Tests on the rest of the Browns’ players came back negative this morning, per source.

For now.

We need more positive tests! What are these guys doing?

He also said as of now there were no close contacts (which I find crazy lol)

They're not even trying to hide this sham anymore.

I have found it odd that early this season we had, in one day, like 77 positive tests that were discovered to be false positives the next day. Yet never heard of a false positive test after that day. The whole who tests positive, who is a close contact, how close contacts are determined and when games will be postponed seems to be a moving target at this point.

And in the center ring you have the NFL owners counting their money! Step right on up folks!

Bring up to date please .. Did Ward have Covid or was he a contact case ? If he had Covid , how well do we expect him to play .. Ok , Hodge ; He was a contact list that didn't have , and then got play Sunday .. Now Monday he has it ?

I dont think the NFL is doing it on purpose I think somebody or somebody's has someone on the inside of this medical company that administers the covid test. Using that person to manipulate the samples in order to manipulate the betting lines. I would not doubt many people seen this virus as a golden opportunity

well, we have Sendejo back, so we're good.

Sendejo might actually be effective (for a change) against the "short field" passing offense now employed by the Steelers, because I don't think Ben can throw the ball downfield anymore. IMO, where Sendejo gets exposed is on the deep routes.

Sendejo has been bagged on a lot but he has made the occasional play and he's put his body on the line. Next man up - go get 'em Andrew! Help us achieve the impossible dream!

He can't tackle and goes for the big hit. Laying that lumber on jojo once or twice would improve his standing.

His recognition and reaction is also poor, as is the angles he takes, but his best game was his most recent.

I've bagged on him as much as anyone, but the last two games he played he started using his arms to tackle and has made a couple nice open field take downs. It's something.

Sendejo has made a few plays: the strip against Dallas, he broke up a 2 point play in a key drive, etc.

He certainly TRIES ... you’ll always see him playing motivated.

But yeah, he’s not great either

He actually was improving in his last couple of games (Sandejo) before the Covid IR.

Denzel Ward is huge to get back! We can survive losing Harrison at safety.

Bitonio is a tough loss. Does Hubbard go there (frankly he sucks) I wouldn't mind Lamm going at LG.

Hubbard exploded his knee, and Harris is on IR.

Forgot how Hubbard ended his season.

Michael Dunn is next man up. As previously stated the kid has to man up and get intense. He has the size and mobility...now all we need is him to get in there and play the game of his LIFE!

Michael Dunn starting at LG is why I really hope Bill Callahan is on the sideline Sunday. Some one-on-one time with Callahan between possessions could help him play his best. Dunn starting is also why I really hope we can get a practice or two in this week.

Dunn has the size and EO posted he has mobility. What he doesn't have is experience. He may be another good find for us with good coaching and reps but right now it's not a good situation for him being thrown in a game like this and a playoff game to boot. I wish him well.

Can you come off the list after ten days on the list or ten days after the first positive test? Either way it's hard for me to see Ward and/or Smith playing after not practicing at all (I know we only had one practice).

I don't know about you guys but I think not having our top three corners in the playoff game might be a problem.

This may sound crazy, because it's counter-intuitive, but with the state of this secondary, would it be better to blitz more? I mean, I feel like you reach a point where you just let 'er rip and let the chips fall where they may.

All year we have given up big plays deep.

Getting Harrison back is a help. But we have no real backup for Ward.

So I don't really understand. On the 31st Ward and Smith test positive. So presumably Smith has no symptoms and tests negative for 10 days and can come back. Harrison tests positive but a series of follow up confirmation tests come up negative so he can play? So I assume that means Ward at some point has shown symptoms? Or after ten days is still testing positive? I was sure hoping Ward would be back.

Not having Ward is a really, really bad break against their WR ... add in Johnson and maybe Mitchell ... yeah, that’s a nightmare

The problem is that blitzes land at best about 40ish% of the time. That means you are left covering for 60% of the snaps with a depleted secondary. I’d rather just rush four and hope for a nuclear Myles Garrett game. Also, Roethlisberger is king of the short pass this season so the blitz would probably be even less effective.

I’d blitz almost never this game ... he gets it out too quickly to have us effectively do it. I’d just buy time until Myles can ever get there

If Phillips and Ogunjobi can dominate the middle and the Browns get a turnover advantage, take care of the opportunites in the Red zone,
and make the most out of every offensive possession,

add in if Chubb and Hunt or Both have a big day, and this game could be the opposite of miserable to watch.

I tested positive for COVID on the 29th. I’m still struggling with congestion, headaches and at times, shortness of breath. If Ward was truly positive he could still be experiencing symptoms that is keeping him from playing. Really sucks because the most success Pittsburg had last week was the deep ball vertical pass. Hopefully with Ronnie and Sendejo back at safety it will help protect some of that and the coaches worked on game planning for that...even if it was virtually.

The Conklin situation has me a bit nervous. Are we assuming he was also a false positive and he’s traveling alone with the hopes of testing negative this morning?

Or he is ill and testing negative right now. We may be nervous about him travelling with the team and testing positive this morning. That would make everyone a close contact.

There's still such a thing as the Common Cold and the Flu.

Covid has been linked to just about every symptom imaginable.

If he is traveling, obviously he tested negative.

Like VaDawg said, it is almost certainly a precaution to make sure contact tracing/infection does not effect the team in the event he tests positive (next test would be Monday, I believe), as a positive test would be linked back to when the symptoms first occurred and would include the entire team if he were to get on that plane.

Anybody back from Covid list is good news.

All 3 have given us some quality REPS and it will be good to have them in this playoff game. Ronnie Harrison, Harrison Bryant and Malcolm Smith.

It was a pretty athletic pick, I thought.

It was an incredible pick. He jumped as high as he could, stretched as far as he could, and grabbed it out of the air. The Steelers receiver was there with this "what???" look on his face, because he expected that ball to drop into him.

Don't get me wrong, I liked the pick, but he dropped almost straight back 6 steps and jumped up. He didn't even have to cut left or right. Heck he was just well...there. Not covering anyone per say and Ben tossed it to him.

Then again, Ben's arm is toast.

I've been tested 5 times already - from viewing my experience has told me that the quick test has many false positives and negatives.

When I went in with 103 temp. The test came up negative but the hospital totally ignored the results as they didn't care what the test showed. They kept me in ICU for 5 days.
