Texas every year and as long as the Browns were respectable to good, I’d be fine.
Gotta love Army-Navy. Army just had an 18 play, 76 yard scoring drive that basically used up the whole first quarter. 7-0, Army. This game may be over by 5PM ET.
Joe Burrow as a Bengal is going to make life hell for us Browns fans. Sucks that guys like him end up on rival teams. Dude us a stud.
More goes into being a good NFL QB than being great in college. WE should know that more than anyone. I fully expect the Bengals (brownslite) to mess that up somehow, or make at the very least - make him sub par.
And other than Ben and Lamar for 1 year - they really haven't. We just have sucked tremendously for a long time.
The Bengals have had Andy (who was nothing special) and before that who?
The Ravens had Flacco (who was nothing special) and before that who? given they seem to have Lamar now.
The Steelers before Ben had a loooottttt of bad Qbs, they just managed with a great defense.
I think its more our failures that make it seem like the other teams have had success.
Clemson RB Travis Etienne has decided to forego the 2020 NFL Draft and return to school for another season. Clemson will once again be loaded next year.
Wow .... that’s a shocker ... he’s REALLY GOOD ... very underrated when he was a sophomore ... I didn’t follow much last year ... so maybe its not the shocker I think it is ... *L* ..
Have not been on here in a while. Wanted to talk about how incredible LSU's run and Joe Burrow's play was.
So happy for Coach O. So deserving. He should have that job for life. He's good for football and he's good for that school.
Burrow is going to be incredible in the NFL. You can just see it. Trying to figure out if a college QB is going to be good at the next level is so hard, but you can really see the potential in Burrow. Obviously the work ethic is such a huge thing. You will be asked to do more than you ever did with your college team, and do it against much better competition, but he really seems like he could do it.
Ohio State will be very good next year, and in the conversation for teams that could make the playoff. I think Justin Fields coming back is obviously huge, and Ryan Day having a rookie season under his belt is great too.
Sucks that football is over (aside from the XFL!) but it was a good run for Ohio State and a great overall season for college football
Big 12 commish: 'It's a little early' to make a decision about 2020 college football schedule The Big Ten's decision to play a conference-only schedule in 2020 surprised some leagues on Thursday
With less than two months until the scheduled start of the 2020 college football season and the coronavirus pandemic raging across the United States, Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby feels "it's a little early" for the league to make a decision about playing a conference-only schedule this year. Instead, Bowlsby says the Big 12 is still considering all available options.
"We need to do what our doctors and our scientists are telling us, which is move slowly ahead and constantly reevaluate," Bowlsby told CBS Sports on Thursday. "The virus is going to decide whether we're ready and able to play."
In fact, Bowlsby was a bit perturbed that the Big Ten announced it will move to a conference-only schedule in 2020 if it plays college football at all this season. The league made that decision after the FBS commissioners met by phone Thursday morning.
"[Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren] never gave any indication that this is what they were going to do," Bowlsby said. "In fact, he told us this morning at some length that he was not going to surprise anybody and that he would get to us in advance."
The Big 12 lost only two Big Ten nonconference games -- Iowa State at Iowa and Maryland at West Virginia -- amid the move.
