I am getting a slight kick out of Roger giving out stage directions 3 feet away from the podium.

That was my thought yesterday and it is reinforced today.

Chubb is a solid pounder.

I don't know the tackle. Thought it may be Conner. But he has had some injuries that Casserly said were serious.

So with the the overnight to consider our options, with several 1st round talents still on the board and in a perfect position to take the BPA, the Browns picked an OT nobody was talking about?

I love Nick Chubb. Love him. Plus, I still think he is not all the way back from his injury. We've yetto see the best from him. This season should be a good year for him.

I probably watched more game films of Nick Chubb than any other prosect this year...

He reminds me a lot of Jamal Lewis.

That is high praise. Hope you are right! I just watched a highlight reel and he seems to be more than fast enough to get outside as well as tough enough to pound the rock between the tackles to great effect. He also seemed to have a nose for the endzone. Of course, it was a highlight reel... I'm happy with the pick. I didn't get the Chubb I thought we were going to get but this Chubb will have to suffice smile

Is that the end of the 2nd or beginning of the 3rd?, and how many picks do we have in the 3rd?

Can't find that stuff on nfl.com.

WE DON'T NEED A QB BEFORE WE GET A LINE THAT CAN PROTECT HIM

I watched games of Corbett...his mirror and kick slide are well...Hes refined for a small school guy...can move (which I like) can be overpowered...Has alot of Bitinio comps...however never thought he would go first pick in round 2...

I am a bit confused by the Corbett pick, probably like everyone else. Most sites had him listed as a guard or center.

I am fine with Chubb... he was a great player when he started at GA, and overcame a knee...

Well, Hyde plus Chubb should be able to handle the tough running yards we have sorely lacked. Here's hoping they both have great seasons!

Yup. It isn't like the folks on NFL Network were criticizing the pick. They said he's very versatile. I like that.

The talking heads on the NFL network were talking about him going 33 or 34 right before we picked and he was rated as a second rounder.

I don't hate our picks from today or yesterday, however I firmly believe they were short reaches...we should have picked up some more picks in round 2 and 3...but guess Dorsey said whatever I want him now.

Nick Chubb was thought to be the next awesome back out of Georgia until his knee injury. He was a beast and is starting to regain that burst and violent running.

End of the 2nd.

Then we also have 114 in the 4th, 150 in the 5th, and 175 and 188 in the 6th.

Just read a scouting report, and they suggest that he might be a Center.

Hmm .....

Different front office.

I do think that he is part of the plan, just not sure which part ......

Hardesty was injured for a month after contact with a blade of grass...

Chubbs knee took a couple of years to come back. He was much better last year.. Chubb had to want to come back.

All I will say is you can never have too many offensive or defensive linemen. So I just hope the guy can play and fit in somewhere. Back up at first and eventually work into the lineup... We shall see.

Different scheme too... We are running a new offense so who knows how these guys fit in...
