I don't know if I had an electrical spike, or what ...... but my router and modem both died. Bleh. I bought the fastest one I could afford, and it arrived 2 days early, so I got it all set up and I am back online. I have to get a better surge protector, or maybe just a new one. Anyway, happy ending is that everything is back up and running.