"The only advantage to [a conference-only schedule] is you can spread the games out over more weeks," Bowlsby said. "It doesn't mean you're going to start your schedule the first week of October. You're going to try to start it on time and spread it out so you have more time to recover and more time to get over outbreaks. For whatever reason, the Big Ten felt like they wanted to go to it right now."
A Big 12 conference-only schedule was developed eight weeks ago by the league as a contingency, Bowlsby said. That doesn't mean the Big 12 is ready to make that move. In fact, a league source portrayed the its stance as, "We want to play as many games as we can."
Don't expect any news from the Big 12 until at least next week. The conference's athletic directors are scheduled to meet on Tuesday during their regularly scheduled call. Bowlsby said that timeline could change if his ADs feel an urgency to speak before then.
Ivy League cancels all sports until at least January
The first few dominoes of college sports have fallen as two conferences of private schools cancelled all fall sports this week.
The Ivy League decided that it wouldn’t play any sports until at least Jan. 1, according to several reports on Wednesday. On Tuesday, the Division III Centennial Conference said that it was cancelling the fall football season, and suspending all fall sports until at least October.
This is basically what happened at the outset of the coronavirus pandemic in March, when the Ivy League canceled its basketball tournament and the NESCAC canceled all spring sports. At the time, both were criticized as premature worrywarts; the rest of American sports followed them eventually.
Both leagues are open to a spring 2021 football season, if the virus allows it. The Ivy League schools — Penn, Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Dartmouth, Cornell, Brown and Columbia — are in the Football Championship Subdivision and Division I for the rest of their sports.
The following Division III schools have also announced they will not compete in the fall, according to the AP: Amherst, Bowdoin, Claremont McKenna, Grinnell, MIT, Morehouse, Mount Holyoke, Pratt Institute, RPI, Sarah Lawrence, Smith, The College of New Jersey, Texas College, UM-Dearborn, UMass-Boston, Wellesley and Williams.
Every college football fan should be weary of the Ivy League decision. They were ahead of the game in March, they attend the Ivy League for a reason.
We need an aggressive approach as a nation, to preserve the football season. We are trending in a bad way.
I personally don't think there will be college football this year. I think the pros have a good shot at it, but I have a hard time believing it's gping to be ok to just have these kids who aren't being paid, out there playing for everyone else's entertainment. It just doesn't seem right.
I'm as big of a junkie for college football as anyone, but I think they shouldn't play until it's ok for colleges to resume normal classes. And I don't mean it some states who don't think this pandemic is a big deal, I mean all the states.
They should really be worrying about the 2021 season.
I appreciate the big ten for going to this only conference play schedule, but that is not going to cut it. Kinda pointless, because I don't think it's going to happen.
It's going to hurt a bunch when September rolls around and we don't have a slate of any games, even the ones where teams are scheduling cupcakes. What I wouldn't give for an Alabama vs Savannah State matchup right now.
They should really be worrying about the 2021 season.
I may be naive, but I think we're going to have a viable vaccine early in 2021, maybe even 2-3 of them. Once that's available, plus any and all treatments that they release in the meantime, will turn the tide on this pandemic. I think 2021 sports, movies and travel will return with the promise of normalcy. Of course, we need to make it there.
We've been in this crapstorm for 5+ months and we need to navigate through another 6+ more months.
I believe we'll be watching a full college football season next year. I'm sure some schools won't be prepared to come back online due to financial debts, but most will be ready.

