The players seem to respect lue over blatt.
The state of the team is more important than who you think is on blattt side.
If we go to the finals, nobody in cleveland is gonna care about blatt.
Except you.

LOL......are you angry? Over that? Really?
I am saying that I am going to challenge BS assertions that are simply not true.
Wanna do a survey of real NBA people and see who has more respect for their offensive philosophies between Blatt and Lue? Who do you think is more respected for their basketball intellect? Not by fans, but by guys who are involved w/the game.
You can huff and puff, but unless you are a liar regarding your bb experience, you know what I am saying is correct. yes, get back to me when you have completed that survey.

You're not really a challenge. More like entertainment for the night.

I think you and the druggie both missed this point: Here is my point.........one can say that the team, Love included, is playing harder for Lue. One can say that the team listens to Lue more than they did Blatt. One can even hypothesize that the Cavs have a better chance of winning w/Lue as their HC. I won't argue any of those points. But, don' give me this crap that Blatt didn't post up Love or that he didn't run plays for him. Now, you can go back to making this only about me........might as well, because neither one of you can deny what I said w/out lying.

Not that anyone will care what I think, but the discussions in this forum all seem to be start with a decent topic and then after a few comments almost always get completely lame with personal attacks of some sort or another. I'm more of a reader than a poster but I've been on here for over 10 years. I posted a bit more on my old account which I had before this one. It seems like every single thread everyone is just arguing with each other. Not really worth the time to come here anymore. It isn't what it once was. Anyway, like I said, I'm sure nobody cares. I read some other sports forums and I've never seen anything like the constant back and forth between posters that I see here. Sure there is nastiness but it seems to be on a different level here. If anyone has any suggestions for other Browns discussions groups that have less of "this" please let me know. Thanks.

I hear you. I apologize for my part in it. But, I am going to maintain that anyone who says that Love didn't post up in Blatt's offense or that Blatt didn't try to get him looks is simply making things up.......or...has listened to telecasts and bought into the crap that the lead announcer is spewing. As far as this board compared to other boards goes...........I respectfully disagree. I have went to other Brown's boards when I have been suspended and they suck. They cuss at each other. It's way worse than here. We have our issues here, but it's the best Brown's board...................by far. Purp and I have our issues, but I have to give him credit for maintaining the best Brown's board on the net. And no, I ain't kissing your butt, Purp........because you know I am gonna rip you on the Gordon thread.......at some point.

I agree, other browns boards is mostly people cussing other people out. It's not readable. It's a waste of time. It's like a contest to see who can swear the most. This is the best browns board.

You know what............I wanna like you. You are from Stark County. You are involved w/hoops. But man, you make it difficult.......
I am just going to try and bring it back to bb. Peen and Swish have been talking about the coaching.
I think the argument can be made that the team is playing harder for Lue. Heck, that is not even an argument. It's a fact right now. I think that the team listens to Lue more than they did Blatt. I think that the team might do better w/Lue than they would have w/Blatt.
However............I disagree [is that better than "not allow"] this junk about Blatt not posting Love up. I am not going to agree that Blatt did not run plays for Love. I am not going to agree w/Lue being a more respected coach by the people who count than Blatt is.
Now.........some of you Mouths can make this about me, but for those of you who have an open mind......consider what I said in the previous two paragraphs.
Thank you........

No one said he didnt post up Love or run plays for him
Its not a black or white answer, it is somewhere in between .
Love was used to spread the floor, a lot. Love was not being used properly, a lot.
That seems to have changed under Lue, for right now anyways

Just clicking..
I came here to get some insight on how the Cavs are progressing after getting blown out by the Warriors, firing Blatt and then taking it to the Spurs.
Instead, I found a bunch of 12 year olds arguing...
Can we please stick to the Cavs and basketball in this thread?

12 years old. ______________ The Cavs schedule is extremely weak the next two months, I wouldn't be surprised if we railed off a couple of big win streaks soon. I don't think we are going to make any moves before the trade deadline, although I would love to find a way to pick up Drummond or Whiteside. SG and C are our weak spots IMO and I feel like we need one more solid defender to really have shot against the Warriors. Irving, Smith and Love are all defensive liabilities (although the effort has been there this year). I'm thinking we finish something like 62-20 and end up facing a surprise team in the east finals (like the Celtics, Pistons or Raptors). As for the finals... It's hard to imagine beating the Warriors or Spurs in a 7 game series but we might be the only team who has a shot.

Yeah the schedule is going to be very weak heading into the playoffs. Cavs have gone through their gauntlet of brutal games.

Ok, I still think blatt was using love lesser than he should have.
I also think he wasn't playing his bench as much as he should have. I am no way blaming blatt, but the 4th game of a sweep in Boston, the bench should've been playing more. Maybe love isn't even on the court for that to happen.
And with the injuries, we couldn't afford not to. But he stayed with that 7 man rotation and...it bit us in the finals. Our bench players didn't have real minutes.
Look at the Spurs, the Warriors. Man in the finals, GS had an entire squad off the bench, no starters. GS stayed fresh the entire series.
You got one player dehydrated and throwin up, another has to play superman with a ton of injuries, and a rebounding machine that can't score.
We needed to keep them as fresh as possible. I don't think blatt did a good job with that. I think he got out coached, and was continuing to be out coached this season against other elite teams.
Maybe blatt did have guys playing out of position. Maybe the system had the players confused as to how to run it? They just didn't feel comfortable in that style of play. It's up to the coach to g this guys to fully buy in.
Hindsight, he was a bad fit from the start. Which isn't his fault. He was hired before Lebron got there. But it's better to cut the ties now than to risk this becoming a way worse problem. It already getting ugly.

Hopefully OKC or someone can go 2009 Orlando Magic and pull a huge upset (or two) And then fall apart in the Finals (keeping the 09 Magic Theme)
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

Frankly, I am hoping that we get the Warriors in the Finals, at full strength, and sweep them. That would be more satisfying then any other outcome I can imagine.

I'm not going to get into whether or not Blatt was treated fairly or whether LeBron was conducting some kind of secret coup to get him ousted or.... blahblahblah...
But anybody who watched them before and has watched the last few games can tell that the difference is striking... they are playing faster and with more energy on both ends of the court... players are being used to their strengths, the rotations seems to be working better... and they are just a heck of a lot more fun to watch...

Who exactly should of been playing though? Marion and Haywood are both retired now, Joe Harris is in the D-league, and Mike Miller and Kendrick Perkins can't even break 9 minutes a game on bad teams during the regular season this year. Irving, Love and Andy were all hurt, which left the 7 that we did play.

j/c:
The Suns fired Hornacek today. Bledsoe, who is one of the better guards in the league, has been lost for a good part of the season. Knight has also been injured. Morris is a troublemaker. The Suns have had to endure a ton of injuries and some guys who are inconsistent w/their effort.........so what do you do?
You fire the coach, of course.
I'm sure all of the Sun's problems will suddenly be resolved and they will go on a huge winning streak.
