Amazing talent.

Also the greatest legs in the history of the business.

If you haven't seen it, check out her performance with Mick Jagger at Live Aid.

RIP

Great performer.

We are losing our icons more and more quickly. I guess we are all getting old too.

RIP Tina.

This sucks.
Always liked her music, respect her a lot for her talents and resilience as a human being.

I’ve seen that performance with Jagger but my favourite Tina Turner “moment” is the duet she did with Bryan Adams in the mid-80. Its Only Live is a great song and they hammered it when they played it live.

Tina was the ultimate showgirl.

She knew people wanted to have fun at a show. She brought high energy and showmanship.

I thought she was great in Thunderdome. She had that kick ass presence.

It is sad seeing these people go but I am happy to have been there during their time.

Quite a talented woman who overcame much.

I was fortunate enough to have seen her perform at a convention I attended. It must have been around 1981-82? Kind of in the beginning of her comeback, or transformation. There were maybe 500 of us at the conference, so it wasn't like she could have been commanding super big bucks.

A long road from Brownsville, some say Nut Bush, Tennessee.

R.I.P Tina.

As a kid I remember her music with Ike. At the time none of us had any idea what was going on behind the scenes. In high school our music teacher took us on a field trip to see Tommy the musical by the Who. I can only imagine the outrage such a thing would cause today. But after watching her performance in Tommy I was totally hooked!

I'd forgotten about Thunderdome.

Aunt Entity vs. Master Blaster for control of Barter Town is good stuff.

Godspeed, Tina, and RIP. Thanks for some thrilling performances. Can't think of her without remembering the Ike "Proud Mary" version. Can't ignore it. Her energy and focus just moved me. Thanks, Tina.