I hope so. The vaccines would obviously be HUGE.
But man I think we are going to definitely go through the fall and winter with the way things are going now.
I'm actually moving hopefully before the end of next month. Kinda works where we can't really do much other than get together with a few friends, or go to a limited seating restaurant. It will be great to organize a new house on that kinda time.
I have a feeling NFL is going to dominate saturdays and sundays this fall, if there won't be college. that would be amazing. I wonder if they'd consider making the sunday ticket for free to increase exposure since there will be zero attendance revenue generated. might be great in the long run.
Haven't been following this thread so don't know if this was already posted

DE Rousseau, LB Parsons, WR Moore opt out of 2020 season … One of the concerns expressed by many college football observers this summer was that if it started to look like the upcoming season was going to be sort of half-assed because of the coronavirus, then multiple top stars would simply opt out of playing and head straight to draft preparation. That was certainly the case today when three top college stars – Penn State LB Micah Parsons, Miami DE Greg Rousseau and Purdue WR/KR Rondale Moore – all indicated that they will not play this fall and instead will start to prepare for the upcoming draft. Parsons and Rousseau, arguably the two best defensive prospects in the entire 2021 draft class, are both top 5-10 candidates, while the electric Moore is a later first round prospect. At the same time, Auburn senior LB Chandler Wooten also said he won’t play this fall, but will redshirt and try again in 2021.
Its only a matter of time ... to much risk especially when x amount of schools aren’t having in person classes ... letting the kids play football when there’s no in person classes would just beg for millions of losses in law suits from those that contract it ...
Also i don’t know if it was mentioned in here but two of the top if not the top two D players in the country opted out along with a stud O player ...
The two D players are projected top 5 picks now and the O stud is projected mid - late first round ...
It has to happen. You can't have these kids running around on campus.
They are getting scholarship, but they aren't getting paid.
Baseball can stay somewhat apart. Football can't.. Basketball is a close contact sport, but you can play it in a bubble. You stand a chance.
Football, no way. You can't bubble enough fields.
College football is the leader in this thing. I like college football. After the Browns, I don't watch NFL football except maybe playoffs and Super Bowl. Maybe a glance at the Falcons and Titans now and then. I follow then to some degree. They are on local TV, so there is a passing interest. I can watch college football all day on Saturday, from 11 or so until I fall asleep at some point that night. Always the SEC game of the week on CBS, but I don't care who they are. I like college football. To me it's way better than the NFL.
I don't like it, but it needs to be shut down. It just doesn't make sense.
There is CFB on TV tonight. And for NFL Draft fans, there are reasons to watch Central Arkansas vs. Austin Peay (9 pm, ESPN).
#CentralArkansas CB Robert Rochell (#9) is an athletic, lanky cover man with ball skills. Currently projected in 4th-6th round range.
Two other NFL prospects to watch tonight (both currently PFAs):
- UCA EDGE J.W. Jones (#50) is a tad stiff, but strong, active and agile footed. - Austin Peay WR DeAngelo Wilson (#11) is undersized, but quick and productive.
I could see $54.99 against Oklahoma St but against this team sounds a bit high. Perhaps they are banking on appetite to drive demand price, no matter the level of competition.
Favorite moment of this weekends college football games.
E. Kentucky players and coaches wore shirts w/the "Enough is Enough" printed on the back. The coaches left the shirts on during the game.
Marshall won the game by the score of 59 to 0. Rumor has it that E. Kentucky coaches were turning their backs to display their slogan to Marshall during the 4th quarter.
LOL...........I made the last part up, but glad they got destroyed.
If the big 10 isn’t playing by mid October, I’d rather not have a season. No one wants to watch an entire season, playing in 40 degrees and rain, and no shot at a championship.
I respect their decision not to play this year, I’d just like some finality with the decision, in the next week or so.
I've seen 5 minutes of this Clemson vs Wake Forest, game
Uh, Wake Forest, may have the most porous defense I've seen.
So, if there are 3 or 4 players in the defensive backfield, and None of them have a defender within an 8 yard cushion any direction, it's going too easy on them.
Watching these college and NFL games that allow fans, I keep hearing the announcers saying the fans are properly social distanced, but they aren't. There are gaps between groups, but a lot of people in said groups are sitting shoulder to shoulder.

yeah it’s all tough to manage. Here in PA the spectator rules say you must socially distance unless you’re in the same family/household and attend the game together. So unless security is going to be following people home, there’s no way to really manage it.

But he can at least attract Hall of Fame talent to help him try.
According to Joe Cook of WAPT, the new Jackson State head coach has hired a couple of fellow Hall of Famers to his staff, hiring Terrell Owens as his wide receivers coach and Warren Sapp as his defensive line coach.
He’s also hiring Jason Phillips as offensive coordinator, Dennis Thurman as defensive coordinator, Mario Edwards Sr. as defensive backs coach.
He said his staff has been together for months, and is already meeting. He added that they had 84 years of combined NFL playing and coaching experience.
“So everybody can stop texting, calling, tweeting, DMing, trying to get your nephew, uncle, cousin a job, because it’s already done,” Sanders said during his press conference.
Again, it’s impossible to know at this point whether the experiment will work. But as he proved throughout his career, Sanders can at least put on a show which will be worth watching.
UPDATE 2:27 p.m. ET: Sanders denies the report, calling it “ABSOLUTELY WRONG.”
Bo Nix for Auburn drives me nuts. He had a nice pocket, abandons by rolling to the right, and then short-hopped a throw after throwing off his back foot. Pitiful.

