I am as well. Too bad I won't see the game or even hear it....Braves baseball trumps Falcons football for radio play here.

I think Nassib is going to be a plus pick for us. I like players who play like their hair is on fire. Add in some good skills and you have a classic overacheiver who beats the odds and becomes a strong player. Meder might be in the same mold.

Wildmen who get some results drive other players, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Those guys can get a little crazy while offensive players need to stay in control.

I will be curious to see what he does.

Missed most of the first half, but I haven't seen any of our players WRAP UP while tackling. Bad tackling mechancics is what KILLED us last year.

I know it's early but I'd be all for getting rid of Horton. It's like always the wrong call

Horton has a history of dumping everything on his team early on, and letting them learn everything as they go. They are usually lost initially, and learn and get better as the year goes on.

That said, defensive plays are not why the team missed all of those tackles.

Yup, a mean MLB has always been a position that's been sorely lacking for us.

Offense showed potential, defense looked awful. Luckily, it's early and we're missing people. Both should be able to get better before the season.

I read somewhere about Horton throwing everything at his players at the very beginning and some sinking before they swim is normal. I'll see if I can find a link. They'll need to grow up fast on D if we're gonna make any noise this season.
