I guess I'm a jogger then. Did another 5k today, 51:53. I know, incredibly slow but I'm making progress. I probably could have gone another 1/2 mile but decided not to push it.

I could probably do 3:27, myself.
3 months, 27days. lol
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

how many days per week are you running, currently?

just 1 day - I do water aerobics 2 days a week, swim one day. I need to add another day maybe on Wednesdays. I normally do my runs on Saturday. Also do some free weights training 2 times a week.
Definitely add another day when you're able. Even if it's just two mile and then you keep doing your 5k on Saturdays. Your runs will start to feel a LOT better, I almost guarantee it. If time/schedule becomes an issue, I would suggest trading out one of the water aerobics classes, or double it up with your weight training.
Whether it is water aerobics, jogging, or swimming, however, do yourself a favor and ensure you're doing it at an effort level that keeps your heart rate elevated. You don't have to be out of breath, but your heart rate needs to be at least in the aerobic range or it is just wasted time.

quick update on me. I had COVID, recovered pretty quickly, tested negative on day 6 thanks to Paxlovid. Just getting my energy back. Ran a very slow 3.3 miles today, 56 minutes altogether. Just happy I could do it.
quick update - I signed up for my first 5k ever, at Notre Dame College on April 30. Wish me luck! Also, today only ran 2 miles, but 1 mile in 15 minutes, 2 miles in 31:22. The 1 mile is more than a minute faster than ever for me, the 2 miles was over 2 minutes faster. Unfortunately I couldn't quite complete 5k today, so maybe I went too fast. I have so much to learn.
Keep it up! You have plenty of time until April 30. Don’t be worried about your time, it doesn’t matter. Just keep with the slow, steady progress.
Also, don’t worry about race day and any thoughts about being embarrassed by a slow time. All runners have been there, they won’t care if you’re the last to finish, and even if they did, that would make them total losers.
Here’s another video about my boy Terry Fox. Rod Stewart was so inspired by him he wrote this song.
Finished my first 5k ever today! I'm very slow, but managed to finish faster than 11 others. 50:53 with a 16:22 pace. Got so excited 5 steps from the finish line that I managed to trip/fall on some gravel and hurt my nose. Fortunately others helped me up and I was able to walk the final 5 steps. This was my first time running on pavement with some gentle uphills/downhills.This was the Notre Dame 5k 100 anniversary race. Nose is hurting, but otherwise feeling OK. I'm just thrilled that I was able to finish it running (except for the last 5 steps).
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
