They didn't last year..... The difference? Shanahan last year, Flip this year. Same players different scheme. When you pass almost every down, your run blocking will suffer when you do throw a run in here or there.

It's pretty simple. Teams don't respect the pass game. There is no special consideration given to our pass game so the defense is all slanted toward the run. Even if the Browns end up getting lucky and hit on a pass they're gambling they won't consistently be able to do it.

It's no coincidence that the Browns best running week was the week when Manziel made them pay deep.

Absolutely. Falcons RB scored 3 rushing TD's last week. I'm not sure we will score 3 rushing TD's all year.

Interceptions are caused by pressure and poor throws. Haden and our secondary does not have that luxury.

Observations so far:

Barnidge represents that jersey well; his play reminds me of Steve Heiden.
Good to see Joe out there, and from what I've seen still holding his own despite the ribs and finger
Defense looks like it has been spending time on remembering how to wrap up - they're actually tackling when they make contact
I missed most of the Ravens scoring, however, so I'm not sure what/where the breakdowns have been.

I think that is true for most...the banter helps me bit...I actually enjoy some of the comedy from the comments and there are some funny ones.

I think Weeden's next few games with the Cowboys is really going to determine how we view Chud. Both have great teams, but Weeden is just such a bad QB that they may both be winless.

I am embarrassed to be a fan. This ownership, front office, coaching staff, and players simply don't care. I honestly don't think a coaching change will fix anything because this organizations problems run far deeper than one staff member or player. Of the 53 man roster there are only a few players that would see another team cut their starting player and replace them with a player on the Browns.

This team has been so bad for so long and ruined so many drafts and free agent signings that I can not see a path to fix it. There is is simply no talent and no one with experience or skill is willing to come here. The owner is a control freak and the general manger is not able to understand the importance of the skilled positions in football. It's getting harder and harder to support a team that does not respect itself or the city it represents.

I think it's time to talk seriously talk about boycotts or protest outside the Browns facility. The insanity needs to stop.
