We are right where I want to be, we are the most non discussed AL champ ever. All I hear is Boston , Houston and of course the Yankees. I don't want many ESPN games messes with the travel , show the Cubs, Mets and Sox on a loop . We will fly under the radar again and I'm fine with that.

Whew that was close. With only 161 games left, I was about to say, theres no way we will make it out of the cellar with this loss. Might as well blow it all up.
Nice win for the Tribe. It's always nice to get win #1 on day 1.

Yep!
I was pressed for TV time yesterday, had to get a DVD back to the library, it's already a few days late. I turned the game on and we were losing. I turned it off and watched my DVD instead. I got online today and was so happy to see we won the first one yesterday. (Hey-now!)
I have to admit, it still burns thinking/seeing the Tribe. I don't remember when I turned the page after 1997, but it was a while. Come on, an extra innings Game 7 loss, again? It's hard to reboot after that.
“...Iguodala to Curry, back to Iguodala, up for the layup! Oh! Blocked by James! LeBron James with the rejection!”

We played a team that was a little bit better than us and we ended up losing to them - I think that's pretty much it. (Simplified version! )

And we played them while missing our best player, and 2 of our top 3 starting pitchers.
There is nothing to be ashamed of there. It;s like the prior year, when the Cavaliers fought their way to the Finals, and missing Kyrie and Kevin, just didn't quite have enough.

Right, I get all the "we weren't supposed to be there" and "we lost to the better team" thing.
I suppose I'm still battling just the basic fact we were there, had the chance to win at home in Game 7 bottom 9 tie game and didn't get it done.
Maybe it's worse since I'm reminded of it daily being in Chicago and living with a Cubs fans (although, she's not that big of a fan). I haven't had a break from the reminder.
I'm sure I'll shake it eventually, it's just been harder than normal. And what's odd, it came after the Cavs won. I should have been able to turn the page a lot faster. Weird.

I think the announcers got it right that that reversal is not in the spirit of why they instituted the rule.
I think it should be used for over changing very obvious calls (bang bang at 1st, tag/no tag at home, etc.). Reversing a call for when a player came off the bag for 1/30th of a second is way too ticky tacky for my liking.

I absolutely love the way the bullpen is constructed.
Heck, I love the way this team is built. This is going to be a fun season.