Great win for Iowa State and Matt Campbell, while doing it in knock-offs of Perrry High School Fighting Panthers uniforms. Black and white all the way, baby!!!
Glad to see the thugs from Miami get beat down. Their Take Away chain is shaped like a gun and the implications are clear. They also lost their cool and resorted to dirty play once someone actually stood up to them.
The Ole Miss/Alabama game was fun. Lane Kifflin is a good play caller and schemer. Both teams were trading haymakers.
The Texas/Oklahoma game was another crazy game. The Sooners prevailed in 4 OTs.
Georgia is looking pretty good, but Alabama's WRs could give them problems next week.
Good game tonight with BYU vs Houston, Houston up 20-14 early 3rd. Two possible draft eligible QB’s, Zach Wilson and Clayton Tune. So far Tune has looked better imho.
The South Carolina/Auburn game was pretty good. Very chippy. Some of those Auburn guys, especially #21, got into an altercation at the end of almost every play.
Damn, Clemson had 52 points at half time against Georgia Tech. That's freaking nuts.
Liberty dusted Syracuse. I think that is pretty cool.
Man, this review on that is going to decide the Indiana/Penn State game could go either way. Ruling on the field will probably stand, but damn, that is so close.
During the game I’m thinking wow, that TE from Indiana that dropped the pass is going to have nightmares. Then, Penn State doesn’t just fall down before scoring to end the game. That’s coaching. You make sure every player on the field knows not to get into the end zone. Then, what was up with Indiana’s kickoff!?!? What a bizarre game.
I only saw the end. I turned it on when the dude botched the kickoff. That certainly could have cost them the game. Damn, I wish I would have watched more of it. I was watching the Iowa State/OK St game.
Nebraska went for it on 4th and 21 from around their 15 yard line with about 1:30 left. They didn’t get it and just let penn st score. All the RB had to do was fall down before scoring and the game was over. How every player on the field didn’t get that drilled into their head is beyond me. Coaching fail, and Franklin should be chastised for that.
GC. Just watched this Minn vs Mich fooball game and the Touchdown 16 yard run by Minn.
and the Ball comes down right near the line, he almost looks short, the announces thought it should be 1st and goal but no TD. Refs ruled it a TD.
Here's why I love the Refs "stands" the call, I would have ok want to go as far as "confirm" in my book because it was clear, the guy got the ball, right at the edge of the green and white.
And he clearly did not get the ball over the white line into the red painted part, and so , many times in the NFL they'll say no td, first and goal and put the ball way back, a foot back from the line or more
But
I say, anyone who thinks that's not a TD, where can the refs, How can the refs give an honest spot of the ball, and part of the ball isn't hanging into the white line part of the end zone line.
If you can't spot the ball, without some of the ball on the Goal line part of the end zone, then it's a Touchdown.
Think of the, the old days of watching chain markers decide a first down, If the nose of the football touches the bar/stick part of the chain marker, it's a first down
Otherwise the Ref holds up fingers of how much short the nose of the football is from the line to gain.
It's a different situation than the whole, out of bounds in bounds thing.
He may have been short, but Mike Pierira made a good point about whether or not the point of the ball was over the front of the goal line before he hit the ground.
Also, it was just too close to overturn in my opinion. Had the officials called him short, I believe the call would have stood, just as it did w/them ruling it a TD on the field. I think replay got it right.
Undoubtedly, it was one of the closest and important plays[because it decided the game] that you will ever see.
Clemson star quarterback Trevor Lawrence has tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of the No. 1 Tigers' game against Boston College on Saturday, Lawrence and the program announced Thursday night. Lawrence's positive test came on Wednesday after he tested negative on Sunday, Clemson athletic director Dan Radakovich told CBS Sports.
Lawrence will miss Saturday's game, and while his status for next week's showdown with No. 4 Notre Dame is unknown, it appears possible that he could be cleared.
"I have tested positive for COVID-19, and my symptoms have been relatively mild while I'm following the protocol from Clemson and the ACC. The only thing that hurts is missing an opportunity to be with my teammates this weekend and play the game I love," Lawrence said in a statement. "I hate that I can't be there, but I'll be watching from isolation and pulling for our guys while I wait for the opportunity to rejoin the team."
According to ACC guidelines, athletes who test positive must isolate "for at least 10 days from the onset of symptoms/positive test." Until Lawrence returns, the Tigers will likely turn to true freshman DJ Uiagalelei, a five-star prospect from the 2020 recruiting class. Uiagalelei has completed 12-of-19 passes for 102 yards in backup duty this season.
"Trevor has authorized us this evening to announce that he has tested positive for COVID-19 and is now in isolation," Swinney said in a statement. "He is doing well with mild symptoms but will not be available for this week's game against Boston College. While we certainly will miss Trevor, this is an opportunity for other guys to step up and we're excited about competing against a very good BC team on Saturday."

