I'm pretty shocked by this pick. Seem's like a clone of Evan Moore, former BBall player with good hands, but can't block.

With a TE pick, gotta think Heckert's going straight BPA, according to his board.
I am unfamiliar with this feeling of optimism

exactly my thoughts, seems like a guy with a lot of potential, slowly develop behind Watson and see what happens.

Rd 4: 5th pick (102) | Jordan Cameron TE USC 40 Time: 4.53 sec. | Bench Reps: 23 | Vertical Jump: 37 1/2 ft.
Most interesting fact: his sister is Matt Leinart's baby momma.

Yea. He is probably the most athletic TE in the draft, maybe second to Rob Housler who the Cards drafted in Round 3. Cameron is raw, but has great size and tons of physical ability with a basketball background, so I am optimistic about him developing. Definitely a talented kid, and in an offense that values TEs, this was a good pick in Round 4.

I'm not doubting that he was BPA, but TE was a bit of a need as well. Royal is a FA and I'm guessing won't be re-signed, and they probably view Moore as more of a receiver.

Makes a lot of sense....Heckert has been pretty successful finding west coast tight ends in the 3rd/4th round (Brett Celek, LJ Smith)....Jordan is a pure WCO tight end....good pick

I bet Mourg is livid with the Jordan pick. I'm pretty ticked about it.
I guess we're relying on Pashos at RT again.

With stats like these...Rd 4: 5th pick (102) | Jordan Cameron TE USC 40 Time: 4.53 sec. | Bench Reps: 23 | Vertical Jump: 37 1/2 ft....
...Cameron could cause some match up problems for defenses whether the Browns use him as a TE or a WR.

I'm a bit surprised by this pick, he's an Evan Moore clone who needs alot of work. I would have waited to see if this guy was available with our 5th rnd pick.

I'm not a big fan of the TE pick. He looks very, very raw. Once again, a very raw player taken in an off-season where the coaching staff can't work with anyone. That doesn't make sense to me. This would seem to be a draft to take more "on the field ready" players as opposed to taking flyers on guys who might develop.
I also think that we had much bigger needs, and I don't think that he was the top player left. I would have gone CB there.

There goes Chekwa to the Raiders. They got s solid player there at a position we have a need at.

I think he's a decent 3rd corner. Plus, I think we need a decent 3rd corner far more than we need a 3rd TE who can't block. Are we suddenly going to run a 2 TE WCO?

I have to wonder what version of the WCO we'll be running.

Given that Moore has ended nearly every season of his career on the IR, I can see this guy as his replacement. Same type of player--nearly a carbon copy. If he can stay healthy--then he is going to take over Moore's spot.
Evan was a great talent---he just could not sty healthy. I think this guy takes his roster spot within two years. Maybe even this year.

I've never been that high on Moore...he doesn't seem to have much fluidity in his movements, more of a straight line runner with size and good hands. Cameron, again, is a natural WCO tight end. He can develop as a blocker with time

I just worry that we're starting to take a lot of inexperienced, raw guys. We need guys who can contribute immediately ... especially at WR and on defense ......
Loved the 1st 2 picks. The next 2 ..... not so sure about. I'm trying to retain my faith in Heckert ...... but I question taking a bunch of guys with very little experience.

OK .... I'm rather doubtful that a very limited FB is the best available guy here.

Either way I HATE this pick. There is no way in hell that this guy was the best available player. None. Wow. Did someone kidnap Heckert today?

Chekwa sucks...
wrong, he was probably bpa, wow I haven't been following I can't beleive he was there.
This may go down as the worst Browns draft since the 1st Butch Davis draft with all the Miami hurricanes.
I guess it's time to start taking those 6th round defensive ends because that's the only value left for the 4th round.
this draft isn't just a major whiff, it has come down to, the complete oppisite of what is necessary.
If they're gonna draft this bad, they might as well at least load up on one position and hope one of the group turns into a gem. I mean pass ruhers.
I think the last 5 years of mistakes have come to fruition and this is why each pick feels like a patch in the deck of a sinking ship.
Still the only good pick was Phil Thomas, and they traded down to get a round 2 player in the position that was only a need because they had no foresight with the front 7 for the last 5 years.
This is why free agency is killllllllllling the Browns chances for success.
If they hadn't signed all these old free agents, this wouldn't be a draft of patches on a sinking ship.
Position by position, ... Position by position, this team is going to have the disadvantage ( at the same position) vs every team in the AFC north.
so far the biggest positive, are the 1 and 4 picks in 2012,
somebody, help me out! tell me the positives of these draft picks, that I do not yet see?
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

I don't put a ton of stock into these late round picks.
