Since this entire embarrassment has been talked about in other threads I though I’d drop these here too…

People at work were asking me about this today.

Ugh. It's so awful.

A giant portrait of Tommy Chong at the 50 yd. line, With NO explanation, and also called Brownie
would be more inspiring little doubt.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

I'm not a big fan of the elf but that picture will still be my new desktop computer's wallpaper, at least for a bit. Thanks for posting it!

I had 3 people at the bar, ask what that was in the middle of the field. It may have meaning to long long time browns fans, but to the coverage NFL fan, they have no clue.

Much like the Guardians, outside of Cleveland, people have no idea what "The Guardians" are. Heck I never knew until reading it in an article after the name change. smile

The Brownie looks evil. He reminds me of the creatures in the movies Gremlins and Chucky.

Mulling over the implications of Brownie for the last 24 hours, I'm wondering if one of its eyes might be taken as the malocchio.

How long will Haslam allow it ? There are a lot of superstitious fans out there.

I'm still ticked that Brownie didn't make a single tackle, or even trip somebody up. It's plain to see that he is not a team player wink

That description could be used for many of the players on the defensive side of the ball and they still have jobs.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

They should have repainted the elf for the Thursday night football game we just had. I thought it looked worn out/faded.

Hopefully, they are just letting it fade all the way away.

I think it was actually liked more when it wasn't our official mascot.

Didn't Modell hate the brownie?

I like the brownie, but Modell hating it is a good reason to like it as well. laugh

I understand and can appreciate the history, but I've got to say that watching Brownie dancing around, smiling and hugging Ryan Fitzpatrick like a Disney character on the Thursday pregame show was cringe-worthy.

I suspect it will slowly fade away after this season.

But hell, maybe the elf will end up on the helmet when Haslam is allowed to change the uniform in the future.

Ugh.

Get rid of the stupid evil elf.

Probably the cause of all the bad luck the Browns ever had having it as a "mascot". [censored] can the elf, I say. Change the team name, too - Cleveland Brown Dogs or Cleveland Dobermans. Have the dog as the mascot/logo.

Hazzah.
Can we toast the idea.
(burn it like disco records, tens of thousands would show up to watch, and cheer its removal from the 50 yd. line I bet.
