I am not the one embarrassing myself. Gordon has missed more games than he has played. He was kicked out of two colleges. He checked himself into rehab right before he was to be reinstated. He has a son that he tried to deny was his. He has been associated w/known felons. He has a DWI. He posted pics of him w/pipes and pill bottles. He posted a video of being wasted w/Greg Little after the Heat won the title where he was completely wasted.
It's you guys who are defending him who are looking foolish and all your stupid attack won't change that. I will never back down from your foolishness!
Vers is deflecting so he doesn't have to prove what he posted is true.
Y'all just going to let this go? Seriously?
Do you not remember that your first response to being asked for a link (which is YOUR signature move) was just a link to Google? Funny guy. Did you forget that? No one else has forgotten that.
Do you not realize that THAT response is why people are jumping on your posts? Nah...you are the victim.
Do you not see how WEAK was your initial response that you later felt compelled to try and then - AND ONLY THEN - actually provide a link.
Thanks, and to be clear...........that is the toughest one to prove. It's pure speculation by others that I picked up on.
However, the DWI, the getting kicked out of colleges twice, the huge amount of failed drug tests, the association w/a known felon the night of his DWI, the checking into rehab right before possibly being reinstated, the paternity suit, etc are not debatable. The articles are out there and Vambo, arch, and Willie calling me a liar won't change those facts.

Ok...but here is what you said IN THIS THREAD:
"if Gordon is popping pills, drinking Purple Drank, getting inebriated on booze, smoking pot when he isn't supposed to, hanging out w/guys who have been busted for drugs and unregistered weapons, missing meetings, missing practices, being late to team functions, being out of shape, being disinterested in games,"
And YOU get indignant when someone asks you to take a sip of your own medicine to provide a link?
You could have avoided this mess had you simply provided your links when challenged to do so (as lacking as they are/were)...rather than getting cute and pretending that you are above the fray that you yourself creates.
WTF is this "victim" crap? I am not claiming to be a victim. I am saying you guys are full of crap. Period.
You are claiming that others have called you a liar. I have never done so. I have taken you to task and you have failed miserably. You are absolutely ACTING like a victim.
Stop w/your nonsense. I have already addressed this.
The things I listed were separate issues. They did not occur in one instance. Thus, there is no one link that contains them all. I freaking took the time to look up three of them. That wasn't enough for you. You still are on Vambo's side. I can do the same for the others, but that won't be enough for you either.
Look Willie............what I said is pretty much true and all one has to do is research on the internet to check each fact.
You are just trying really hard to make me look bad. That's fine and it is also why I normally don't respond to you. You are not an objective poster.
Again w/the victim BS! I am NOT a victim because I am kicking your ass! I am just pointing out how freaking lame your argument is. That doesn't make me a victim. It makes you look like Vambo and other undesirables.
So, you spoke to Pryor and he told that to you directly?
No Sir I didn't speak with him. I don't know him and have never met him. I did however hear it from several front office people, other players on the team, and one member of the coaching staff.
I am amazed at the number of posts that are added to this thread daily. I check to see if anything actually happened with this jack-hole, but nothing.
First off, the things vers mentioned Gordon did, he did. It's been posted and linked to this board the minute it hits the news. It's canon now. When someone mentions Donte Stallworth killing a jaywalker while drunk, a link is not needed. It was already discussed and it is a known thing.
Gordon has no one to blame but himself for where he is. He has the option to make millions of dollars playing a game, something that millions of people would give their left nut to be able to do, but smokin' the ganga is obviously more important to him. He is trading a potential All Pro career for grass. His decision.
Yeah, I get it's a sickness and all, but he's been to rehab enough for something to have happened. Other people have kicked the habit, and for less incentive than millions of dollars.
We hear about his redemption and all every year (the previous thread was titled Annual Tease for a reason) but since it means nothing, it's just noise. He is on probation (his fault) by the league so they keep a closer eye on him. He knows that, but still will not toe the line.
The league, and the team, owes this clown nothing.
How very valiant! Inspirational! And such an important cause! Your dedication - dare I say, bravery? - is unassailable and in no way makes you seem obsessive or unhinged.
You have provided links for those of your accusations that have been widely reported; good enough for me. I'll just assume you have rock solid evidence from the 2014 training staff, players, or Josh himself that he ,in your words, "[came] in out of shape...and [played] like a lazy, disinterested bum..." I can make this assumption (and ignore Josh's performance in the 2016 preseason) because I know you wouldn't commit the same sin you call other posters out on: assailing the character of a player without good cause.
That article just says JG was rusty the first practice; it's a leap to conclude lack of dedication to the physical demands of the NFL from that. I don't think it is being fair to lump that in with all the other obvious instances of JG's unreliability. It seems his performance during the preseason contradicts that as well.
Thank you for the post. It is interesting to read something other then the draft this time of year. Just a statistic that does not look good for gordon not many players make it back to play football from lifetime bans. e.g pacman I can not remember any others. I am eternally optimistic that he does come back and contributes

