What in the world?

You can fish with magnets?

Can the magnets feed a generator for a zero carbon footprint?

Are you talking about the fun times game at the carnival or amusement park?
Only pointer I have is move slowly because the length of the rope and length of the rod are meant to make tiny movements become over exaggerated and there in cause a pendulum effect where you can't control the heavy magnet at the end of the long rope from going back and forth or in a circle so that you really have little to no control over getting your magnet near the thing to pick up.

All carnival games are designed for people to lose, or only win tiny prizes not displayed.

I think he is talking about something other than I mentioned. And maybe this topic is a ruse to see who would respond and I took the bait. Maybe I'm the fish that gets caught by magnets.

I try to hit the magnet run each spring.

It’s throwing a large powerful magnet tied to a rope into a body of water to see what you can drag up. It’s usually done around docks and piers. Mostly what’s brought up us sunglasses, bikes, scooters, and the occasional gun.

Have done it with my boys a few times... have never found anything too exciting... mainly nails and other junk...

I've never heard of such a thing.
I learned something new today.
It's good to still be alive.

Me too. During this year's positive run, I only brought my positive lures. Dumb move.

Felt pretty negative afterward.

Never been, but have watched several programs...maybe PBS or History channel. In one, some guy pulled up a 400 year old Sword...maybe the Thames in London?

That's crazy! I suppose that's a good place to do it.

I did manage to haul in an iPhone 8 one time doing conventional fishing, but that was it in my experience.

Headline news: A man that goes by BADdog, brought up a steel chest containing Jimmy Hoffa, while magnet fishing in New York.

Only if the magnet is strong enough to pull bodies through concrete.

Hoffa went through a tree chipper in a corn field in PA. They couldn't have found him if they wanted to after a couple rains.

Or they cremated him. Either way, he's not going to be found.

He is still around. Not long ago I saw him and Elvis at a ham and egger in West Memphis, Arkansas.
