Well didn't you know that every judge that tries their cases are liberals. They only accept liberal jurors and it's all one big conspiracy. We'll call it Jurygate. Yeah, that's the ticket.
Posted By: Swish Re: Roger Stone-found guilty - 11/15/19 06:45 PM
Soros funded jurors!!!
Posted By: Clemdawg Re: Roger Stone-found guilty - 11/15/19 06:47 PM

Not sure about a pardon?

He will be consoled against that for political reasons.

So now Stone and Cohen, Manaford and Flynn. "All the best people".

His entire time in office has been like watching an episode of the "untouchables".

Corrupt mafia type criminals working against and taking advantage of the law. His entire time in office has been based upon abuse of power.

It was all clear what he would be like before being elected. His history of scams, quid pro quo were part of daily life. Zero respect for law and the constitution.

If it was up to him he would be pharaoh and his family would rule this country.

He's basically run 1600 like he's run his businesses for the past 20 years. Difference is you can get away with that crap in the private sector, but there exists a different set of rules for public servants- and they exist for a very good set of reasons.

The day after the election, I openly stated in this forum that he was too arrogant and stupid to avoid impeachment. Now, look where we are. I said at the time that I didn't know how it would manifest, I only knew that it would. Fans of his will try to blame Dems for this, but it was a fait accompli the day he took office. He couldn't not be the amoral corrupt guy no reputable businessman in Manhattan has been willing to touch for the last 20 years, so it was only a matter of time.

Shakedowns of foreign presidents.
Obstruction of congress/justice.
Witness tampering/intimidation.
Cronies lying under oath.

If scheduled for TV, the series should be called "The Trumpanos."

Lies and hypocrisy are in full bloom in Washington. That is why I despise politics.

Most everything is cloaked in partisan flavors.

What is astounding is that I have never seen a more clear case of being unfit for the position. How can people not see through this guy?

What connections has got with any working people? None. His life started with "gifted" money. He has been a complete fraud in all he has done. It is so blatantly obvious.

I don't know how to answer that question. What's even more distressing is that they've now had 3 years of daily examples, and still feel compelled to defend him at every single turn. No matter what the story is, no matter what he's done. I'm sure they watch all this stuff go down, knowing (like the rest of us) that this is not how normal people behave.

I have to conclude one or any of these things:

1. They really don't see it at all- and are completely in his thrall (Trump U grads).
2. They see it, but fight hard for their tribe, of whom he's the Chief (partisans).
3. They see it- and they love it (deplorables in the basket).

Outside of that, I have no explanation.

The right categories.

And that represents approximately 40% who "approve" of him.

That is depressing. That is why the question.

But look at what has transpired. A endless list. Surly Independents can swing re-election???? At this point faith is at a premium.

A friend of mine on Facebook posted a thought. She said that if Trump really wanted Hillary to be in Jail, he should have hired her LOL

Hope you like your accommodations Mr. Stone, we've fixed the camera since Mr. Epstein didn't kill himself in there.
