So we are trying to drum up or mine some value out of this? Just appalling. Can you terminate or settle for chronic stupidity? Again with Gordon. . . .

We as an organization should just forget about him. He does have talent, he showed us that, but IMO it's just not worth the headaches. We've had enough of them.

http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/new-y...nt-women-041712Jets’ Cromartie, wife expecting twins foxsports Apr 17, 2012 at 1:00a ET Antonio Cromartie is about to add some depth to his family roster. The wife of the Jets cornerback posted a sonogram photo on Twitter that suggests the pair is expecting twins. That would make it 12 kids for Cromartie, with four from his wife, and eight others with seven different women. –– ADVERTISEMENT –– Terricka Cason, who goes under the Twitter handle @iluvTERRICKA, has been receiving congratulations from followers since posting the photo Tuesday. That included one from Jets linebacker Bart Scott’s wife. "Identical twins run in my Family," Cason wrote alongside the photo. "Without the lies i’ll tell u anything u want to kno just ask me.. Ive always been an up front person.. Oh yea we are expecting twins in NOv," she wrote in another tweet. Cromartie and Cason recently had a son, Jagger, who joined sister Jurzie. Cromartie has not mentioned the news on his Twitter account, but did wish Jurzie a happy second birthday. Cromartie has been criticized for his large brood, and that has only grown since he seemed to struggle to remember the names of some of his kids when the Jets were on HBO’s "Hard Knocks" in 2010. He defended himself after the show’s airing, saying producers had asked him to pause between each name. The Post reported on Sunday that some of Cromartie’s other baby mamas are interested in doing a reality television show featuring the kids, but Cromartie has balked at the possibility.

I can agree completely. Might play him to up his value, but not convinced it is possible. Get something, if possible; move on.

Don't forget about about Antonio Cromartie - 12 kids (from 8 women?) Next up on "As the world turns" We find out Josh Gordon is really the father of 4 of Cromartie's children

Such a great pick by Tom Heckert The most over rated GM in any Cleveland sports GM At the time I liked the guy. I really believed he was the answer. I couldn't have been more wrong. He really had me snowed. He set us back at least 5 years. Then we got stuck with Banner/Dumbardi and Farmer dumbass. SO many wasted picks. If we hit on HALF the first round picks that were wasted we'd be in the playoff hunt right now. I just hope the current FO is an improvement. I don't expect great. I would happily settle for competent. Average. Not a joke....

How much of that was Heckert and how much Holmgren...I read somewhere that Trent and Weeden were Holmgren picks.

Not much "Gordon news" in this thread. Mostly personal opinions. I just reread this entire thread hoping to find an answer to this question: What is happening with Josh Gordon? Out of the dozens of posts, the only one that offered a clue was this one by PPE: “Beyond that, giving Gordon a chance and allowing him to fail doesn't make anyone look like an idiot - except Josh, and then, only if he once again fails to take serious the opportunity being offered.” From the tone of a few other posts, this is what I’m guessing: The NFL has not made or indicated when it will make any decision about Gordon’s future as an NFL player. 1) Gordon is currently under indefinite suspension. 2) An NFL decision could be made at any time regarding Gordon. - The NFL decision could be made tonight or in 5 years, or never 3) The decision could range from immediate reinstatement to lifetime ban. Is this correct? Are there any certainties? Is there a possibility Gordon could play in 2017?

I think you pretty much covered it. The only news you will hear is if/when the NFL decides what it's going to do.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

News on Gordon.
He put in his papers to the NFL Office...Steelers get preferential treatment so Bryants papers were processed quickly and before the draft. Browns get no respect...
The NFL will give an answer AFTER the draft. If Gordon has been clean since his REHAB stint he might have a shot to come back.
The Browns will treat it as if he does not exist until he is allowed to play.
Not much else No News is Good News? Wish we had more info to give.

SOURCE: NFL's decision on Josh Gordon's potential reinstatement expected by Friday (5.5). Great. I'm falling into the trap again. If he's reinstated, don't cut Gordon, and don't count on him. If he ends up on the team, pretend he's the 5th receiver. He owes us two more years on the cheap. And that's what we should get out of him. After that, I'm not concerned

Eo, that is good to hear. How good orbed do you rate Njoku? I was surprised by this pick, even mores by Barnidge's release. Do you feel he does something (things) really well? I was hoping for two-tight end fury this season. Now, not so sure.

yea bro i fell into the trap weeks ago.
now i'm hoping that he gets a full reinstatement with no game suspensions at the beginning of the season.
that would instantly make our WR group go from trash to above average, possibly good.
cause that would take a ton of pressure off of guys like coleman.

We can keep him without falling into the trap. I'm really curious on Hue's opinion of how we should handle this. IIrc, he kicked Manziel to the curb as his first order of business.

Gordon has been out of the public eye while trying to rehab.
Johnny decided to live it up in Vegas to celebrate rehab.
Slight difference there.

Ditto that.
If Ricky Williams can retire for three years because he wanted to smoke pot, and still come back and play productively for several more years, then why can't Gordon essentially do the same and more?

true, but that means Gordon should've hit those buddhist temples first, that way the cycle can be complete.

Josh made Brandon Weeden look like he was a decent QB merely by having massive YAC #'s.
Can't imagine the guys we have are any worse than Weeden was.
I say we keep him.
Who else has a guy that good for that little money?
WE DON'T NEED A QB BEFORE WE GET A LINE THAT CAN PROTECT HIM my two cents...
