Not a great year for super bowl commercials... too much social justice stuff. I want my commercials cute (like the Anheuser-Busch horses and dogs) or funny.. Most of these were neither...

I will say this, I think people's expectations are so high for the commercials these days that there is almost no way they can live up. Might get one every once in a while hopefully.

Yeah I got tired of the political stuff. But it could be worse I guess. There could have been the return of puppy monkey baby.

I thought the TurboTax commercial with Humpty Dumpty in the hospital was pretty funny.

I was waiting for the Life Water commercial.

I work for Pepsi, and they made a big deal in our meeting about being the first Non Carbonated beverage to get a commercial.

Also, Pepsi halftime shows. Blah blah.

And I didn't even notice it until it was literally over.

Welp, there went my Christmas bonus.

this years was probably the worst in recent memory...they are just so expensive the ROI might not be there after production costs etc

Well, it's become more about the conversation after.. yea, you get 15-30 seconds and spend millions to do it, but if you do something memorable, it lives on the internet forever and is brought up every year when the super bowl rolls around..

So if you are tracking ROI based on the first showing, yea, it probably looks like a horrible deal. But if you can pull off something memorable, you will get free advertising forever as they show it and reshow it.

The thing is that I saw at least 3 of them online prior to the Superbowl and I wasn't looking for them. Seems kind of to defeat the purpose...

They all sucked....

Thought almost all sucked... First time in a long time I actually left to do things during commercials because I got tired of watching them... Liked the one after the game about the soldiers watching the game with family... Liked the tom Brady one.... That's about it....

The soldiers one was really a heart felt moment !

I thought the Mr. Clean one was pretty good.

I've got my 11yo daughter to watch the Super Bowl for 5 years straight now because of the commercials, she was gone after the first quarter this year.

I also liked the halftime show. I think it's funny that the left is blasting Gaga for not taking this chance to somehow blast Trump... and that she "wasn't political enough"..

I thought at the beginning, when she was on the roof with the drones behind her and some lit up red and some lit up blue and they came together to form the American flag.. I thought that was the PERFECT political message for the time.

I don't believe it's any less funny than the right who predicted she would be political and called for people to boycott the Super Bowl and or half time. Both are pretty funny.