Lawrence is the potential No. 1 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and among the favorites to win the Heisman Trophy this season. The junior has completed 135-of-191 passes for 1,833 yards, 17 touchdowns and just two interceptions while leading Clemson to a 6-0 start. His statistics are especially impressive considering that the Tigers have frequently play reserves in the second half during blowout victories.
It's not the first time Clemson has dealt with COVID-19 issues this year, as the program dealt with outbreaks before the season. But Lawrence will be the most high-profile player in college football to miss game time because of a positive test so far this season.
Following up on the Covid news, as you noted in another thread, the Wisconsin/Nebraska game was cancelled. It won't be made up.
I said this at the time when the Big10 announced they were coming back, but they should have targeted October 17th--at the latest--as their return date. Restarting on the 24th took out any wiggle room they had.
Of all the conferences, I think the SEC got it right. They didn't start on time like the ACC and Big 12, but they didn't wait too long. September 26th starting date allowed them to see what was going on w/the rest of the country and it was early enough to negotiate through the issues that everyone knew were certainly be arising from Covid.
Illinois senior QB Brandon Peters tests positive for COVID-19
With just over an hour before kickoff in the Illinois vs. Purdue game, the Illini announced that senior quarterback Brandon Peters and redshirt freshman tight end Griffin Moore tested positive for COVID-19 and will not play on Saturday. Per Big Ten protocol, both players will be sidelined for 21 days, which started on Thursday when the team learned of the positive results.
Illinois also will be without senior starting center Doug Kramer and kicker James McCourt, who are roommates with Peters. Illinois also is without linebacker Shammond Cooper, defensive end Keith Randolph and quarterback Isaiah Williams, who are roommates with Moore.
With Peters and Williams out, Illinois will start redshirt sophomore Matt Robinson at quarterback on Saturday against Purdue. The Illini are 0-1 on the season after their season-opening blowout loss to Wisconsin last week.
Last season, Peters appeared in 11 games for Illinois, completing 55.3% of his passes for 1,884 yards with 18 touchdowns and eight interceptions. During the Wisconsin game, Peters completed eight of 19 passes for 87 yards with zero touchdowns and zero interceptions.
Robinson (who had five rushing yards last week in a 45-7 loss at Wisconsin) will start his third career game at Illinois.
Robinson, a redshirt sophomore, played extensively in three games last season — all Illinois losses — including two starts. Robinson (54.5 completion rate, 475 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT) relieved Peters (concussion) early in a 40-17 loss at Minnesota helped the Illini come back from a 28-0 deficit against Michigan to get within three points in the second half of a 42-25 loss in which Robinson fumbled twice in fourth quarter. Robinson also started during a disappointing 29-10 loss to Northwestern with the Illini's three top wideouts sidelined with injury.
Michigan is playing very sloppy and undisciplined. Hard to believe this is Harbaugh's 6th season. He's getting outcoached big time in this game.
I'm a Michigan fan and sadly, it's time for Harbaugh to go. His teams never seem to have any emotion or fire. The defense is usually good, but gets beat by any team with speed. The offense has been spotty since he got there and haven't developed a QB yet.
They showed a stat during the game that Harbaugh was 1-5 (now 1-6) at home vs. Michigan State and Ohio State. They've got Indiana, Wisconsin and Penn State coming up. The fans are screaming for Harbaugh's head on the Wolverine forums....hundreds of posts and nobody's taking his side.

I think he's just not really cut out for big time college football. He did wonderful things at Stanford, but he really built that program around a solid win against USC.
I think he could end up back in the NFL if Michigan fires him. If you take away the NFL, where do you even go next after failing at your alma mater? Really tough spot for him.
I am glad we have Kevin Stefanski, I like what I have seen so far. If we didn't have him, I would absolutely love to have him coaching the Browns. I think he's a good coach, just at the college level it's not enough.
I also think Michigan needs to take a real hard look in the mirror. I think there are some things within that program that maybe they are not willing to admit.

michigan goes down huge, now PSU is getting their arse handed to them by Maryland. 35-7 end of the 3rd. What is going on in the B1G? How can those teams look so bad? It's not a fluke, it's multiple games. Harbaugh and Franklin should be running for their lives. They've both been in power long enough where these players are all their recruits. Their draft classes were good, so they have the talent.
Down goes Clemson... hell of a game.... I wouldn't be surprised if Clemson stays in top three... goes to 2 OT at the #4 team in the nation without your QB.... hell of a game...
I turned off the game when ND failed on 4th down, after that pass interference flag was picked up. I turned it back on when I checked the score and ND had the ball again. I got to see the deep pass. From there, great game.
Those two sacks in OT were crazy. They couldn’t get to him all game.

