I had a dream last night the the Browns lost to the Chargers 20-0.
...Also part of that dream, Ohio State was losing to Tulsa 112-108 with 4 minutes left in the 4th and both teams had over 950 yards of total offense...

so take that what you will.
Your dreams sure aren't giving much credit to Tulsa's D.
Chargers defense is not as bad as some of you seem to think. They are 10th against the run. As for thier offense we dont have a single lb that can cover thier duel threat running back attack. Not to mention teams seem to be able to run on us at will when attacking either edge of our D line. Melvin Gordon will have a massive day. I'm hoping for nasty weather but it doesn't look like it unless the forecast changes.
Cleveland is a tough place to play when the fans have a reason to get loud....With Mayfield the Dawg Pound will become ferocious once again....and opposing teams will struggle...

Hue was kinda upset that our fans weren't loud (or even there) to start last game. Is this true from anyone that did attend?

I was there. Place took a bit to fill up (still a lot of empty seats though). A little subdued at the beginning yes. I think we were on pins and needles, because it's the Ravens, and merely needed a reason to get crazy before we committed, if that makes any sense lol.

I'm not doubting you, but do you have a link about Hue being upset w/the fans?

It was in his press conference today. Here's a small quote from the convo

Hue Jackson says he'd like fans "in the stands before the game begins and to get as loud as they've ever been" Sunday v #Chargers
Hue wants our house to be a tough place for opponents. I don't know why people can't be in their seats at the kickoff, btw. Don't they want to see the game?
I'll be honest. I've been a little surprised with the whole experience in the Club section. Seats in front of mine are different people every game and never full. I'm guessing six corporate seats. Only two people there Sunday - sat on their hands the whole time. Chick looked back at me a little upset when I was getting too loud. They won't be back.
I guess it goes with the territory, people showing up at the game because someone from the law firm has free tickets. The section as a whole is okay but I would expect a little more excitement with the turnaround we're witnessing... I'm sure it will get better.
Looking across to the clubs on the other side, A LOT of empty seats. How are the clubs only 70% full when all the tickets are sold? For the Ravens?? C'mon man!
My first season with season tickets. I get my voice back late Mondays or early Tuesday, wouldn't have it any other way.
We up 21-10 at halftime Final score Browns 31 Chargers 23
Baker the TD maker goes 20 for 30 310 yds 2 tds 1 int. Hyde runs for 127 yds 1td Chubb has 51 yds 1 td Callaway has his best game. 6 catches for 97 yds 2tds. Defense holds Rivers to 275 yds 2tds 2 ints Ward has 1 pick and Shobert gets the other.
On paper it would be hard for me to predict a Browns win. But the way I see it is we beat them in 2016 with far less talent so I can see no reason why we can't beat them now.

Interesting. I'm in section 307 (about the 40 yard line) of the club seats on the city side of the stadium and while a lot of times the people around me are different each week, it has been loud and everyone standing up and cheering quite a bit. Most people high-fiving after big plays.
I have noticed that club corner sections seem to have more empty seats.
This defense held Brees and Big Ben in check, I don't think Rivers brings anything they didn't. Only difference now is we have some offense. Aren't the Chargers the only team we beat in the two previous seasons when we really sucked? I think we got thier number, Browns win and we are gonna whip on em!
Much like you I find it too hard to predict. With this team, anything is possible.
I'll refer back to my comment above. We beat the Chargers in 2016 with far less talent than we have now. So there's no reason for me to believe we can't beat them now. That's not a prediction that we will, but it certainly means we can.

Brees, by himself, may not bring anything that Ben & Brees don't, but what will differ is the weapons at his disposal and how we match up with them (or don't), which is what remains to be seen.
I'll tell you what, though, win or lose, if we play them close, there will be no team that I won't give us a realistic chance against.
I did pick the Browns to win Sunday in my weekly confidence picks. I expect another close game. I would like to see this team be a little more clean in their play, but I expect a little bit of sloppiness.
Special teams will probably be another adventure. I just wonder what they are going to do about this kicking situation if this team wins a few more games in the next few weeks. It really sucks finally being able to compete with these other teams every week, only to know that at best, we have a 50/50 shot at average NFL field goal, anything past 40 yards is a wasted attempt, and extra points are also no guarantee.
The chargers are little underrated as they've only lost to the two undefeated teams (chiefs and rams...both of whom would romp us) and they beat up on the Raiders whom ended up beating us...
