Anyone interested in bringing this guy in? He was highly regarded coming into the draft, then kind of nose-dived after the Incognito mess. He was just released by the 49ers, so it wouldn't effect compensatory picks.

He was cut because he stinks.

Hard to be a good lineman with no backbone. Incognito was out of line but Martin was a wuss too (JMHO).
He's not a top guy, but he can play either side, and might be a decent backup. He also has starting experience.

Finding quality starters on both sides is hard enough. He could be a decent backup on both sides. Maybe a team looks at him as a starter. It will be interesting to see what teams approach him. I am sure that they will do in depth interviews with him though.

I think the Bills should claim him off waivers. Already having Incognito they would be a perfect pick for Hard Knocks.

It would literally hurt nothing to invite him to training camp and see if he can compete for RG or RT. I say do it, but that's just me, I'm sick of the right side of our offensive line being a problem. Martin probably isn't a solution to said problem, but creating competition never hurts.

If I was coaching a Lingerie League Team...I'd give him a shot.

My thoughts exactly, what's it hurt to "kick the tires" as was said.

Although I disagree with the Right side of the line being a problem,...

I was just thinking he couldn't be any worse than luminaries like McQuistan or O'neil Cousins who've played significant time for the Browns. He has position versatility and upside if he can get back to the attitude he had at Stanford. I don't think he is so much soft as he has lost his confidence. I think he'd fit in the culture/demeanor of our o-line better than he did in Miami or SF. Joe T. is a pretty positive guy and Mack is a fellow left coaster. I'm not saying he's the answer, but buying low can pay off and now would be the time to do that.