I figure they will drop to four behind Bama, Notre Dame, and Ohio State.
Hopefully they make their way into the top 25, after the Michigan loss we don't have one left on our schedule until the Big 10 title game.
Indiana is ranked 13th. They’re scrappy. The Bucks better show up to play in two weeks.
I don't think enough is being made of Indiana after today. I get that Michigan is a big name, but I think Indiana might just be a pretty good team, and I agree that is going to be a battle when OSU plays em.
j/c: I had the ND/Clemson game on my second TV while watching the Ohio State game. It really was an exceptional game. And I loved the social distancing during and after the game.

Jim Leonhard is the DC for Wisconsin. He is a rising star in coaching circles.
But it wasn't so long ago, 2014, that he was a Cleveland Brown. Mike Pettine was the HC, and he had coached Leonhard the previous year when both were with the Buffalo Bills, Pettine as DC. 2014 was the last year of Jim's NFL (player) career, and Mike brought him to Cleveland because he was smart, knew Pettine's defensive system, and could act as kind of an on-field coach for the other players learning the system.
Jim started coaching as an assistant at his alma mater Wisconsin in 2016. He was promoted to DC the following year, and was a finalist for assistant coach of the year. His Badger defense has been among the best in college football every year since.
Starting soon, he is going to either be a college HC, or he's going back to the NFL.
- Florida is legit. Their offense is scary good. - Michigan is hot garbage. Tough to think Harbaugh lasts the offseason - Penn State 0-4? Wow - It seems like defense has gone by the wayside in a lot of conferences

He was Pettine's Sendejo, just not hilariously awful.

yeah Leonhard was below average, but not horrific. Sendejo is literally horrific
Wisconsin and Minnesota have played every year. For 113 years. This year, they won’t play.
Via ESPN.com, Saturday’s game between Minnesota and Wisconsin has been canceled, after Minnesota paused all team activities in response to COVID-19 cases in the program.
The game, which decides the possessor of the Paul Bunyan Trophy, will be ruled a no contest, and it won’t be rescheduled.
The two schools met every year from 1907 through 2019. It’s the third cancellation of the season for Wisconsin.
It’s just the latest twist in an unpredictable college season that has seen plenty of canceled games. In contract, the NFL has made it through 11 full weeks with all games played.
Things will get no easier in the aftermath of Thanksgiving, as millions disregard a CDC recommendation to not travel for the holiday.
GC. Oh my gosh. That Auburn Alabama game where Auburn returned the kick in the last second to win the game.
Looking back, Internet calls it the Kick 6 Auburn Alabama.
2013, I think it may just be
The Greatest single play in College Football history.
Reading about it, what it meant. If that play doesn't exist, I can't think of another play that means as much as that one did.
Such a thing of beauty for anyone who wasn't rooting for Alabama of course.
In the 80's as a kid I appreciated both these teams, so in the "Iron bowl" i'll root for the underdog each time.
I mean, I've always loved Alabama, they are probably my 2nd favorite football team of College football, as I don't really have one, but only when they are not frontrunners, Whenever Alabama has been frontrunners, I've rooted agasint them.
Certainly in regular season college football, that Kick 6 may be the biggest single play. DANG that's beautiful.
Alabama is up 7-0 not important, what is important, I think,
Check this out, Earlier, An Auburn Receiver alligator armed a pass, somewhere, I want to say the goal line but not sure, I am sure I shouted out that he short armed it, all he had to do was reach up and ...
Then,
Right there, Alabama goes up on a wide open deep 30 through the air 30 on the ground 60 yard pass, that could very eaaily have been overthrown if the Bama Wr would have chosen not to go arms over head to reach up for it and make that catch in stride, over his head.
Point is: The entire difference in the score of this game, 7-0 vs 0-7 is two chances, and one wr Aligator armed the chance and one Wr Went after the ball.
Oh man, tennessee volunteers, oh man, they just missed an XP with seconds left to play in the 4th.
oh man it is the sec, are they the best 6 loss team in the country, oh maybe the best 7 loss team, could
is tennessee the best 8, 9, 10 loss team in the country.
I mean they haven't done anything in the 2000's they beat ohio state in a bowl game twice in the 90's but really, and they had peyton manning about 26 years ago,
but aw man, I can't miss, that there old sec i'm talkin bout wow ole buddy i tell yua!
tennesse they right there must be one of the best i'm sayin one of the best 22 loss teams in the country.
I’ll say this. Everyone piled on the Bucks for not completely rolling a ranked Indiana. Meanwhile Va Tech gave Clemson all they could handle through 3 quarters yesterday. No mention by the talking heads thus far. I guess the Trevor Lawrence lovefest won’t allow for it.
I haven't seen a beatdown like this Arizona St/Arizona game maybe ever. It's 63-7 with 4min left in the 3rd. I'm not really watching, but every time I look up Arizona State either just scored or is inside the 10 ready to punch it in. Neither team has won a game this year.
GC, a little on the first half of the Miami v North Carolina game:
I think, I saw a bad day in seeing the first half of the Miami db's; to say the least
1, they lose contain and can't hold the outside edge for a 70 yard run
2, they do it again. and I think it's more the Miami Defense then the North Carolina, runner, but i'll give the runner this, He was quick, and he had one outside step, but basically an error on the defense if it's baseball scoring.
3. they get beat over the top on a 60 yds through the air pass, and it's caught for a gain, only not a td because momentum carried them all toward the sideline iirc.
The point I'm intending to make is, Sometimes you see offenses and players power through by making blocks, or breaking arm tackles, or demonstrating elusiveness
and other times you see a real bad defense and a fast runner just run.
This was the 2nd option. 3 separate times, except the receiver did track the ball pretty well.
For those that didn't see it, Florida stopped LSU to force a punt with the game tied and 3+ min. left. Then Wilson of Florida picked up an LSU players shoe and threw it, resulting in a 15 yard penalty and an LSU first down. LSU went down and kicked a 57 yard field goal which won the game.

