Are you talking about the fun times game at the carnival or amusement park? Only pointer I have is move slowly because the length of the rope and length of the rod are meant to make tiny movements become over exaggerated and there in cause a pendulum effect where you can't control the heavy magnet at the end of the long rope from going back and forth or in a circle so that you really have little to no control over getting your magnet near the thing to pick up.
All carnival games are designed for people to lose, or only win tiny prizes not displayed.
I think he is talking about something other than I mentioned. And maybe this topic is a ruse to see who would respond and I took the bait. Maybe I'm the fish that gets caught by magnets.
It’s throwing a large powerful magnet tied to a rope into a body of water to see what you can drag up. It’s usually done around docks and piers. Mostly what’s brought up us sunglasses, bikes, scooters, and the occasional gun.
Never been, but have watched several programs...maybe PBS or History channel. In one, some guy pulled up a 400 year old Sword...maybe the Thames in London?