I agree. A comeback is rare anytime a player is out of the league for multiple years...although he IS young and has low mileage...and has displayed limited sense. Should be interesting to see it play out.
J/c ... my take ... its dumb to rely on him but there's no sense in cutting him because if he stays clean and surprises ... u have a POTENTIAL TOP 5 WR ... its stupid at this point just to cut him ... let it play out ... once he costs u a serious roster spot ... then u got a decision to make ... til then ... just chill ...
I'm with cal and lamp ... as a human being i hope he turned it around for his and his child(ren) sakes ... hes also still very young ... hopefully something clicked, he saw the light or whatever and this time he has the motivation to be strong enough to avoid the alcohol and drugs ... only time will tell on that one ... good luck young man ...
Corey Coleman - WR - Browns
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports second-year Browns WR Corey Coleman would man the slot if suspended WR Josh Gordon is reinstated for 2017.
Per Rapsheet, the plan would be to have Gordon and Kenny Britt man the boundaries. At 5-foot-11, 185 pounds, Coleman is built like a slot receiver, but like Odell Beckham, he has an outside game. Perhaps coach Hue Jackson views the slot as a soft landing after Coleman's injury-marred rookie season, not that it's an easy position. Gordon's return — something the Browns have hinted they wouldn't welcome — would seriously dent Coleman's breakout appeal.

1. Rapoport didn't report anything. 2. I'd rather see Britt in the slot over Coleman.
I had a thought the other night about Sashi's statement on Gordon. Does anyone think that that was more a message to the other WRs on the roster? Something like, "if we had more receivers on our roster that can actually ball, we wouldn't have to goof around with this clown." We have a bunch of young WRs, and we need to have the cream start rising to the top. This could be a statement to that effect.
I don't know if this is the case, but I was curious what you guys think.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Nope. I think he was just stating things as they are. I mean, your thought would be more of him casting an indictment at himself for not having better receivers on the roster, lol
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

I would rotate them. No one has to have a set area.
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

This is a good point. When Hue Jackson was with the Bengals he had A.J. Green, Mohamed Sanu, and Marvin Jones. None of those guys is the prototypical slot receiver.

I don't know the answer, but the video I posted from PFT a few posts up suggests that Sashi would be wise to say good things about Gordon to help increase his trade value, rather than say something like we are done w/Gordon, which would allow teams to wait until he is released.
I don't know if that is the case, but it makes sense.
Browns receiver Josh Gordon, who is hoping the NFL will soon lift his indefinite drug suspension and open the door to a possible return to the field, is being sued by a Lake County woman to establish paternity and child support, per court papers filed last month. A pre-trial in the case is scheduled for May 16. Kristen Leonard said in court papers that Gordon is the father of her 2-year-old child, who was born March 1, 2015. "We hope to resolve this matter quickly and amicably so my client's child can have the benefit of being supported by both parents," Leonard's lawyer, Kelly M. Zacharias, told me. Gordon's lawyer could not be reached. (I'll update the post when I hear from Gary Vick, who is listed on the court docket as Gordon's lawyer.) Leonard is the second woman to sue Gordon to establish paternity and child support. A paternity test conducted last September showed Gordon is the father of a Maple Heights girl. Gordon's refusal to respond to multiple subpoenas in that case triggered a warrant for his arrest that was withdrawn when he finally complied.
John 3:16 Jesus said "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
Meathead is meathead. He will always be a loser. It's his nature. Every offseason the meathead lovers unite in expounding how great he is. lmao How when he comes back this year it will be different. How he will SAVE the franchise.... How many TD's did he score last year? The year before? The year before that? Hmmmm? He hasn't played in so long he's irrelevant. But we MUST keep him! He's the greatest WR to ever NOT play the game.... *snicker*
Jimmy Johnson "Hit me in the head with a hammer, the next time I want to draft a dumb guy". They don't COME any dumber than meathead.
