Green Bay is traveling to Buffalo to play the Bills on Sunday night. Check out this comment from Aaron Rodgers after the team lost to Washington this past Sunday.
Quote
"I'm not worried about this squad. In fact, this might be the best thing for us. This week, nobody's going to give us a chance, going to Buffalo on 'Sunday Night Football,' with a chance to get exposed. Shoot, this might be the best thing for us."
I think he meant to say "exposure." The Freudian slip might very well be prophetic.
Russ is getting cooked on Twitter, podcasts, and sports shows for the following absurd comments. This dude is such a "me" person. Glad we didn't end up w/him.
Not sure if anyone watched last night's game, but Tom Brady looked absolutely miserable in the Post Game PC. Sad to see. Tampa Bay is a mess right now.
Brady seems to be having a miserable final year. Baltimore didn’t even play well IMO .. and they have the injury bug too. Unfortunately, they have the more dynamic playmaker. The AFC is a two horse race, but Baltimore/Cincy are vying for the 3rd IMO
Yeah, getting a guy who signed a long term deal only to throw a tantrum and demand a trade while refusing to play for the team he signed that contract with, then was suspended for 11 games for being a predator is so much better.

I watched it the game but didn't watch any post-game stuff. Brady should have retired when he said he was going to.
As soon as Watson’s suspension was upped from 6 to 11 games our season was basically over … and then our BLOWN losses against NYJ, ATL, and LA put the nail in the coffin
As soon as Watson’s suspension was upped from 6 to 11 games our season was basically over …
I'm not sure I believe that.
Finding peculiar and embarrassing ways to lose (especially on D and STs) has been a staple of the Browns for quite some time.
Back-up quality QB play isn't the reason we are 2-5, imo. In order for us to be kept afloat - until Watson's debut - demanded a basic level of competency in all 3 areas simultaneously on game day. That was the nail in the coffin.
If that had happened, we'd probably be 4-3 (afloat).
I think you will find in most cases when teams QB has thrown 2td's and 4int's over the last four games most people would attribute some of those four losses in a row on QB play. We can all point to other factors and ignore that if we are so inclined but trying to claim that isn't a big consideration as being factual isn't reality. When your QB has twice as many int's as he has td's over the last four games trying to pretend that isn't a big factor in your team losing games I believe would take one either working hard to convince themselves or simply being disingenuous.

Probably so, but it isn't over yet. We can still win the division. A wildcard is probably out.
A win Monday night is a must. If we do that we are still in this thing. The fat lady might be in the concert hall, but she isn't singing just yet.
Some posters mention the negativity on this board. they're right and sometimes I'm one of them. It comes from 55 years of being a Browns fan not to mention all we have to listen to from others. That being said, we still have a shot, but we need to win tomorrow night. 4 losses by 9 points and the way we lost can take the fight out of a team. I stated on an earlier post that if we just had 2 good DT's and a little better QB play at crucial times our record could be reversed. We're not that far away. There's a little positivity to start the week and I haven't been drinking
Ruzzel Wilzon waz clearly done when I zaw him last year on 2 drivez he couldn't know what to do with medium prezzure around him, with the ball. Now, ... that waz always hiz game. Zo he waz done last year.
Cowboyz against bearz.
Zhould be 35-7 Cowboyz at the half.. BUT
the REFZ, threw a flag for hit the pazzer ... when the Cowboyz int'd the ball
now, on the 2nd of 3 incomplete in the end zone, the cowboyz alzo hit Juztin Fieldz, and worze, but none of those were flagz zee, the flag.. only got thrown to influence the outcome of the game, to make zure it didn't reach a 35-7 blowout zcore in the first half.
zo what happened next? The bearz threw a td on the next play, 28-I4 instead of 28-7 with the cowboyz in zcoring position again.
then, the cowboyz... THEY threw an int on their own zide of the field
and then had a FG try to make it 28-I7 ( I didn't zee if it went through or not)
Either way, a 9 point lead, or I2, iz a much more watchable eyeball drawing game??? for the 2nd half than a 35-7 (28 point lead) which iz more clozer to the truth of the matchup.
But truth, and completion fairnezz be danged, it'z all fixed to draw ratingz and for the money.
The Steelers should fire their OC tonight. He's make Maurice Carthon Look like Andy Reid
Pats defense is getting better and better each game
Carolina is playing better since P.J Walker too over from Mayfield Yet Eotab kept on telling us Baker was such a good QB and Cried when the Browns traded him.
--SF and Shanny pretty much have LA and McVay's number. Run CMC was a huge addition to the team. Deebo will be returning and that duo will be deadly.
--The helmet thing annoys me. They call it on DJ Moore and it may have cost the Panthers a win. Shortly afterwards, Terry McLauren rips his helmet off after catching a pass at the 1 yd line that set up the game-winning sneak and no penalty is called. It's either a rule or it's not. Be consistent.
--Carolina and Washington both look better w/their backup qbs.
--Philly is looking really good. I am amazed at how much Hurts has improved as a passer. He was always a solid guy and a good runner, but he was a horrible passer in college. It's rare to see a guy make those leaps and bounds in such a difficult area.
--Tua is another guy who has improved a lot. He endured a lot w/Flores not believing in him. I do feel bad for Detroit. They fight hard almost every single week.
--Minnesota is flying under the radar. That was an entertaining game. They have a lot of weapons on offense. Not sure if anyone saw DHop's snag for an Arizona TD? Amazing.
--The Raiders laid an egg yesterday. Wonder when the rumblings begin about McDaniels?
--Buffalo is just so good. Allen is the guy who is the most fun to watch play qb Mahomes is also right there. Buffalo has the ability to shuffle their d-linemen a lot, which keeps them fresh. They also have an outstanding LBer in Milano.
--Seattle vs the Giants was a hard fought game. I don't know if the NFL does a Most Improved player, but Geno Smith is putting together an outstanding year. I keep waiting for the wheels to fall off, but he keeps playing well. The Giants desperately need receiving options. Seattle is better off w/out Russ and Pete Carroll is once again able to show that he is a very good coach. Daboll has done a very nice job in NY, as well.
For everyone of your points I'll say this, coaching matters in the NFL.
As for Buffalo, I'm pulling for them but something tells me KC is going to edge them out. It just has one of those feelings that it is going to be a mountain they have difficulty scaling over the years.

Agree with all of this. And I'll just say again coaching matters in the NFL.
In regards to the helmet thing, I am not in favor of calls by the refs that decide games. Whether it's that dumb helmet rule or a ticky tack PI that helps a team win.
Refs should never decide games. And they do it far too often in the NFL. The Falcons deserved to lose for giving up the hail mary. The helmet had nothing to do with the play on the field. So dumb.
After watching the Bills last night I'm not looking forward to playing them. Also, the Jets aren't as good as their record but I think we all know that. I can't get that loss to them out of my head. I really think it's become a big factor in our season. You can't lose games like that.
I can see KC nipping Buffalo, but I really don’t think it’s going to happen this year. Buffalo is THAT much better IMO (and the game will be in Buffalo)

I don't know man. I give Mahomes the slight edge to Allen. And Mahomes is a proven winner. I need to see them scale that mountain. They can do it and it's as close to a coin flip game as possible, but I feel like KC is going to be their kryptonite.
October 16th 2022 the Bills beat K.C. 24-20. It appears they already scaled that mountain you speak of. I do however agree with you that when these two teams meet the results could go either way.
No doubt Mahomes is out of this world. I can easily see them beating Buffalo (it’s the only team). I just don’t know if KC has the entire package on offense/defense. It should be a heck of a game
