Can we be punished if there is profanity in the comments section of one of the links we post?

For example, if I link to a Tweet, will the replies on that Tweet be held against me?

It usually seems that if there is profanity on a link, it is deleted. I an not sure hoe deep into the comments they read.

However, you can just give full credit, and it will be OK. (ie: the name of the author, and the site name only)

What qualifies as profanity? Even George Carlin's 7 dirty words are down to 2 or 3, tops.

No, as long as nothing inappropriate is in the actual post or article.

Comments can be made for years after something is posted, it's impossible to monitor those.

LOL.............not sure why that struck me as sooooo funny.

As far as the comments go.........man, I love reading those things. People are so dumb and they say the most outrageous things. They even make some of us look smart.
