Indy has zero chance against a team like Seattle. Seattle will beat them up physically and shut their WRs down.

I'd want New England over Indy and Green Bay over Seattle

I think it will be NE vs Sea though

Good thing they can smoke in Colorado.

That state is on Suicide watch now. Wow, what an epic failure.

Yep. Seattle is repeating. Doesn't matter who's coming out the AFC anymore.

The weather was not bad today.

Manning has not been the same the second half of the season. Denver stopped pushing the ball down field and Indy knew that was coming. Manning has lost something, maybe the injury, or going back to the neck.

I have enjoyed watching Manning all of these years. But we may have seen the last of him.

Is Manning a choke artist?

Man, he always plays his worst in the playoffs.

I've never seen a more accurate deep ball thrower. And he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn today.

It's so strange that someone so good, such a hard worker, one of the best of all time, can shrink so much in the playoffs.

I'm a big Manning fan and wanted to see him get another one. I'm disappointed.

His arm has been done for two years now. It's a testament to his football IQ that he kept it up as long as he has.

And in his prime he thrived off the comfort of his live dome.

If Dallas had beaten Green Bay, I would have loved how this weekend played out.

I was rooting for Carolina over Seattle, but have nothing against Seattle.

Green Bay is the only team left that I absolutely do not want to win.

I will say I am happy for DQ, Cribbs, and Adams.

I hope JT is watching, holds out, and threatens to retire unless he is traded.

He deserves much better. He deserves the chance to taste some success.

Plus the reliability of Wayne, Harrison, and a decent defense.

Tom Brady>Peyton Manning. Brady's done so much more with less available to him.

Why not Green Bay?

To each their own, but they seem like the least offensive team in football to me unless you're a division rival.

In the case of JT, yes, I'm at that point.

He said he's only playing three more years.

I think it's a shame that someone of his caliber and excellent play has only experienced one winning season and never been in the playoffs. I feel bad for him.

Would love to see him protecting Luck's backside next year.

Someone explained they were like the steelers.

I totally disagree. They're a respectable franchise who had the cajones to let go of one of the biggest primadonnas to play football.

I'm getting to the point that I would want anyone but Seattle.

Love their team. Can't stand Sherman.

He's a loud mouth who's day will come. Complete lack of respect for pretty much anyone.

I don't mind the brashness. Confidence. Or even a little arrogance. Would love that on our team.

He's off the charts though. He's got some imaginary chip on his shoulder that is off putting to me.

He's going to be a major target a few years down the road when the skills start to erode.

I said that in the "who are you rooting for thread".

To me they ARE the Steelers of the NFC (maybe the Cowboys are similar too - but Dallas is a warm weather town, so maybe that makes them less of a match).

The Packers and Steelers have many rings and many Super Bowl appearances, they are both well liked all over the country for "doing it the right way", they've both owned their division for a very long time, they both draft well, they retain coaches forever, they both have this arrogant attitude about paying for their own or other teams free agents, they both are small markets in the rust-belt region, and like I said in the other thread, their fans are just as mouthy as Steeler fans.

I've also lived in each of their main rivals city (Cleveland and Chicago). So maybe I've been around this rivalry a lot and interacted with more Packer fans than some of you. Trust me, they're both annoying.

I tell this story all the time, my old boss was a Packer fan and invited me to a company party at his house. The Packers won and they barely said anything. When the Bears lost 15 mins later, they muted the TV and started up an old song over the stereo for the entire party to hear...."The Bears Suck". They sang and danced around for the whole song. And they knew a lot of Bears fans were there. Later on, I asked why they celebrated the Bears loss and didn't celebrate the Packers win and he said, "We expect the Packers to win every week, it's nothing to celebrate. We enjoy celebrating the Bears ineptitude."

That's your average Packers fan.

So yes, I could never root for a team thats so much like the Steelers. As a Browns fan, I could identify with the Vikings and Lions. Heck, Detroit is practically our sister city for the NFL. I guess the Bears too if you weren't old enough to remember 1985.

Just woke up, watched the rest of the Colts/Broncos game. I was surprised Denver didn't come back but Manning threw a lot of short passes that didn't get them very far.

Not a bad game at all.... Trent Richardson wasn't even dressed nor injured.

I guess they finally had to face the music concerning him?

My Seattle/New England projection is looking pretty good right about now, with Seattle taking it all.

Belicheck is coaching his 9th AFC Championship game and has a chance to go to his 6th Super Bowl.

Good God the Browns are beyond cursed.

Also Manning needs to praise whatever deity he believes in for facing Rex Grossman in the Super Bowl. Any other competent QB and he may have zero rings.

I don't think Manning's a choke, he just can't throw anymore like he used to. His receivers also had about 6 drops yesterday, which is odd considering it was D Thomas, J Thomas, and Welker who are usually reliable. Maybe the whole offense choked, or maybe when a team plays great D like Indy did it just looks like a choke job.

Speaking of perceptions of "choking", Tony Romo has long carried that label - sometimes unfairly, but he threw a great pass to Dez Bryant on that 4th & 3 near-catch. If Bryant just goes up and gets it, cradles it, and comes down at the 2 yard line, they would have had 4 shots with DeMarco Murray. He lost it when he tried to stretch for the TD. Still an unbelievable throw, though.

Thank God the Ravens fired him, or they might have that experience.

Can you imagine Bill Belichick with the defense the Ravens had? crazy

Bad throw by Rodgers, too. Should have been thrown to the outside shoulder and deeper in the corner. Nice catch by Sherman, though....