“Ohio State should not make the playoffs over Florida” -Dabo Swinney
Open mouth... insert foot.
Dabo is one annoying individual.
I like Dabo, can't blame the guy for pimping his conference.
I don't think he's right though, especially now. I'll be honest, if it was Northwestern that had OSU's record and had played their schedule, I might be a little more skeptical of giving them a shot at a national championship... but it's Ohio State. I think in this case you get some legacy points for being as good as you have for as long as you have and, assuming you finish undefeated, you get to play in the conference championship game and the national championship game.
About 2 years ago, I guessed, what would it be like, if the college whatever it is, "committee"
If the Committee had the ability to decide, whether each years bcs would be 2 teams, 4 teams 6 teams, based on circumstances.
Boy that may have been something, except. MONEY Special interest peer pressure
But, that's what we have anyway.
So, we know, the peer pressure interests would never let a year go, if the option were to have 2, 4, or 6, where there weren't the maximum number of teams.
This year is probably a year where 2 teams makes the most sense.
There were years where there were only 2, where 4 teams made the most sense. There may have been years where more than 4 teams made sense,
but I don't remember a year since 1988 where 8 teams would make sense at all whatsoever.
I have a question. I think I saw Texas A&M is 8-1.
Why isn't Texas A&M 10-1?
They played 9 games...
Well, Obviously! But the point is, Why didn't they play the other 3, if we've had to listen to their coach,
for two weeks of soundbites, arguing how a team doesn't face the chances for adversity if they don't play a full schedule?
Come to find out, They didn't even play a full schedule!
So, What happened to the other 3 games! 2 Games! Texas A&M.
Schedule shows you "cancelled OLE MISS" that'd a been a good one, one y'all might have lost. WHAT HAPPENED THERE!
And, apart from that, they have 3 off weeks
Three OFF weeks? Two in a Row?
Why, I thought they played a full schedule, I'd have thought they'd be the iron-man of every game college football to be making this argument in sports media the last two weeks.
If they're not 10-1, if they didn't even play 10 games then their coach ought to just shut up.
and By the way, I hope they get in, I think they'd be fun to watch.
nobody, and I mean NOBODY, moves the goal posts like sec fans.
1. Alabama 2. Clemson 3. Ohio State 4. Notre Dame
If i'm Notre Dame I am not arguing against my team getting that last spot. In fact, I may be arguing against it.
I don't think Ohio State with the state they are currently in, guys shifting in and out, Justin Fields showing flaws, etc.. I don't think they can beat Clemson. So it really seems we are getting Clemson/Alabama XV or however many times they have played
