I used to like Brian Hoyer, but he is on my poo list since he talked crap about Cleveland.
So, no matter how much I like Shanny, I hope the 49ers lose tonight. Boo Hoyer Boo

See, I read what he said, and I thought he was being kind.

See, I read what he said, and I thought he was being kind. "The situation in Cleveland was a joke, really a circus." How is that kind? I mean, I guess he could of said worse things. But that wasn't nice.

Is it throwback week? Why are they wearing these ugly ass uniforms. Teams usually wear loud/high contrast/whatever you wanna call 'em uniforms on Thursday nights now. I really like them. It's just easier for me to tell the teams apart and at my age every little bit helps! P.S. I also like the Steelers "bumblebee" uniforms, just because they're so damn obnoxious. It's like REALLY?!? Who designed them, someone on acid? Those uniforms are so bad they're actually good. ...Okay, back to the game.

Goff looking accurate even though there's been some pressures. That slant to Watkins (minus a lot of pressure) was nice. Driving down the field in the two minute.

NFL is wondering why the tv ratings are down. It doesn't help that the Monday, Thursday and London games are all on cable. Most people I know have cut the cord. So, if the NFL wants people to watch the games they need to get all of these games back on regular TV.

Love watching a ref basically end a game with an iffy if not borderline phantom OPI call.
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

surprised with how high scoring the game was. Goff and Hoyer in a showdown?
Gurley and Watkins looked good
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

See, I read what he said, and I thought he was being kind. "The situation in Cleveland was a joke, really a circus." How is that kind? I mean, I guess he could of said worse things. But that wasn't nice. He was being nice. The FO was texting the sideline, Shanny begged to get out, Farmer and Pettine weren't on the same page, Manziel was a joke. He could have said much, MUCH worse. Hell, most of this board said much, much worse.

only watched the last 10 minutes or so, forgot it was on.
the rams yellow uniforms were god awful. took a while to accept sf in black.
hoyer can do some nice things, but when he misses he misses bad. still wings a couple into the dirt, they look like they were shot out of the sky.
noticed dawson not kicking for sf anymore. saw their kicker go 1 for 2 on xp. really nice onside kick.
as someone said, phantom opi call killed the game. but when it is 4th and 20 from your own 40, inside 2 minutes and down by 2, how do you take a sack?

Really good game. I'm an idiot for not starting Sammy Watkins and now he's in the concussion protocol. Last I heard Austin was also being examined for a concussion.

But that wasn't nice. Being kind as in, he could've said much much worse, and it still would've been accurate. He held back.

Goff looks so much better. I gave him zero chance when I saw him last year. His improvement gives me a glimmer of hope for Kizer too.

Writing him off after one year with a crappy team didn't make sense. He was dropping dimes last night. I think Kizer is more physically talented than Goff, but his consistency is so bad that I can't really compare him to Goff.

Oof: Vikings QB Sam Bradford seeking second opinion on knee from Dr. James Andrews, per @mortreport. Has pronounced pain in knee. https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/911274536884109313This is horrible news. Bradford finally had a good situation and he's hurt again.

I remember Hue being called QB impaired cause it was reported that it was Goff or nothing for him at QB in the first round last year. Maybe he knows how to evaluate QBs

Hue may know how to evaluate QB's at times, (not always, i.e. Kessler), but he sure does not know how to call plays or make game management decisions.

The crowd for Rams @ Niners was announced at over 70,000. Although the game started early - around 5:30 local time - the photos below are pretty surprising. Here's the stadium at kickoff time ... Here at 3 minutes before halftime Maybe the League really does have a PR problem?

Numbers I think are quantified by Tickets sold not actual attendance - I could be wrong about that??? But I think that is how it goes.

People bought the tickets, they just didn't show up for the game....
Darren Rovell Verified account @darrenrovell The 49ers sold 63,500 tickets to this game. But 5:30 local start, being 0-2, vs a week opponent gives you this crowd
and...
Darren Rovell Verified account @darrenrovell For those bashing the 49ers tonight, keep in mind:
They're in the top 5 in revenue in the NFL
Sold $500M in PSL's (2nd to the Cowboys)
