Well the Commanders stink ... the Bears went right through them for 40 points. (and DJ Moore ended my fantasy week early)

Hopefully we can get things clicking like the Bears seemed to. Things can change fast in the NFL.
teams in the NFC also have the benefit of having an "easier" chance at making the playoffs ... the QBs overall in that conference are not good
Trying to make the playoffs with Mahomes, Allen, Herbert, Lawrence, Lamar, and Burrow (even an injured one) added to the Dolphins juggernaut offense and us having to play in our division ... that's a tall task
It seems as though Field's is beginning to click. It appears he is catching up to the speed of the game. He began showing that last week and it continued into this week. His play was better than his pecentage numbers would indicate and if he continues on this trajectory he could turn out to be a good NFL QB.
Last night they really helped Fields schematically ... look at his breakdown of throwing to the left vs right. Not to mention, Washington playing all man was so dumb lol

I'm not sure how looking at left vs right really has anything to do with scheme.
I think the Bears success had more to do with their OL playing better. Teven Jenkins played for the first time this season, and for the most part Fields was kept clean. He did take 3 sacks, but it didn't feel like he was under constant duress like previous games. He had some nice pockets to sit in at times. If anything I think better protection gave him time to complete his reads and get back to the left, and gave WRs more time to work open/coverage to break down.
Here's the week before:
It is like the games they put on computer streaming on Thursday nights don't even exist.
The coverage maps.
https://506sports.com/A few games of interest. Most of you will get the ravens Steelers. I won't, but will watch on Youtube....is a tie too much to ask. Otherwise, i have to go for the Steelers.. I thinkthe Ravens have the best chance to be at the top of the division. I'll take the help.
I'll keep my eye on the local broadcast and pull for the Titans over the Colts. All in that division are tied, so might as well go with the local team.
Late, Cincy at AZ....got to go AZ.
Sunday night SF at Dallas....Mixed emotions...we play SF next week. Mixed emotions here...I don't like eiter team...do I want SF heading in on a high or ticked?
Jags up 11-0 after 1 .. Bills have a lot of injuries on D
Jags win .. their defense looked good
Losing Milano is a pretty big loss for the Bills.
Watching the Ravens Steelers game, TJ Watt is an absolute game changer. The best in the game, IMO.

That turned out to be a good game to watch. I'm surprised the Steelers pulled it off, their offense didn't look too good on most plays.
the steelers are just so tough
I watched the Steelers Ravens game. Steelers were we on their way to their third lopsided loss. Ravens gave that game away. Drove up and down the field at will. Dropped two touchdowns. Bizarre pick in the endzone. Ravens literally beat themselves.
Best possible outcome for the Browns is Pitt commits to Pickett long term. The Steelers should be 1-4. They are the very definition of average to below average.
The North is not what most believed.
Bengals, Steelers, and Ravens are not much different than the Browns.
They all have issues. The division is up for grabs. The team who can compensate for their deficiencies will win.
The Steeler offense is a mess.
The Bengals have major problems. The Ravens are inconsistent and turnovers are a problem.
The four games the Browns have played are difficult to get any true read on.
The Titan game shows what we could be.
The Steeler game shows how bad we can be.
The Raven's game was proof of what poor quarterback can do.
The Bengal game shows how well this defense can play.
As I watch some games I am reminded how close teams really are.

And for some reason
I feel they will all succeed
except for the basement browns
Might be because it's how it always turns out
I know it's early, Time for the Browns to show something
That easy

Unfortunately I agree with you. I was hoping they would get rid of Matt Canada this week but that's not happening now. Steelers are in 1st place in the AFCN in spite of themselves. It will never last. Steelers D saved them again.
Defenses win Championships
thank you to TJ Watt, Highsmith and Joey Porter Jr (first NFL interception couldn't have happened at a better time)
Totally was wondering if Matt Canada has narcolepsy when I saw that live.
Bengals looked pretty good on offense today
Good lord Cousins.
All you had to do was drop back and launch it. Don’t take that sack bro
Wilson and Cousins suck lol
Sean Payton has some questions to answer. Cause losing to the Jets…
Bengals looked pretty good on offense today
Or did Arizona look pretty bad on Defense ?

exactly - no way Canada called that play. He is awful

Home opener last season

That's pretty neat too! Interesting week in the NFL for sure
YESSSSS!! Can't wait to listen to the local radio shows this week!!!. Now the Pat's fans know what it's like to be a Browns fan!! I'm sure there's more to come for them LOL!!!
Purdy 9-0 in the regular season.
Sigh....we're screwed next week.
Agreed. I’m expecting a real beat down next week. I just hope we don’t have any more injuries
Purdy 9-0 in the regular season.

Any chance the Browns can pull off another
Bye week ?
lol
im not crazy for thinking Purdy is better than Dak, right?
im not crazy for thinking Purdy is better than Dak, right?
Think the results have more to do with Shanahan being better than McCarthy.
That's a Purdy irrelevent thought
Getting a sinking feeling watching this 9ers game.
Not sure there is a defense that can stop this offense.
And then of course, Stefanski.
Purdy looks a whole lot like Brady.
That’s the wrong kind of hat trick, Dak.
After watching the 49ers, we'll be lucky to score 10 points and hold them to 35 or less next week. I hope it's not too embarrassing. They made the Cowboys look very bad. Not that I'm complaining about it LOL!!!!
Niners look on a mission. I’ll be surprised if we fair a whole lot better than Dallas tbh. If we indeed do totally stink it up with the 9ers I’m thinking that tells us allllll we need to know about this team this year. We’ll probably finish with a winning record because the back half of the schedule is so favorable but not really a team to be taken seriously.
If we win on the other hand… whole new season.
I'm once again glad that we didn't hire Mike McCarthy.
49ers are going to kick our butts up and down the field.
I was thinking the Ravens were going to kick Steelers butt in the early going. It would be a miracle if Stefanski could pull off a come from behind win like that.
Watching the 49er's I started to wonder if Purdy could throw an incompletion?
Before the season I was thinking. This guy Purdy, don't go overboard. The league will catch up to him. Wrong.
The fallacy of arm strength was on full display. His arm is average being kind. He does not throw with velocity. I doubt he would win a contest in how far you can throw.
What he can do is throw accurately and on time. He throws with great anticipation and perfect timing. He also throws a very catchable ball.
It is wild how a guy like him gets passed over by every team in football for seven rounds.
49ers are literally the worst team to play coming off a bye when we need a win ... it'll be ugly
Steelers have numerous examples each season of being borderline dirty (and thats generous)
Well, if you compare similarities to us and the 49ers, our Head coaches have the same initials!!
you're onto something
Well, if you compare similarities to us and the 49ers, our Head coaches have the same initials!!
yea but ours is most likely to be voted sexiest man alive
im not crazy for thinking Purdy is better than Dak, right?
As they say, the proof is in the pudding. The pudding says you are correct.
Dad continuously folds when it counts too

Still waiting for him to come home after going to get milk.
Mike McDaniel press conferences are the best...
It became clear the bengals offense misses perine more than one would think.

LOL
the Raiders center and left guard on their OL, have just dominated their man the last 8 to I0 offensive snaps, before the 2 min warning.
Packers and Love look really BLAH. Love has the few moments per game that are good, but overall he's not good
I'm guessing having about the youngest, rawest group of pass catchers in the league is a factor. The most experienced WRs on the Packers active roster have 2 years (Watson, Doubs, Toure.) Lots of rookies are playing significant roles (WRs-Reed, Wicks. TEs-Musgrave, Kraft.) Their best/most experienced offensive weapon is Aaron Jones, who has been out with a hamstring.
